:00:14. > :00:20.Both their sons were stabbed to death in Leicester and both are

:00:21. > :00:31.backing a new amnesty. If you carry a knife, there are consequences. I

:00:51. > :00:57.a new cloud funded film about the beast of Bolsover. I believe that we

:00:58. > :00:59.have to look after those people that haven't got two hate me is to rub

:01:00. > :01:08.together. -- ha'pennies. Good evening and welcome

:01:09. > :01:10.to the programme with Dominic Heale First tonight, they've borne

:01:11. > :01:13.the same indescribable loss - Now two mothers of young men stabbed

:01:14. > :01:18.to death in Leicester have spoken out in support

:01:19. > :01:24.of the city's knife amnesty. The month-long campaign -

:01:25. > :01:26.which began today - is part of new efforts to stem

:01:27. > :01:30.the rising number of in a moment but first the women tell

:01:31. > :01:36.us why NO mother should EVER suffer I really, really,

:01:37. > :01:43.really, really miss you. Three years after her son's death,

:01:44. > :01:49.Cheryl Armatrading says the pain isn't easing -

:01:50. > :01:52.it's getting worse. 20-year-old Antoin Akpom had been

:01:53. > :01:55.planning his future. He'd set up his own business,

:01:56. > :01:58.secured a job teaching football in America,

:01:59. > :02:02.and he was coaching in the UK. Then, in September 2013,

:02:03. > :02:09.that all stopped. He died from a single stab wound

:02:10. > :02:13.on Kent Street in Leicester. Children that he taught,

:02:14. > :02:20.if it affected people Children that he taught,

:02:21. > :02:21.it affected people When he set up a business to help

:02:22. > :02:26.others, that's no longer there. There's a role model that's taken

:02:27. > :02:29.away in less than a minute, Someone who understands

:02:30. > :02:41.is Amy Morgan, her 16-year-old son Tyler Thompson was stabbed to death

:02:42. > :02:44.on Leicester's Freeman Road North. One of 900 knife incidents

:02:45. > :02:48.in the county last year. That figure's up by a third

:02:49. > :02:51.on the year before. To bury your own child,

:02:52. > :03:00.there's no words for it. I won't be able to watch him grow

:03:01. > :03:04.up, he won't be able to achieve... just because somebody

:03:05. > :03:05.decided to use a knife. There's no changing anything,

:03:06. > :03:11.and you just literally have to live Two mothers sharing their loss

:03:12. > :03:17.and sharing a new goal - For me, it's about looking at,

:03:18. > :03:28.why is it happening? Not just putting a plaster

:03:29. > :03:30.on when it happened, but putting prevention

:03:31. > :03:34.measures into place. It's simple, do not carry

:03:35. > :03:37.a knife, because if you're not going to use it yourself,

:03:38. > :03:39.it might be turned And then it'll be your mum

:03:40. > :03:43.or siblings that are getting that news that they are never

:03:44. > :03:46.going to see you again. Listen to a mother's cry,

:03:47. > :03:49.look around - lots of people no Listen to a mother's cry,

:03:50. > :03:52.look around - lots of people know friends that have been stabbed,

:03:53. > :03:55.friends that have been lost through knife crime -

:03:56. > :03:57.and think about the emotions that they felt at that

:03:58. > :03:59.time when it happened. That's what you'll be

:04:00. > :04:01.doing to somebody else. We've just seen two very

:04:02. > :04:03.powerful interviews there Talking to me now about the knife

:04:04. > :04:07.amnesty being run by Leicestershire Police

:04:08. > :04:08.is Inspector Simon Preston. Just start by telling me,

:04:09. > :04:13.why has the number of people caught carrying knives in Leicestershire

:04:14. > :04:15.increased in the past year I think it just goes to show

:04:16. > :04:20.the proactive work that we are doing to try to reduce knife crime and

:04:21. > :04:23.reduce the impact of knife crime. We all know what a devastating

