:00:00. > :00:00.This is East Midlands Today with Anne Davies and me, Dominic Heale.

:00:00. > :00:09.the first day out of hospit`l for a critically ill baby.

:00:10. > :00:24.After months of planning, specialist nurses accompanied five`month`old

:00:25. > :00:27.Wyatt to his parents' wedding. He was smiling, and I didn't think he

:00:28. > :00:32.would, because I thought he would be quite overwhelmed. To have him there

:00:33. > :00:34.for the day topped it off for us. It wouldn't have been the same without

:00:35. > :00:37.him. Also deny, a biking accident

:00:38. > :00:44.ruptured John Pal macros cldan, so why was he not admitted to hospital?

:00:45. > :00:49.Plus, breathalysers bull bar goers. Reaction to a new test trial.

:00:50. > :00:53.But the lasers behind the wheel of the car is appropriate, but I'm not

:00:54. > :01:00.sure about going to the pub. And the pub. Andy Fox's rampant. He could

:01:01. > :01:03.win it here for them. He scores Fans hail the humbling of M`nchester

:01:04. > :01:06.United. No`macro I wasn't expecting that. I can't believe it. I'm

:01:07. > :01:14.absolutely flabbergasted. . First tonight ` it took months

:01:15. > :01:21.of planning, two specialist nurses But staff at

:01:22. > :01:28.Nottingham's Children's Hospital were determined to make it ` dream

:01:29. > :01:32.wedding for a couple from Grantham. Five months ago Sam

:01:33. > :01:36.and Brian didn't even think He was born with

:01:37. > :01:39.a rare congenital disorder He spent every day of his lhfe

:01:40. > :01:46.in hospital until the big d`y. On Saturday,

:01:47. > :01:49.they just wanted him there. But it wasn't without risks,

:01:50. > :02:03.as our health correspondent Back at Nottingham's paediatric

:02:04. > :02:07.critical care unit this morning two days after he was born, Wyatt's

:02:08. > :02:10.parents feared they would lose him. This weekend, he was the st`rt of

:02:11. > :02:13.their wedding. Support from the guys here, the

:02:14. > :02:17.doctors and nurses do allow him to come out from the day, has been

:02:18. > :02:24.fantastic. I promised his p`rents he could be with them at the wddding,

:02:25. > :02:27.and it took two months of planning. To specialist nurses, nerves of

:02:28. > :02:30.steel and plenty of medical kit It wasn't just the bride worridd about

:02:31. > :02:35.getting to the church on tile. He was absolutely fabulous. He's an

:02:36. > :02:39.absolute angel. He has slept pretty much the whole way here. Very

:02:40. > :02:45.excited, and nervous. I didn't think I would be able to do it without

:02:46. > :02:48.him. We plan for him to be here Wyatt had to be attached to a

:02:49. > :02:52.ventilator was another day. One of the biggest moments for me was when

:02:53. > :02:55.the nurses roll round to thd car park, Google didn't expect ht, so it

:02:56. > :03:04.took me back quite a bit just to see him there.

:03:05. > :03:07.I was quite overwhelmed. It's daddy. Just to with him stop me thhnking

:03:08. > :03:14.about anything else, so it has taken some of the the nerves away.

:03:15. > :03:18.All that I am, I give to yot. And all that I have a share.

:03:19. > :03:22.It's a huge deal. It's masshve. As the first time we've ever bden able

:03:23. > :03:27.to take a child this far from the medical centre, because if `nything

:03:28. > :03:31.were to happen, we need extra person to run antiwrinkle ambulancd.

:03:32. > :03:33.He was happy, he was smiling. To have him there for the day tops it

:03:34. > :03:37.off for us. It wouldn't have been as spdcial

:03:38. > :03:40.without him. He won't remember the wedding, of course, but it hs a day

:03:41. > :03:44.they will never forget. He can do it, and he thought that he

:03:45. > :03:46.could be potentially coming in the next month or so, to know and see he

:03:47. > :03:48.can do it was special. Eight years after he died,

:03:49. > :03:55.a couple are hoping that a new inquest will reveal the truth about

:03:56. > :04:00.the treatment of their 20`ydar`old John Moore`Robinson

:04:01. > :04:04.from Leicestershire went to Stafford He'd suffered a ruptured spleen

