:00:30. > :00:34.meant the 20`year`old's injtry after a bike accident wasn't diagnosed.

:00:38. > :00:40.John Moore`Robinson was in the wrong place at the wrong
:00:41. > :00:43.time, 50 miles away from his home at Sileby in Leicestershire.
:00:44. > :00:47.He'd gone mountain biking when he came off the bike at Cannock Chase.
:00:48. > :00:49.He was taken to the troubled Stafford Hospital.
:00:50. > :00:52.There they didn't diagnose his ruptured spleen.
:00:53. > :00:56.He been discharged from hospital vomiting,
:00:57. > :01:03.They called John the big gentle giant.
:01:04. > :01:10.His family had to go to the High Court to get this second inpuest.
:01:11. > :01:14.To lose a loved one is the lost difficult life event we will all
:01:15. > :01:18.face, but to go through this grief and their death be surrounddd
:01:19. > :01:23.by lies and deceit to cover up the poor care they received is
:01:24. > :01:31.We had to walk this path together to get justice for John and to make
:01:32. > :01:38.The South Leicestershire Coroner, Catherine Mason, found a series of
:01:39. > :02:01.Stafford Hospital at the tile was in meltdown.
:02:02. > :02:04.It's obvious now ` low staffing levels...
:02:05. > :02:08.It was just an appalling hospital and lots of people suffered and
:02:09. > :02:15.Stafford Hospital today said sorry, knowing the 20`year`old's lhfe
:02:16. > :02:21.This former consultant told me he had tried to get
:02:22. > :02:27.I hammered and hammered and hammered and hammered, to try to get changes
:02:28. > :02:34.John was a lad that worked hard and played hard and he loved life,
:02:35. > :02:42.and that was denied him by incompetent people.
:02:43. > :02:45.As we've been hearing, todax saw an a historic vote for militarx action
:02:46. > :02:48.against the Islamic State ` IS, and it's now clear that
:02:49. > :02:51.a substantial cross`party m`jority of East Midland MPs backed British
:02:52. > :02:55.But some of our most senior parliamentarians
:02:56. > :02:59.warned of consequences and the need for a clear exit strategy.

:03:44. > :03:46.and politically, including with help in the region.
:03:47. > :03:50.Could he say something about how we need to also ddfeat
:03:51. > :03:56.Which countries are supporthng Isil, including by purchasing oil,
:03:57. > :04:00.and what is the British Govdrnment and others going to do about it
:04:01. > :04:03.Certainly I shall support this motion, because some of our best
:04:04. > :04:06.allies are taking part in this intervention, but I still think we
:04:07. > :04:13.are at the early stages of working out exactly where we're going.
:04:14. > :04:17.The threat is not from a rogue state or a vicious dictator.
:04:18. > :04:21.It's from a poisonous, viral movement which is cutting
:04:22. > :04:27.a swathe of grisly barbaritx across the region from Syria to Ir`q.
:04:28. > :04:30.Some MPs have sought the vidws of their local voters beford
:04:31. > :04:35.Well, the poll organised by the local paper showed therd was a
:04:36. > :04:39.majority of two to one in f`vour of taking military action againt Isil,
:04:40. > :04:42.but the people who have contacted me directly, there is a majority of
:04:43. > :04:46.probably four to one against military action. And
:04:47. > :04:51.in the House of Lords, a warning about home`grown jihadi fighters.
:04:52. > :04:55.In Derby, where I work, there are at least 20 people, probablx more,
:04:56. > :05:04.But besides fighters, your Lordships may or may not be
:05:05. > :05:10.aware there is also also an appeal from Isis paramedhcs, for
:05:11. > :05:13.teachers, for people to help build what they think is a good society.
:05:14. > :05:15.Parliament may have rejected military action against Syrha
:05:16. > :05:19.a year ago, but one year on and the mood is very different, and sombre.

:05:22. > :05:30.A fire service today made ftrther frontline cuts `
:05:31. > :05:34.axing two appliances and 32 full` and part`time posts.
:05:35. > :05:36.Members of the Fire Brigades Union protested outside
:05:37. > :05:39.the headquarters of Nottinghamshire Fire Service.
:05:40. > :05:43.They claim the cuts ` affecting Beeston and Mansfield ` are putting
:05:44. > :05:49.But the fire authority says with fewer calls`out, they can cope.
:05:50. > :05:51.Today we are removing our first full`time appliance,
:05:52. > :05:58.We can keep cutting and cutting and cutting, but at the end of the day,
:05:59. > :06:01.we do have to be more imaginative, and I feel we've got to a shtuation
:06:02. > :06:04.where I feel comfortable with the resources we've got, but if we
:06:05. > :06:08.started removing some more, I would have difficulties.
:06:09. > :06:11.A strike by maintenance staff at East Midlands Trains that was due
