:00:19. > :00:21.of both the Catholic Church and the Church of England whll be

:00:22. > :00:24.taking part in the re`internment of King Richard III in Leicdster.

:00:25. > :00:27.The king died a Catholic almost 60 years before

:00:28. > :00:32.Until today it wasn't clear how Catholicism would be reflected

:00:33. > :00:42.in next year's event. Carol Hinds reports.

:00:43. > :00:46.A procession could form part of the services and ceremonies which will

:00:47. > :00:53.be held for the internment of King and the third `` Cymru and the

:00:54. > :00:56.third. The most senior membdrs of the Catholic Church and the Church

:00:57. > :01:04.of England will take part `` Richard III. The King's remains will be

:01:05. > :01:12.received, that is an inch and service which is part of both

:01:13. > :01:18.traditions `` inching service. It eventually became the Anglican

:01:19. > :01:24.parish church. We are absolttely delighted the Cardinal is coming

:01:25. > :01:29.here to preach in the cathedral The Anglican Church was established in

:01:30. > :01:36.1534. Next year will be 530 years since his death in 1485. We

:01:37. > :01:44.celebrate Mass for departed brothers and sisters, so we will prax for

:01:45. > :01:48.Richard III's soul. The authorities say next year's ceremonies will be

:01:49. > :01:53.special services. But should not be thought of as a state funer`l. It is

:01:54. > :01:58.neither a state nor a funer`l, the cause the funeral took placd, that

:01:59. > :02:05.cannot be ripped Peter had `` repeated. It is an internment. Work

:02:06. > :02:06.is underway both inside and outside Leicester Cathedral as they prepare

:02:07. > :02:12.for a week of special services. Police are investigating

:02:13. > :02:14.a firearms incident in Derbx. They say a group of people

:02:15. > :02:16.forced their way into Two people inside

:02:17. > :02:21.suffered minor injuries ` Four people, aged between 26 and 32,

:02:22. > :02:29.have been arrested. The father of a young woman who

:02:30. > :02:32.died suddenly from an undiagnosed heart problem is raising funds to

:02:33. > :02:35.research the condition. Retired teacher John Holmes,

:02:36. > :02:37.from Derbyshire, will be directly following

:02:38. > :02:42.in his daughter's footsteps by trekking through

:02:43. > :02:55.part of the Himalayas. Many people put their feet tp on

:02:56. > :03:00.retiring, but John Holmes from Derby has set himself a high`altitude

:03:01. > :03:07.challenge. The challenge is to take a trek all the way around a stretch

:03:08. > :03:15.just short of 200 miles in the Himalayas. My daughter, whol we lost

:03:16. > :03:18.five years ago, the year before she died, it was part of her trhp around

:03:19. > :03:22.the world, one of the things she wanted to do for many years. When

:03:23. > :03:25.she came back in the summer, she had been travelling for quite a long

:03:26. > :03:32.time after it, and she said it was one of the most enjoyable things she

:03:33. > :03:38.did. And you could do that! John is also raising money for charhties in

:03:39. > :03:41.his daughter's name. We revhved her enough in order for her to donate

:03:42. > :03:47.organs. She would have also wanted that. There was not enough time to

:03:48. > :03:50.save her life, unfortunatelx. I have got a real picture in my mind

:03:51. > :03:55.already of what it is like `ll the way up. When I get up to thd pass,

:03:56. > :04:02.which I will do, it will be rather special. He will be setting off next

:04:03. > :04:07.month. Hundreds of others were on foot

:04:08. > :04:11.today, and throwing off thehr shoes for the barefoot walk in Nottingham.

:04:12. > :04:15.It was to highlight poverty in places of the world that cannot

:04:16. > :04:19.afford shoes. You could walk three or five kilometres around the park,

:04:20. > :04:24.with spears shoes being don`ted to charity. `` spare shoes.

:04:25. > :04:27.The fire brigade had to givd some help to those using a giant slide

:04:28. > :04:31.The 100ft inflatable was set up on Kipling Drive,

:04:32. > :04:35.But with washing`up liquid and a little extra water prdssure,

:04:36. > :04:43.It was a lot faster than I thought it was going to be, and wet. Very

:04:44. > :04:46.wet. You do not slow down when you hit the full form at the bottom As

:04:47. > :04:56.you can see, I am absolutelx drenched. It is good, it is great,

:04:57. > :05:02.lots of people around, it is good. There is nothing better in the world

:05:03. > :05:10.than a water slide. Determined to have a go, I was!

:05:11. > :05:14.Here is the weather forecast. It has been a superb day today, and

:05:15. > :05:17.very little in the way of change. There will be loads of that lovely

:05:18. > :05:21.sunshine returning through tomorrow. Little changing for the rest of the

:05:22. > :05:25.day and through tonight. St`ying dry throughout the night, clear skies as

:05:26. > :05:29.well. The temperatures are going to take a tumble tonight, down to

:05:30. > :05:36.around four, 5 degrees in rtral spots. Fog clears out of thd way

:05:37. > :05:41.through the morning, and it looks as though we're in for a superb day.

:05:42. > :05:48.Little bit of Fairweather cloud but a beautiful afternoon, sunshine and

:05:49. > :05:51.blue skies, feeling pleasant with highs of 18, 19 Celsius. Quote will

:05:52. > :05:55.be returning next week on Ttesday. `` cloud.

:05:56. > :06:12.More from me at 10:30pm. Good night. Good evening. Most of us had a

:06:13. > :06:15.lovely end to the weekend but the exception was the north-east of

:06:16. > :06:18.Scotland. It was cold, wet and windy but the low responsible is now

:06:19. > :06:21.moving away and we have high pressure moving its way in from the

:06:22. > :06:24.West. The pressure is rising all the while over the next few days which

:06:25. > :06:28.will settle things down nicely and it will be dry pretty much all week.

:06:29. > :06:33.But the forecasting headache will be the amount of cloud. The next few

:06:34. > :06:36.hours will still be pretty wet and windy in the north-east of Scotland

:06:37. > :06:40.but through the small hours the ring becomes quite liked and patchy.

:06:41. > :06:45.Elsewhere it is a dry night, a few patches of low cloud here and there

:06:46. > :06:49.but for many it is a night of clear spells, and major towns and cities

:06:50. > :06:53.will be a degree either side of double figures but in rural areas

:06:54. > :06:57.temperatures could reach as low as one degree. Northern Scotland will

:06:58. > :06:59.be cloudy and breezy, not much Rangers peak of but they will be

:07:00. > :07:01.some. The central lowlands will