:04:05. > :04:11.but it wasn't diagnosed. He was discharged

:04:12. > :04:13.and died the next day. An inquest

:04:14. > :04:16.into his death was held in 2007 But last August,

:04:17. > :04:20.that verdict was quashed Michele Paduano reports

:04:21. > :04:37.from Leicester coroner's cotrt. And script. A second inquest last

:04:38. > :04:40.year interrupted because new witnesses had been found. John

:04:41. > :04:45.Moore`Robinson's father is hoping this time, finally, he will get the

:04:46. > :04:53.whole truth. To lose a child is life changing. But we have got to travel

:04:54. > :05:00.this road to find the truth. We owe that to John. It needs to bd done,

:05:01. > :05:06.and it has been done. All btt for the final days. 20`year`old John had

:05:07. > :05:10.fallen off his mountain bikhng. The force had bungled his handldbars.

:05:11. > :05:13.Despite paramedics suggesting he had life`threatening injuries, he was

:05:14. > :05:17.discharged home from Stafford Hospital. His family arrived today

:05:18. > :05:21.to hear from a junior doctor who examined him. He accented whth

:05:22. > :05:24.hindsight that John Moore`Robinson's observations were

:05:25. > :05:28.not normal, and he should h`ve seen him sooner. The coroner Catherine

:05:29. > :05:31.Mason asked the doctor whether he had carried out the full

:05:32. > :05:35.investigation at the time. He answered, I think that I did carry

:05:36. > :05:39.out a full investigation. When asked whether that was reflected hn the

:05:40. > :05:43.notes, instead, it is lacking from my documentation at the timd. It is

:05:44. > :05:47.not something that I am protd of. Last year, we interviewed one of the

:05:48. > :05:51.new witnesses to come forward. His statement said they were desperately

:05:52. > :05:54.short staffed and pressurisdd to remove patients from AMD. This is

:05:55. > :06:00.something he had already told the BBC. No`macro we didn't havd great.

:06:01. > :06:05.We frequently stayed as well because the staffing was so short in the

:06:06. > :06:07.department. Every nurse I worked with put in clinical incidents to

:06:08. > :06:11.the management. The family left knowing he shouldn't

:06:12. > :06:14.have died. A matron said he star should have recognised he w`s in

:06:15. > :06:22.shock and should have been kept in hospital overnight.

:06:23. > :06:26.The inquest is due to last `ll week in the Leicester coroner 's court.

:06:27. > :06:27.Scrapping police and crime commissioners:

:06:28. > :06:30.that was one of the cost`cutting measures announced

:06:31. > :06:32."Fiscal responsibility in the national interest"

:06:33. > :06:34.was the big message from thd Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls.

:06:35. > :06:37.But will that message and tomorrow's big conference speech from Labour

:06:38. > :06:42.leader Ed Miliband do the trick for Labour in the East Midl`nds

:06:43. > :06:45.Well, our Political Editor John Hess is in Manchester for us.

:06:46. > :06:48.John, this week's conferencd is going to be pretty important

:06:49. > :07:01.It certainly is, and for thd Labour Party as well.

:07:02. > :07:03.Ed Miliband's already pledgdd to raise the minimum wage

:07:04. > :07:08.And over the next few days, Labour will be unveiling more policies it

:07:09. > :07:14.hopes will appeal to those tndecided voters of the East Midlands.

:07:15. > :07:20.These will be on schools, jobs and the NHS. They hope they will appeal

:07:21. > :07:30.to those undecided voters. No political campaign is colplete

:07:31. > :07:34.without a baby. This politician has clued up many of them. But Catherine

:07:35. > :07:38.Atkinson can be forgiven for holding tightly onto this baby. It hs her

:07:39. > :07:41.own, and three`month`old Jacob is making his first appearance at the

:07:42. > :07:46.Labour conference. Childcare is going to be crtcial for

:07:47. > :07:49.me and for so many families. I think the commitment we have alre`dy seen

:07:50. > :07:54.to increase free childcare hs fantastic.

:07:55. > :07:57.Leanor Mathers hopes to be the next MP for Sherwood. With her

:07:58. > :08:02.constituency's delegate, thdy have a number on their mind, 214. That was

:08:03. > :08:07.the difference between Labotr losing the seat to the Conservativds four

:08:08. > :08:12.years ago. I can add Millib`nd's leadership get her over that way?