:04:24. > :04:26.effect knife crime has. We need to do all we can to take

:04:27. > :04:30.knives off the street and certainly catching people with knives,

:04:31. > :04:32.recovering them, is one We've seen you hold

:04:33. > :04:36.knife amnesties before. How likely are they to

:04:37. > :04:38.actually work, though? How likely is it that this one

:04:39. > :04:41.is going to be effective? Well, I'm not going to stand

:04:42. > :04:44.here and say that I expect us to recover hundreds

:04:45. > :04:46.and hundreds of knives. It's a way of us raising awareness,

:04:47. > :04:50.it's starting a conversation, it's hopefully taking some knives

:04:51. > :04:53.off the street, and any offence that we prevent by taking one

:04:54. > :04:56.knife off the street We really are trying

:04:57. > :05:01.to promote his message that lives We'll have more on this story

:05:02. > :05:11.tonight on BBC One at 10:25. New research by scientists

:05:12. > :05:13.in the East Midlands suggests a hormone measured in a woman's hair

:05:14. > :05:16.can affect the success of some Nurture fertility asked

:05:17. > :05:24.the university of nottingham to compare levels of the stress

:05:25. > :05:39.hormone cortisol as our health You can tell a lot from a few

:05:40. > :05:44.strands of hair. It's been shown to contain one of the hormones,

:05:45. > :05:48.cortisol, that's important in regulating fertility. One centimetre

:05:49. > :05:51.of hair can tell you about the levels of cortisol that have been in

:05:52. > :05:57.circulation in the previous month. What we found was that cortisol,

:05:58. > :06:00.measured in the three months prior to starting IVF, predicted the

:06:01. > :06:04.likelihood of women becoming pregnant. Such that women who had

:06:05. > :06:09.higher levels of this hormone in their hair were much less likely to

:06:10. > :06:12.become pregnant. Here at the University of Nottingham, this is

:06:13. > :06:15.something of a world first. Although cortisol levels in human hair have

:06:16. > :06:22.been looked at before, it hasn't been done in relation to IVF. The

:06:23. > :06:25.major fertility clinic in Derbyshire funded the University of Nottingham

:06:26. > :06:30.research. Our success rates are high already, we're looking at 60 to 70%

:06:31. > :06:36.pregnancy rate. In the patients with normal cortisol levels, we saw that

:06:37. > :06:40.rate. With higher levels, the pregnancy rate fell to around 40%.

:06:41. > :06:43.There was no other explanation. We looked at factors such as age or the

:06:44. > :06:46.number of eggs, really important predictors, they were not as

:06:47. > :06:51.powerful as the cortisol measurements in the hair. That is

:06:52. > :06:56.really interesting. Joanne has had ABF -- IVF and has eight-year-old

:06:57. > :07:00.Reggie. IVF is very stressful because the main thing you have to

:07:01. > :07:03.have is hope. It is ultimately the thing that can also drive you

:07:04. > :07:08.crackers. Anything that can lower your stress levels is always a

:07:09. > :07:13.bonus. Sarah turned to acupuncture to relieve stress. She now has two

:07:14. > :07:19.children, but it was seven cycles of IVF. Total, utter, emotional

:07:20. > :07:24.roller-coaster. You start thinking, I'm going to get the baby out of

:07:25. > :07:28.this, and then I went for scams and realised I haven't got as many eggs

:07:29. > :07:32.as I thought there'd be or there wasn't as many follicles, so you

:07:33. > :07:36.think, OK, that's reducing my chances. The high cortisol levels

:07:37. > :07:40.might not be all down to stress. The researchers wanted to do a bigger

:07:41. > :07:46.study. We've done a really small study on a sample of just under 90

:07:47. > :07:48.women. We want to do is work again. We are actively seeking

:07:49. > :07:52.collaboration now with clinics and patients.

:07:53. > :07:56.We're in the swim with the amazing Hayley.

