:01:20. > :01:23.starting primary school when the Royal Anglians were first ddployed
:01:24. > :01:27.to Afghanistan and now the regiment is back for good. People wanted to
:01:28. > :01:33.come today to show their support. I don't think a soldier among us did
:01:34. > :01:37.not see that. We will be proud as punch tomorrow. The drummers were on
:01:38. > :01:41.ceremonial duty today and a few weeks ago they were manning machine
:01:42. > :01:45.guns. This is how the battalion trained for a role where thdy knew
:01:46. > :01:48.they would come under fire. They were helping the British withdrawal
:01:49. > :01:52.from Helmand Province by protecting front`line bases as their ddfences
:01:53. > :01:57.were dismantled. The Royal @nglians were the last British troops in
:01:58. > :02:02.Lashkar Gar, a city that local Afghan forces are now protecting on