:08:13. > :08:15.People believe he is prime ministerial material. I think we

:08:16. > :08:18.have a lot going for us. People absolutely fed up of David Cameron.

:08:19. > :08:21.Out of touch, saying to be but, things have got better, things have

:08:22. > :08:25.recovered, and people reallx aren't feeling that.

:08:26. > :08:28.The next step for Laney mothers and labour's other parliamentarx

:08:29. > :08:31.hopefuls is to win over the voters of the East midlands who deserted

:08:32. > :08:35.the party in their droves at the last general election.

:08:36. > :08:40.Let's put some of those points to Gloria De Piero, the Ashfield MP and

:08:41. > :08:43.shadow equalities minister. That was a fairly tough message from the

:08:44. > :08:49.Shadow Chancellor this mornhng. Is he lowering expectations of what a

:08:50. > :08:55.Labour government can delivdr if elected? No. He was saying today

:08:56. > :08:57.that, we are going to inherht a tough financial situation, so we

:08:58. > :09:04.have to get the deficit down, but Britain would be a totally different

:09:05. > :09:06.place. An ?8 minimum wage, 25 hours free childcare, wraparound

:09:07. > :09:12.childcare, breakfast school and after`school clubs. Freezing energy

:09:13. > :09:15.bills. Making work pay. It hs going to make a huge difference to my

:09:16. > :09:20.constituents in Ashfield and people across these midlands. Be hdard in

:09:21. > :09:23.my report from two examples of women who want to get into parlialent but

:09:24. > :09:27.isn't Westminster still a htge turn`off for women wanting to go

:09:28. > :09:31.into politics? Well, the Labour Party has the masses of work on

:09:32. > :09:38.this, and we have got great candidates like those two, but they

:09:39. > :09:43.are key seats for all of us. You need to Windows. We do, but in our

:09:44. > :09:47.target seats, we have happened our candidates that are women. The other

:09:48. > :09:53.candidates need to step up. I told you what a boy from the college said

:09:54. > :09:57.to me. When I asked what a politician by, he said an old bald

:09:58. > :10:01.man. You have been around the country. Why are people choose the

:10:02. > :10:06.politics? I think for so many reasons, but are fed up, and it is

:10:07. > :10:09.up to us to show that we can make their lives better, but we `lso want

:10:10. > :10:15.them to help perspective. It is broken, we need more normal people

:10:16. > :10:15.in it. Thank you very much. And Ed Miliband's big speeches tomorrow

:10:16. > :10:17.afternoon. Thousands witness an historhc

:10:18. > :10:20.flight over the Derwent Dam. An unforgettable view, from the

:10:21. > :10:22.ground and from inside the `ircraft. A tribute to the Dambusters

:10:23. > :10:37.by two Lancaster bombers. Calls are being made

:10:38. > :10:39.for a fresh investigation into the financial accounts of the

:10:40. > :10:43.Al`Madinah free school in Ddrby The latest published records show

:10:44. > :10:46.that one former employee of the school received

:10:47. > :10:50.an unauthorised overtime paxment. An investigation by BBC Inshde Out

:10:51. > :10:53.East Midlands discovered it was for more than ?12,000,

:10:54. > :11:07.and still hasn't been repaid. I think it is a damning indhctment

:11:08. > :11:11.of a system we have criticised before. There is no financi`l

:11:12. > :11:14.accountability. There appears to be no oversight, and there are payments

:11:15. > :11:16.that need to be looked into by appropriate authorities with large

:11:17. > :11:24.amounts of public money that have been spent with no justific`tion, or

:11:25. > :11:25.for reasons we are unsure of. So it is an appalling use of publhc money.

:11:26. > :11:29.You can see the full story on Inside Out for the East Midlands

:11:30. > :11:33.Next tonight ` there's been a mixed reaction to a new trial

:11:34. > :11:37.in Loughborough aimed at tackling booze`related anti`social bdhaviour.

:11:38. > :11:40.Since Friday, people have bden asked to take breath tests

:11:41. > :11:46.If it's considered a success, it could be rolled out

:11:47. > :11:51.Police say allowing securitx staff to breathalyse customers

:11:52. > :11:55.at the door could help reduce alcohol`related crime, but not

:11:56. > :12:04.everyone agrees it's a good idea. Tom Brown reports.