:07:57. > :07:58.A paralympic prospect - despite putting her health

:07:59. > :08:09.on the line every time she gets in the pool.

:08:10. > :08:11.The University of Nottingham has asked for a full report

:08:12. > :08:14.from its Students Union after a team taking part in a pub crawl

:08:15. > :08:17.appeared to dress up as victims of the Alton Tower's rollercoaster

:08:18. > :08:25.The students made their fancy dress outfits for the annual fundraising

:08:26. > :08:29.event and posed for photos for a student news website.

:08:30. > :08:32.They've apologised unreservedly for any offence or distress they may

:08:33. > :08:35.have unwittingly caused to the teenagers who had legs

:08:36. > :08:40.amputated following last year's Smiler ride accident.

:08:41. > :08:42.I think what a lot of other people think,

:08:43. > :08:44.and that is that they were trying to portray it.

:08:45. > :08:47.They came out saying it was a traditional costume,

:08:48. > :08:53.but it's not traditional to have mutated legs attached to it,

:08:54. > :08:57.So the poll asked people if they thought it was

:08:58. > :08:59.offensive or not - just a simple yes/no question -

:09:00. > :09:04.Campaigners fighting to have Grantham A re-opened overnight,

:09:05. > :09:07.say they've had a productive meeting with the Health Secretary.

:09:08. > :09:11.Opening hours have been reduced because of a shortage of doctors.

:09:12. > :09:14.The town's MP and six campaigners met Jeremy Hunt last night.

:09:15. > :09:18.They say he assured them that the A will not close,

:09:19. > :09:20.and that he would raise their concerns with

:09:21. > :09:27.It's now well over a year since lines 2 and 3 of the Nottingham tram

:09:28. > :09:33.And the problems during construction may seem like a distant memory.

:09:34. > :09:38.But today, it's emerged that councils paid almost ?3.5 million

:09:39. > :09:40.to help businesses stay afloat during the works.

:09:41. > :09:47.For months on end, it was chaos on the Chilwell high road.

:09:48. > :09:51.Now, more than a year has passed since the tramline opened,

:09:52. > :09:53.but the businesses will never forget the destruction.

:09:54. > :09:57.People couldn't get here, so they just didn't come,

:09:58. > :10:00.they couldn't park, people sometimes couldn't get into the shops.

:10:01. > :10:03.There was a great big hole outside our shop at one stage.

:10:04. > :10:05.Takings dropped by probably half and now they've

:10:06. > :10:08.dropped by three quarters, I think.

:10:09. > :10:12.There's just nobody coming in, hardly.

:10:13. > :10:14.In all, 128 businesses received financial support, and today we can

:10:15. > :10:21.reveal how much taxpayers' money was needed to keep them afloat.

:10:22. > :10:24.Nottinghamshire County Council gave ?1.33 million to shops

:10:25. > :10:26.and cafes in Beeston, and that figure was matched

:10:27. > :10:31.The city also paid around three quarters of a million

:10:32. > :10:33.to businesses in Clifton, meaning the total amount spent

:10:34. > :10:40.For many of the shops and cafes around here,

:10:41. > :10:42.this money wasn't compensation, and without it they'd

:10:43. > :10:47.Some are still struggling, and two businesses told me that,

:10:48. > :10:51.after much heartache, they are now selling up.

:10:52. > :10:53.The Cameron House Shop moved seven weeks ago,

:10:54. > :10:59.We had no options during the tram work.

:11:00. > :11:02.We had to literally stand there and try and trade

:11:03. > :11:05.on a building site, so we didn't have compensation.

:11:06. > :11:07.The financial assistance was to assist us to keep trading

:11:08. > :11:09.during the tram works, so there's no compensation been

:11:10. > :11:18.offered or ever will be offered, unfortunately.

