:02:12. > :02:13.has happened to them. They are being treated like
:02:14. > :02:16.criminals, bank robbers, taken away in handcuffs and shoved into police
:02:17. > :02:21.cars, there is no need for that. A Czech clinic is prepared
:02:22. > :02:24.to receive Ashya. I do not want many more kids to die,
:02:25. > :02:33.like a lot of people are dying Parents say they're devastated
:02:34. > :02:40.after the Government terminated the funding for a new Sikh
:02:41. > :02:43.free school in Leicester. The Falcons Primary won't now
:02:44. > :02:47.open on Wednesday as planned. The Government says that there's
:02:48. > :02:50.been a serious breakdown But the school trustees say
:02:51. > :03:08.?1 million of public money has Decades without a school. On
:03:09. > :03:12.Wednesday, there were supposed to be going to the new Falcons Primary in
:03:13. > :03:18.Leicester. Our free school or the Sikh ethos. But the Government has
:03:19. > :03:23.terminated funding. Parents met to protest outside Leicester Town Hall.
:03:24. > :03:32.I am devastated. As a community, we were so excited. And at the 11th
:03:33. > :03:36.hour, it has been taken from us. Even my child has been asking what
:03:37. > :03:40.is happening. I have explained to her but she has made new friends at
:03:41. > :03:45.the school and she is devastated. The school was supposed to be based
:03:46. > :03:49.here, close to Leicester General Hospital. Many in the Sikh community
:03:50. > :03:54.were looking forward to it. It was hoped that as many as 460 pupils
:03:55. > :03:57.would eventually be based here. The Government says several key members
:03:58. > :04:01.of staff have resigned. The school was supposed to be working with a
:04:02. > :04:03.Leicestershire `based education trust. In a letter terminating the
:04:04. > :04:22.funding, Lord Nash said... ?1 million has been spent on a
:04:23. > :04:27.building with another ?2 million going to be sunk into that building.
:04:28. > :04:33.It is taxpayers' money. I am a businessman, I pay taxes. I don't
:04:34. > :04:38.want my money to go to waste. I would actively work with the
:04:39. > :04:45.community and the D of E to get a resolution. What has happened is not
:04:46. > :04:49.an acceptable way to treat this community group. The city council is
:04:50. > :04:51.now trying to help parents find alternative schools.
:04:52. > :04:54.A town in Derbyshire is preparing to offer routine GP appointments
:04:55. > :05:00.The surgery in Ilkeston will be the first part of our region to widen
:05:01. > :05:05.The move is controversial among some doctors' leaders,