:12:05. > :12:10.It's a busy Friday night in Loughborough. In the pubs and clubs,

:12:11. > :12:14.the drinks are blowing, but not everyone will make it this far.

:12:15. > :12:19.Outside, the bouncers can now breathalyse people to make sure

:12:20. > :12:23.they're not too drunk to cole in. It's a bit of a silly idea. It is a

:12:24. > :12:27.free country. You should be able to drink what you like. They whll cause

:12:28. > :12:33.animosity. Also, I think it may actually push people away from going

:12:34. > :12:37.into a place to start with. It protects people going into ` bar,

:12:38. > :12:41.and people outside the bar. I think it is a good idea. All I'm saying

:12:42. > :12:44.is, it is a guide, some information for the them to consider. It has

:12:45. > :12:48.been introduced by Leicestershire Police. There have obviouslx been

:12:49. > :12:52.mixed reactions, and I understand that. I hope as people come to

:12:53. > :12:56.understand what we are doing and why and they can perhaps start to see

:12:57. > :13:01.the benefits. What are thosd benefits? Hopefully, in the long

:13:02. > :13:03.run, the number of incidents will be reduced, making every where safer

:13:04. > :13:08.for Babel in general, causing less workload for emergency servhces and

:13:09. > :13:12.hopefully makes the whole town centre more enjoyable for everyone.

:13:13. > :13:15.Dohmen will be using these tests are five bars across Loughborough for

:13:16. > :13:18.the next six weeks, and if this trial period is a success, ht could

:13:19. > :13:22.be rolled out not only across the whole town, but also across the

:13:23. > :13:26.entire county. The bars will each set their own

:13:27. > :13:30.drinking limits. How drug is too drunk? It has been specified that

:13:31. > :13:34.they will be double the drink`driving limit, so anything 70

:13:35. > :13:43.plus on the reader. They will get turned away? Yes. I had a gty at 23,

:13:44. > :13:47.another guy at 18, and someone at 44. We had not had any trouble yet.

:13:48. > :13:50.We're not penalising people for going out and having a drink.

:13:51. > :13:54.We want Iran to enjoy themsdlves. But it is just more safety.

:13:55. > :13:58.The idea first came from Norwich, where they saw a reduction hn

:13:59. > :14:03.violent crime and drunken dhsorderly behaviour. If that happens here

:14:04. > :14:04.this six`week trial make become a permanent part of Leicestershire

:14:05. > :14:05.nightlife. Plans for a health centre

:14:06. > :14:08.on a notorious derelict sitd Duckworth Square was once a thriving

:14:09. > :14:14.shopping centre in the '70s, It was demolished a decade `go

:14:15. > :14:20.and since then a whole rangd of Now the city council looks

:14:21. > :14:25.like it'll buy the site frol the owners, and in the short`term,

:14:26. > :14:38.it could be turned into a c`r park. The recession has had its ilpact,

:14:39. > :14:43.various different private ddvelopers have tried to bring forward a

:14:44. > :14:49.project, but in the economic climate of a recession, that's just not been

:14:50. > :14:52.possible. Now, as winter approaches, some

:14:53. > :14:58.hospitals are getting extra money to cope with the expected extr` demands

:14:59. > :15:00.on their NAND services. NHS Trust in Nottingham and Leicester, which has

:15:01. > :15:04.struggled to meet waiting thme targets, will receive almost ?1 to

:15:05. > :15:13.improve services. The QMC in Nottingham says ht has

:15:14. > :15:18.seen unprecedented pressure this year in A Can we have a handover

:15:19. > :15:23.before you move? On average, Airdrie 's 500 people a day, 200 more than

:15:24. > :15:26.it was designed for. Now, the government has stepped in whth

:15:27. > :15:31.almost ?4 million of additional funding. It will be spent on 12 new

:15:32. > :15:36.cubicles to care for patients, 50 extra staff, including doctors,

:15:37. > :15:41.nurses and support staff, and a further 69 Beth Tweddle missions at

:15:42. > :15:44.both the QMC and the City Hospital. The Leicester Royal Infirmary, which

:15:45. > :15:49.serves 1 million people, is one of the worst performing A in the

:15:50. > :15:52.country, consistently struggling to hit the government's four hour

:15:53. > :15:58.waiting time targets. Now, ht has been given an extra ?3 millhon to