:11:19. > :11:21.A lot of time in shopping areas, you do have a high

:11:22. > :11:25.With the financial assistance package, we were able to help

:11:26. > :11:27.businesses through that long period of construction,

:11:28. > :11:30.but there will always be certain changes in terms of the shops

:11:31. > :11:35.The figures released today have reignited the debate

:11:36. > :11:36.about the success of Nottingham's tram extension.

:11:37. > :11:39.Studies show there are now fewer empty shop fronts in Beeston,

:11:40. > :12:03.but other areas may never see the benefit.

:12:04. > :12:07.Charnwood Borough Council is discussing introducing a public

:12:08. > :12:12.space protection order for Bradgate Park. The orders are used to deal

:12:13. > :12:17.with anti-social behaviour and could see pet owners hit with a ?100 on

:12:18. > :12:23.the spot fine, as Amy Harris reports. Bradgate Park is a jewel in

:12:24. > :12:27.Leicestershire's crown, but protecting the vast and varied

:12:28. > :12:33.landscape and its wildlife is becoming challenging. Patrolling the

:12:34. > :12:38.830 acres of public land are Rangers like Matt. Today, assisted by Holly.

:12:39. > :12:44.And they have their work cut out. With an increase in dog fouling,

:12:45. > :12:48.dear chasing and littering. It is totally unacceptable, really. It's

:12:49. > :12:55.just spoiling it for everybody. They come to enjoy the park. It shouldn't

:12:56. > :12:58.be like that. It's just irresponsible dog ownership.

:12:59. > :13:01.Bradgate Park is one of Leicestershire's best loved beauty

:13:02. > :13:05.spots and those in charge want to keep it that way. Charnwood Borough

:13:06. > :13:10.Council looks set to approve a public spaces protection order for

:13:11. > :13:14.the park and nearby wood. It targets dog owners who fail to clear up

:13:15. > :13:20.after their pets or keep them under control. The order updates existing

:13:21. > :13:23.bylaws and comes after trial restrictions were introduced in

:13:24. > :13:30.June. Now, those who break the rules could face a ?100 on the spot fine.

:13:31. > :13:35.We realise that a lot of good dog owners out there are very

:13:36. > :13:39.responsible, so we're not expecting a big enforcement activity, and

:13:40. > :13:43.these controls are brought in place to try to control people and make

:13:44. > :13:47.sure everyone can enjoy the park. It's a good idea, especially with

:13:48. > :13:51.young children around. The last thing you want is then walking

:13:52. > :13:54.through it. The park is a wonderful place to come and people should

:13:55. > :14:00.respect it. They shouldn't just assume they can do as they like. I

:14:01. > :14:04.don't know whether it's enforceable, the park wardens, who would take

:14:05. > :14:07.control of that. Enforcing the order may be difficult, but those in

:14:08. > :14:10.charge of the threat of the find will encourage the minority of dog

:14:11. > :14:16.owners to follow the majority's lead.

:14:17. > :14:19.Prince Harry is to pay another visit to Nottingham, focusing on youth

:14:20. > :14:22.His return to the city next Wednesday will be his fifth

:14:23. > :14:26.He'll tour the Ice Centre and the Full Effect recording studio

:14:27. > :14:28.before officially re-opening a police station where

:14:29. > :14:52.The council was to help tackle anti-social behaviour. It has

:14:53. > :14:55.attracted a lot of criticism from the public, with many saying the

:14:56. > :15:01.homeless are being targeted by the order. Richard Davis has more.

:15:02. > :15:06.This part in West Bridgeford is one of the places that the public space

:15:07. > :15:13.protection order will be enforced. It will allow officers to issue ?100

:15:14. > :15:16.fixed penalty notices to those causing anti-social behaviour, and

:15:17. > :15:22.rough sleepers. It has angered many who feel it targets the homeless.

:15:23. > :15:26.Vicky Turton has set up a position in the hope of preventing it coming

:15:27. > :15:30.into effect. Defining the one people in Nottinghamshire who cannot pay a

:15:31. > :15:34.fine is not the answer. They won't pay it, they want benefit from it.

