:00:40. > :00:44.but police say it is increasingly being done by children, unaware that

:00:45. > :00:51.Notts's Sexual Exploitation Investigation Unit says it has grave

:00:52. > :00:56.concerns about the growth of so`called sexting.

:00:57. > :01:00.We have a lot of reports coling through of teenagers sending

:01:01. > :02:54.indecent images of themselvds to each other and boyfriend/girlfriend

:02:55. > :02:57.Well, put simply the inspectors think that the Nottinghamshhre

:02:58. > :03:00.Police are at risk of running out of money next year and it comes

:03:01. > :03:03.down to whether they can afford to have so many uniformed officers

:03:04. > :03:06.Yesterday we heard they werd trying to protect front`line jobs

:03:07. > :03:10.by selling off buildings but today the inspector said the forcd would

:03:11. > :03:16.need to cut bobbies as well and this report pulls no punches.

:03:17. > :03:18.It says the force needs to provide local policing with

:03:19. > :03:25.The force's existing structure isn't sustainable.

:03:26. > :03:27.They were concerned that the Nottinghamshire force dhdn't

:03:28. > :03:32.take earlier decisions about its long`term future `nd say

:03:33. > :03:34.that there is a significant risk to maintaining a balanced budgdt.

:03:35. > :03:38.This is one of only three police forces in the country that had been

:03:39. > :03:43.Now, today we had a responsd to Nottinghamshire Police.

:03:44. > :03:46.They said firstly, a lot of officers' jobs are already

:03:47. > :03:52.These days they do everything from running the custody suhtes to

:03:53. > :03:58.We also heard from the Deputy Chief Constable who spoke to BBC Radio

:03:59. > :04:01.Nottingham and said she was irritated by this report because she

:04:02. > :04:06.said the inspectors knew th`t these further changes were being planned.

:04:07. > :04:09.Those plans have not been announced yet, but it is a safe bet

:04:10. > :04:16.that they will involve seeing fewer bobbies here in Nottinghamshire

:04:17. > :04:19.Well, earlier we spoke to Nottinghamshire's Police and

:04:20. > :04:23.He claimed the force WAS being cost effective,

:04:24. > :04:27.by taking on more civilians as well as uniformed officers.

:04:28. > :04:30.We are doing that, and the report says that.

:04:31. > :04:34.It is pretty clear, if you're investigating IT crime,

:04:35. > :04:39.Internet crime, what you want is not a warranted officer, yot want

:04:40. > :04:47.I guess what the inspectors are saying, `nd it is

:04:48. > :04:52.right, I don't resign from this we need to do it more quickly.

:04:53. > :04:55.Say you promised more officdrs, that is your big pledge,

:04:56. > :05:00.but in reality, you're going to have to cut that back.

:05:01. > :05:05.Over the two`year period, we will have recruited

:05:06. > :05:12.That is what is panning out from the report,

:05:13. > :05:17.What we're doing is what the inspectorate say,

:05:18. > :05:21.we have to change the mix of staff and we're doing th`t.

:05:22. > :05:27.The closure of police stations hasn't been universally poptlar

:05:28. > :05:33.The report focuses on the work we're doing in the

:05:34. > :05:38.East Midlands with other police forces, so cutting back offhce costs

:05:39. > :05:44.gives us the opportunity to maintain front`line policing.

:05:45. > :05:47.A senior officer at Derby Chty Council has been suspended.

:05:48. > :05:53.Roger Kershaw, the Strategic Director of Rdsources

:05:54. > :05:55.is under investigation, but the council hasn't revealed why

:05:56. > :05:57.In a statement it says it's a "neutral"

:05:58. > :06:02.act but can't comment furthdr until "the process has been concltded "

:06:03. > :06:05.It's been almost two years hn the making and cost more th`n four

:06:06. > :06:07.million pounds, but this wedkend, Leicester's

:06:08. > :06:11.new permanent Richard III Visitor Centre will open.

:06:12. > :06:14.Among exhibitions on his rehgn and death, visitors will also be

:06:15. > :06:19.able to see the trench wherd his remains were found in 2012.

:06:20. > :06:21.It's hoped the centre will bring in hundreds of thousands

:06:22. > :06:28.of visitors to Leicester and boost the city's economx.

:06:29. > :06:30.That's your news. So, it's goodbye from me,

:06:31. > :06:37.but with your weather now, here's Anna Church.

:06:38. > :06:45.Some fine weather over the last few days, some changes tonight, the

:06:46. > :06:49.high`pressure moving across with an easterly wind and that brings in

:06:50. > :06:53.some low cloud and missed from the North Sea, but that will brdak up

:06:54. > :07:00.quickly through the morning, so more warm sunshine as the morning moves

:07:01. > :07:04.on. A fine evening for most of us, but the cloud is rolling in from the

:07:05. > :07:12.east and it will breed all of us towards the end of the night, so it

:07:13. > :07:17.would be a humid end and a warm hand, 14 to 15 degrees. In the

:07:18. > :07:19.morning, some cloud around, that breaks up quickly through the

:07:20. > :07:26.morning, and that sunshine comes back. Some showers later in the day,

:07:27. > :07:31.more of a breeze, so it will take the edge off the temperaturds, but

:07:32. > :07:36.still reaching 27, 20 8 degrees and from the outlook, it would be

:07:37. > :07:44.Good evening. I know some of us could do with a drop of rain for the

:07:45. > :07:48.gardens, and the hot weather doesn't suit us all, but it's within a warm

:07:49. > :07:52.one today. 20 degrees in many parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland,

:07:53. > :07:56.the warmest day of the year so far. It's been a hot one further south

:07:57. > :08:00.too. 30 degrees along the south coast of England. There's plenty

:08:01. > :08:07.more warmth to come through the rest of this week. A balmy night. Most of

:08:08. > :08:13.us dry. Low cloud and mist off the North Sea into central and eastern

:08:14. > :08:16.parts of the UK. The odd shower possible across the west of Northern

:08:17. > :08:20.Ireland, otherwise dry and humid. Temperatures in the midteens to

:08:21. > :08:29.start the day. Whoa might see the odd shower across eastern England

:08:30. > :08:30.early on. Most of us is dry. By the afternoon, we could see an isolated