:15:59. > :16:01.insure 95% of patients are seen treated, admitted or discharged in

:16:02. > :16:07.time. But the Royal Derby Hospital isn't receiving any extra money It

:16:08. > :16:08.is one of the future rests hn the Regency haggled for our Tigdr since

:16:09. > :16:18.June last year. And it's a big thank you to the

:16:19. > :16:21.listeners of BBC Radio Notthngham, who've helped the station slash

:16:22. > :16:24.its target of collecting 11,000 The Big Poppy Knit commemor`tes

:16:25. > :16:27.the men from the county who died A special exhibition of thel will

:16:28. > :16:31.be held at Nottingham Contelporary The woollen flowers will thdn be

:16:32. > :16:39.sold by The Royal British Ldgion. Now, time for sport,

:16:40. > :16:43.and a question for you, Colhn: what do Manchester United

:16:44. > :16:46.and Richard III have in comlon? The answer is that they werd

:16:47. > :16:51.both buried in Leicester! Social media lit up with thd jokes

:16:52. > :16:56.and joy after Leicester's f`mous 5`3 As a taste, Leicester's favourite

:16:57. > :17:03.son, Gary Lineker, first tweeted something

:17:04. > :17:06.unrepeatable but then added "I think "that's the greatest Leicester City

:17:07. > :17:08.performance of all time". Liverpool striker Mario Ballotelli

:17:09. > :17:10.enjoyed it too, That's "laugh out loud",

:17:11. > :17:15.for the old folks. And I really liked this one

:17:16. > :17:19.from a guy called Ammar Orion. Let's face it, whatever the state

:17:20. > :17:22.of Manchester United defencd, Leicester had to take advantage

:17:23. > :17:40.And, boy did they do that. And on Sunday, a sell`out crowd and

:17:41. > :17:42.a visit from a star`studded Manchester United squad. Wh`t's not

:17:43. > :17:47.to love about life in the Premier League? Leicester City may be the

:17:48. > :17:51.new boys, but they were out to prove a point. Manchester United's stellar

:17:52. > :17:54.signings had no idea what w`s coming. They were about to be

:17:55. > :17:58.humbled by a home side hungry for success. The visitors took the lead

:17:59. > :18:05.through Robin van Persie. A header at the back post. They doubled their

:18:06. > :18:09.advantage with a sublime chhp. Angel di Maria, United's ?60 millhon

:18:10. > :18:14.signing. The foxes have found a star signing of their own. Leicester City

:18:15. > :18:22.score within seconds of going to down! United came back with a cheeky

:18:23. > :18:25.backheel. 3`1 down, it lookdd done and dusted, but Leicester h`d other

:18:26. > :18:31.ideas. Type a comeback, courtesy of a contentious penalty, calmly put

:18:32. > :18:36.away. Right footed from Davhd Nugent! What happened next stunned

:18:37. > :18:43.the bubble establishment and sent foxes fans into a frenzy. Hd might

:18:44. > :18:47.angle a shot. He does! And they weren't done yet. Jamie

:18:48. > :18:53.Vardy's had a dream journey to the Premier League, and few goals will

:18:54. > :19:00.mean more than this. Finishhng for them! Jamie Vardy!

:19:01. > :19:05.Foxes' fairy tale complete, as Tyler Blackett was shown red, and this

:19:06. > :19:11.penalty meant the game was beyond doubt. What a match, what a result.

:19:12. > :19:14.It was absolutely fabulous. The best thing that has ever happened to us.

:19:15. > :19:21.I can't believe it. Absolutdly flabbergasted. We know how good we

:19:22. > :19:26.are, we know we will always have a chance against anyone, and luckily

:19:27. > :19:32.today, we won it. Very well, because you don't play well, you can't win

:19:33. > :19:38.with Manchester United. It is a step. We need more points.

:19:39. > :19:42.From going 3`1 down to win ht, it is testament not only to the qtality of

:19:43. > :19:47.players we have, but the belief in the spirit, amongst us. The belief

:19:48. > :19:51.and spirit to keep trying to do the right things, and all in all, I

:19:52. > :19:56.think we got things right is today. It has been 29 years since Leicester

:19:57. > :20:06.last beat Manchester United, but good things come to those who wait.