:15:35. > :15:38.If anything, it will drag them away from society and seeking help. The

:15:39. > :15:41.policy has been approved by councillors and will apply to these

:15:42. > :15:45.areas in the borough. In a statement in response to the petition and

:15:46. > :16:10.recent criticism, the authority says...

:16:11. > :16:17.But Nottinghamshire homeless charity Framework say it's a step in the

:16:18. > :16:21.wrong direction. Gower we don't agree with the decision to try to

:16:22. > :16:26.criminalise homeless people and take the first step into intervening with

:16:27. > :16:30.them through enforcement. Offenders could be fined if they don't use

:16:31. > :16:33.recommended support services or later prosecuted. The council has

:16:34. > :16:41.not said when the audible comment, but it is expected sometime soon.

:16:42. > :16:46.There is quite a lively debate about this on our Facebook page.

:16:47. > :16:47.All sorts on our Facebook page, have a look.

:16:48. > :16:58.Still to come,... Dennis Skinner has seen a fair few dramas in his time

:16:59. > :17:00.and now he is the subject of a new film that has been two years in the

:17:01. > :17:12.making. We have a little clip of that. More

:17:13. > :17:15.drama now, possibly... Usually, in football.

:17:16. > :17:18.First tonight: The Nottingham Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi says he's

:17:19. > :17:20.consulting his legal team after allegations he demanded

:17:21. > :17:22.huge payments as part of any potential takeover.

:17:23. > :17:25.Al Hasawi has said the article - published in a national

:17:26. > :17:31.The article also claimed some players were threatening a revolt

:17:32. > :17:35.But today club captain Chris Cohen told us the players never considered

:17:36. > :17:44.it and any payment issues will be resolved.

:17:45. > :17:46.There's been issues a couple of times since I've been

:17:47. > :17:49.here and they always get sorted out, as they will be this

:17:50. > :17:57.As I said, you don't want it to happen and you don't want...

:17:58. > :18:00.You'd rather everything run completely smoothly,

:18:01. > :18:03.but they are small issues and talk of a players' revolt

:18:04. > :18:05.or whatever it was - if that's going to

:18:06. > :18:15.Well, it really was an insightful interview with Cohen.

:18:16. > :18:20.You can watch the whole thing on our BBC Nottingham Sport Facebook page.

:18:21. > :18:24.Onto Leicester City and what a few days for manager Claudio Ranieri.

:18:25. > :18:27.This week Leicester became one of just three teams

:18:28. > :18:34.in the Champions League to take 9 points out on 9 in the competition.

:18:35. > :18:37.in the Champions League to take 9 points out of 9 in the competition.

:18:38. > :18:41.The other two sides are Athletico Madrid and Barcelona.

:18:42. > :18:44.It's also his 65th birthday today but plans to retire

:18:45. > :18:57.At Derby County, after a period of poor form manager Steve McClaren

:18:58. > :19:01.says it's important his player don't feel scared and play without fear.

:19:02. > :19:06.Had two games in charge - including the Rams first home win

:19:07. > :19:08.in the league this season - and McClaren says his

:19:09. > :19:17.priority is to restore the players confidence.

:19:18. > :19:19.You know, the biggest word we've used with

:19:20. > :19:25.You've not won for six months - courage - go out and play in front

:19:26. > :19:27.of 30,000 people and we'll take responsibility for mistakes

:19:28. > :19:30.because that's the one thing when you do play that style -

:19:31. > :19:36.you're going to make mistakes, but you can't let that affect you.

:19:37. > :19:37.And congratulations to Alfreton Town.

:19:38. > :19:42.They claimed the final place in the first round proper

:19:43. > :19:45.They beat Gateshead 3-2 in extra time.

:19:46. > :19:50.Their reward - a home tie against Newport next month.

