:00:33. > :00:47.This shows what was becoming a world`beating beacon of a btilding.

:00:48. > :00:52.Instead, overnight, this is what it became.

:00:53. > :00:57.We've been watching it develop over the past six months and it's just

:00:58. > :01:01.a bit shocking, really, to see that it's burned to the ground.

:01:02. > :01:02.It was a beautiful building, it was fascinating.

:01:03. > :01:07.To see what's left of it now is just really sad.

:01:08. > :01:10.You can see how charred bits of the building have landed

:01:11. > :01:14.on this roof from the site of the fire over there.

:01:15. > :01:17.The blaze on Friday night could be seen for miles.

:01:18. > :01:21.Buildings under construction are more vulnerable to fire.

:01:22. > :01:25.60 firefighters brought it under control.

:01:26. > :01:28.Thankfully, nobody was hurt and no other buildings destroyed.

:01:29. > :01:33.The initial reaction was ond of shock and horror, really,

:01:34. > :01:37.that this wonderful new building was being consumed by flames.

:01:38. > :01:40.But there was sadness about what had been lost but then,

:01:41. > :01:45.immediately, a determination to continue and find a way through it.

:01:46. > :01:48.We can't be drawn into whether or not it was suspicious but at this

:01:49. > :01:51.time, I want to emphasise that the scale of this incident was huge

:01:52. > :01:54.You can see the devastation behind us.

:01:55. > :01:56.There was a considerable buhlding here that has been lost.

:01:57. > :02:00.It's not something we can rtsh into in regard to a cause.

:02:01. > :02:04.And investigators are working closely together to do that.

:02:05. > :02:07.While they do, part of Triulph Road remains cordoned off.

:02:08. > :02:12.One business here says that's costing them at least ?2,000 a day.

:02:18. > :02:22.But the fire, as you can sed, affected us on Saturday and is

:03:43. > :03:45.in the first phase of construction for the new high`speed rail line.

:03:46. > :03:52.After winning a ?15 million Network Rail contract to supply

:03:53. > :03:57.gantries, this long established family firm of steel fabric`tors

:03:58. > :04:02.in Loughborough now has its sights on getting work on HS2.

:04:03. > :04:07.It offers real opportunities and that is to supply the lhkes

:04:08. > :04:10.of this steelwork into major national infrastructure projects on

:04:11. > :04:13.a scale, really, that hasn't been seen in the construction industry,

:04:14. > :04:18.Work on phase one, the London`to`Birmingham leg,

:04:19. > :04:26.It should result in more th`n ?10 billion worth of contracts.

:04:27. > :04:29.Two supply chain conferences are being held next month

:04:30. > :04:33.and 40 firms from our region are said to be going along.

:04:34. > :04:37.What we are putting together ` and this will all be revealdd

:04:38. > :04:41.at the supply chain conference ` is a series of contracts for the

:04:42. > :04:44.civil works, so that's the tunnels, the bridges, the embankments,

:04:45. > :04:50.This recruitment firm speci`lising in the rail industry says there are

:04:51. > :04:54.fantastic opportunities but getting the right staff could

:04:55. > :04:59.Some of the average ages within the rolling stock sectors are 5 ,

:05:22. > :05:24.succeeding in the delivery of the project and they recognise that

:05:25. > :05:28.which is good to see, so early involvement in the supply chain is

:05:31. > :05:33.Tonight, Bombardier said that if it was successful

:05:34. > :05:37.in winning the HS2 rolling stock contracts, yet to be put out to

:05:38. > :05:39.tender, then their current hntention was to build the trains in Derby.

:05:40. > :05:50.Contracts for rolling stock could be worth up to ?7.5 billion.

:05:51. > :05:53.People in a Nottinghamshire village have welcomed the return

:05:54. > :05:56.of extra health care today but say it's still not enough.

:05:57. > :05:59.A health visitor has begun a trial clinic in Bestwood Village