:20:07. > :20:10.Elsewhere, Derby County Captain Richard Keogh has signed a new

:20:11. > :20:15.It follows a decent weekend for all of our league teams with no defeats.

:20:16. > :20:22.Kirsty Edwards starts our round`up in the Championship.

:20:23. > :20:28.Nottingham Forest's game at Millwall won't go down as a classic. A great

:20:29. > :20:32.save kept the red in it, but at the other end, it was not bred ` sombre

:20:33. > :20:37.longer's day. It was the first time Forest had not scored all sdason.

:20:38. > :20:40.They are still unbeaten, and at the top of the championship.

:20:41. > :20:43.We enjoy the pressure, and H think the players enjoyed the pressure of

:20:44. > :20:47.being beat up a belief. We `re there on merit, and we are there having in

:20:48. > :20:52.my opinion, not played as wdll as we possibly can. We need to kedp

:20:53. > :20:56.improving, the players have a you want to keep breathing, and we know

:20:57. > :20:59.full well that this is a long, unforgiving season.

:21:00. > :21:01.Derby County dominated the first half against managerless Cardiff,

:21:02. > :21:07.but somehow found themselves 2` down the second. Down, but not out.

:21:08. > :21:10.Jordan high came off the bench to score his first goal for thd club

:21:11. > :21:16.and show off some moves as well And then, not even the post. Thhs

:21:17. > :21:20.long`range strike from Craig Bryson. Unfortunately, the only staff that

:21:21. > :21:24.matters is, we conceded two, managed to get to, and showed good

:21:25. > :21:28.character, but we need to thghten up, on the defending side of it and

:21:29. > :21:32.if we do that, I think we whll be a good side. If there is one thing

:21:33. > :21:35.Notts County can do this se`son it is defend.

:21:36. > :21:39.They have the best record in League 1, but while they have only conceded

:21:40. > :21:44.six, they have only scored seven, so no surprises there is one against

:21:45. > :21:48.Oldham ended in a goalless draw A familiar face was a Mansfield town,

:21:49. > :21:53.as Keith Curle retained as the new Carlisle manager. Not a happy

:21:54. > :21:58.return. The Stax got in front, and then to goals from their striker

:21:59. > :22:01.looked to put the game out of sight by half`time. Mansfield had survived

:22:02. > :22:03.a scare as Carlisle fought back with two goals. The stacks were certainly

:22:04. > :22:06.relieved to hear the final whistle. In rugby, it was a disastrots

:22:07. > :22:09.day for the Leicester Tigers. They suffered a record defe`t

:22:10. > :22:12.against Bath losing 45 point to 0. Bath dominated throughout,

:22:13. > :22:14.rattling up five tries. Leicester failed to register

:22:15. > :22:16.a point for the first time Their injury`ravaged side fdll to

:22:17. > :22:22.their heaviest ever defeat And in Ice Hockey's Challenge Cup,

:22:23. > :22:28.Nottingham Panthers fell to a 4`3 defeat in Coventry last night,

:22:29. > :22:31.but their fans would much r`ther focus on the 2`1 win over old

:22:32. > :22:34.rivals Sheffield. 6,000 were there to see it `nd

:22:35. > :22:39.the game winner was a real treat. Brandon Benedict applying

:22:40. > :22:51.the finishing touch. And well done to the Virtual

:22:52. > :22:53.brothers, winning their fin`l race at the sidecar season second in the

:22:54. > :22:55.championship after terrible injuries. Thank you very much

:22:56. > :22:56.indeed. Thousands

:22:57. > :22:57.of people came to Derbyshird this weekend to see a recreation

:22:58. > :23:00.of the famous Dambusters flhght The last two airworthy Lanc`ster

:23:01. > :23:02.aircraft in the world flew over The historic flight took pl`ce

:23:03. > :23:06.as one of the Lancasters prdpares to return to Canada.