:19:51. > :19:53.Now, if there's one thing all swimmers know, it's how much

:19:54. > :19:56.time and energy goes into the sheer hard slog of producing winners.

:19:57. > :19:59.And we've been pretty good at it in the East Midlands

:20:00. > :20:03.over recent years - Becky Adlington and Adam Peaty are

:20:04. > :20:10.And now there's a young prospect for the Paralympics who may just

:20:11. > :20:15.be the next big thing, as Ed Collard's been finding out.

:20:16. > :20:20.Training time for Grantham's young swimming stars -

:20:21. > :20:26.all wearing the regulation club cap with one notable exception -

:20:27. > :20:35.Last year, aged 16, she had her first epileptic seizure,

:20:36. > :20:38.so the one thing we did was we bought her an orange hat

:20:39. > :20:40.so that when she does her training sessions, she'll often

:20:41. > :20:43.wear her orange hat so she's easy to pick out in the lanes just

:20:44. > :20:45.in case something happened in the water.

:20:46. > :20:47.It's not stopped her - she just happily takes her

:20:48. > :20:54.Epilepsy is only the latest obstacle Hayley's had.

:20:55. > :21:01.This recent brain scan dramatically illustrates just why she's missing

:21:02. > :21:05.much of the power and control down her right side.

:21:06. > :21:08.Not that you'd know from watching her in the pool -

:21:09. > :21:14.It means I've got to kick more to catch them up, so it's harder,

:21:15. > :21:19.so that makes it more difficult and stronger for me.

:21:20. > :21:23.Hayley, don't breathe in that first stroke.

:21:24. > :21:28.If we look from the perspective that she needs to swim

:21:29. > :21:31.with the swimmers that are not disabled swimmers -

:21:32. > :21:33.to keep up with them, it's a massive, massive effort.

:21:34. > :21:35.And she never complains and she never sees her disability

:21:36. > :21:48.And such dedication has turned her into the one

:21:49. > :21:50.of the nation's best young prospects in para swimming, already top

:21:51. > :21:54.In her disability category, she is first in breaststroke,

:21:55. > :22:01.She is the second-fastest ever behind a paralympian in 100

:22:02. > :22:11.I need to keep healthy, so let's do swimming.

:22:12. > :22:13.Swimming, it's easy to be disabled because you're not pooling hard.

:22:14. > :22:18.So swimming is Hayley's life - and not just the dozens

:22:19. > :22:24.There's also the day job - an apprenticeship at

:22:25. > :22:27.the Meres Leisure Centre, much of it in the training pool

:22:28. > :22:45.She's helping kids to swim and on the way to becoming a real

:22:46. > :22:50.Paralympic star. Fantastic. That's amazing. Back to the film we

:22:51. > :22:52.were talking about. He's one of the longest serving

:22:53. > :22:55.members of Parliament, He's also been kicked

:22:56. > :22:58.out of the Commons more It's not surprising

:22:59. > :23:05.when in Parliament he has described some of his fellow MPs as a little

:23:06. > :23:08.squirt of a minister, Now there's to be a film

:23:09. > :23:13.about the man they call the Beast Our political editor Tony Roe has

:23:14. > :23:22.been to see the film makers. I am proud to have

:23:23. > :23:25.fought every single day. These words of mine don't come out

:23:26. > :23:34.of my mouth because of greed. They've persuaded Dennis

:23:35. > :23:40.Skinner to cooperate - But he still managed to fit us in -

:23:41. > :23:50.all round the country, The remarkable thing

:23:51. > :23:59.about Dennis Skinner is he's not only been an MP since 1970 -

:24:00. > :24:03.one of only three to be there that long - before that,

:24:04. > :24:05.he was a miner for 22 In Bolsover, there's

:24:06. > :24:10.a recognition for their MP most politicians would hanker

:24:11. > :24:13.for in these mistrustful times. He comes up and down here,

:24:14. > :24:16.talks to the market traders, He's the most brilliant man

:24:17. > :24:21.that there ever was. Excuse me, can I give

:24:22. > :24:31.you a flyer for a documentary The young film-makers had to raise