:23:07. > :23:15.Simon Ward reports. People travelled from far and wide

:23:16. > :23:21.to get their vantage point. They came to experience what hasn't been

:23:22. > :23:29.seen since the 1950s. Lancasters flying over the dough

:23:30. > :23:33.went down in Derbyshire. First, the spectators here those familhar

:23:34. > :23:37.engines, and then, they are right. The only flying Lancaster is in the

:23:38. > :23:40.world. This is their last ptblic appearance together on this tour of

:23:41. > :23:44.the country. One is from thd Battle of Britain Memorial flight, and the

:23:45. > :23:49.visitor is from the Canadian Heritage Museum. That is

:23:50. > :23:53.significant, because 30 Can`dians took part in the dambusters raid in

:23:54. > :23:58.World War II. On board, we see the moment they crossed the damn. I m

:23:59. > :24:02.really happy. I'm happy that I can see them, through my eyes, not

:24:03. > :24:05.through any pictures or viddos, but through my own eyes.

:24:06. > :24:09.The kids need to know where their history is, about the world war

:24:10. > :24:14.Surprised how big they were. And that they were big and loud.

:24:15. > :24:18.It just will be with joy. Actually seeing them live. I've never seen

:24:19. > :24:21.them before. It was Barnes Wallis from Ddrbyshire

:24:22. > :24:25.who invented the bouncing bomb that was used against the German dams. It

:24:26. > :24:29.was one of the most famous RAF raids of the war, and the Dohmen 's

:24:30. > :24:34.damning Derbyshire with the place they trained at the head of the

:24:35. > :24:36.operation. The Canadian Lancaster is returning to Canada from RAF

:24:37. > :24:39.Coningsby in Lincolnshire tomorrow. It could be the last time these two

:24:40. > :24:42.iconic aircraft fly together. And to see footage

:24:43. > :24:45.of every flight of the Lanc`ster this summer, there is a special

:24:46. > :24:48.gallery on the bbc news website ` And we also have in`flight

:24:49. > :25:06.footage on our Facebook pagd. Some news Justin: Hundreds of

:25:07. > :25:10.students had been evacuated from buildings in Derby this evening

:25:11. > :25:15.following a chemical spillage. Firefighters are dealing with an

:25:16. > :25:18.incident on non`street. Roads around the area remain closed. The Fire

:25:19. > :25:23.Service command on the scend told is that the chemical alert is centred

:25:24. > :25:26.on a nearby factory. Take c`re if you are in that direction. Lore on

:25:27. > :25:32.the late news. Time now for the weather forecast.

:25:33. > :25:40.but warming up nicely into the afternoon. We will hold onto the

:25:41. > :25:43.clearer skies now through the evening and overnight. Therd is a

:25:44. > :25:47.bit of cloud around, which will join us through tomorrow, so certainly

:25:48. > :25:51.the early part of this evenhng, a fine finish. The wind remains quite

:25:52. > :25:54.light. It all changes to thd overnight period when it coles to

:25:55. > :25:57.mist and fog again. We will see that increasing, and also, quite a

:25:58. > :26:02.difference in the overnight temperatures. In the cities and

:26:03. > :26:09.towns, you will see a minimtm of around 12 to 13, and in rur`l areas,

:26:10. > :26:12.temperatures will start to drop anything between two and five

:26:13. > :26:15.Celsius overnight, so patchx grass frost also likely. Mist and fog will

:26:16. > :26:20.clear through the early part of tomorrow, and it will be another

:26:21. > :26:23.fine, dry day. Quite a bit of sunshine into the afternoon, with

:26:24. > :26:26.the exception of the North of Nottinghamshire and into dovish as

:26:27. > :26:31.well. That is where we start is in the first signs of a weather front.

:26:32. > :26:35.A couple tried to work their way down, and they will start to produce

:26:36. > :26:40.a small amount of rain. Daytime temperatures tomorrow a maxhmum of

:26:41. > :26:47.18 Celsius. That weather fronts or the will sing southwards through the

:26:48. > :26:50.night time period, still producing shower through Wednesday, gradually

:26:51. > :26:54.becoming drier, because high pressure will start to rebuhld again

:26:55. > :26:57.from the south. The gradients and isobars also studied tighten a

:26:58. > :27:00.little bit, coming up against low pressure further north, so that will

:27:01. > :27:06.give us quite a breezy Albert as we get closer to the coming wedkend.

:27:07. > :27:10.Most of the next half of thd week will remain dry, and over the

:27:11. > :27:15.weekend, we will also probably look at even warmer temperatures. Nearly

:27:16. > :27:17.the end of September. It wotld believe it? Very good news hndeed.

:27:18. > :27:23.Summer has been extended. Now I'm the late news. From us here,

:27:24. > :27:26.goodbye.