:24:32. > :24:36.the final funding they needed to pay There's a little bit

:24:37. > :24:40.more to the man beyond, obviously, you know,

:24:41. > :24:42.the fire and brimstone you see So I approached him to make

:24:43. > :24:46.a documentary and, after a lengthy Two years later, we've filmed

:24:47. > :24:53.everything, edited everything. There's always going to be something

:24:54. > :24:58.else that needs to be done. Last night, they hit

:24:59. > :25:00.their target - ?18,000. The number for the beast to hit

:25:01. > :25:15.the big screen. He's one-of-a-kind, no matter what

:25:16. > :25:20.you you think of him. Certainly is.

:25:21. > :25:23.Here is the weather. Very high pressure, off the roof. Settled

:25:24. > :25:26.conditions at the minute, it will stay with us through the next couple

:25:27. > :25:29.of days and into the weekend with high-pressure dominating our

:25:30. > :25:33.weather. Couple of showers coming in from the area of low pressure over

:25:34. > :25:39.the North Sea, which we've seen today. Some lovely pictures coming

:25:40. > :25:43.in. Just about caught the rainbow here near Derby. However, here in

:25:44. > :25:47.Nottinghamshire, Steve took this lovely picture of the Glaxo Smith

:25:48. > :25:52.Kline building, where we had plenty of sunshine. It has been a mixed

:25:53. > :25:56.bag. If we have any showers out and about as we speak, they will clear

:25:57. > :26:00.and it will be a mostly dry night tonight and it will get a bit

:26:01. > :26:04.chilly. Not hugely so, temperatures will not drop that low, just nip in

:26:05. > :26:09.the air. One or two showers still in places. These clear through,

:26:10. > :26:13.variable cloud, clear spells, and because of those clear spells and

:26:14. > :26:16.light breeze, we will get mist and fog forming. Temperatures down to

:26:17. > :26:20.seven or 8 degrees for most towns and cities, but in more rural spots,

:26:21. > :26:23.lower than that. Chilly starts tomorrow morning. If you have missed

:26:24. > :26:28.and fog across southern and western parts, stubborn to clear but it will

:26:29. > :26:32.do so through the morning. We import trade area -- drier air tomorrow.

:26:33. > :26:35.Most of us, dry and fine day. A gentle northerly breeze,

:26:36. > :26:38.temperatures around 12 or 13 degrees. For the 21st of October

:26:39. > :26:42.tomorrow, it is not looking too bad at all. High-pressure staying with

:26:43. > :26:46.us as we head into the weekend. Still that area of low pressure over

:26:47. > :26:49.the North Sea, could give a couple of showers through Saturday

:26:50. > :26:53.afternoon. Other than that, it stays dry and in the next system, it looks

:26:54. > :26:56.like it'll stay further south. Good news for the weekend, on the whole

:26:57. > :27:01.mostly dry, but it will get chilly overnight. Maybe a touch of grass

:27:02. > :27:04.frost. Don't go anywhere, stay at home.

:27:05. > :27:07.And before go - don't forget it's less than four weeks to go

:27:08. > :27:09.BBC Children In Need, and Pudsey is encouraging everyone

:27:10. > :27:12.to think about fund-raising on his tour of the East Midlands.

:27:13. > :27:14.This week he stopped off at a training session

:27:15. > :27:16.of the Leicester Riders basketball team.

:27:17. > :27:18.The players were preparing ahead of their match

:27:19. > :27:21.I think Pudsey impressed with his dribbling skills

:27:22. > :27:30.Of course it's all about Children in Need - Friday, November 18th -

:27:31. > :27:40.and fund-raising packs are available to download from the BBC website.
