:03:10. > :03:12.The case has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints

:03:13. > :03:18.The police are not looking for anyone else in connection

:03:19. > :03:20.with the incident, but they are appealing for `nyone

:03:21. > :03:23.who may have any information about the family and what h`ppened

:03:24. > :04:02.referred to in the? Do not know how these three. Do not know wh`t

:04:03. > :04:12.results of what is eaten. The arrangements have been made that

:04:13. > :04:16.A 21-year-old man has been `rrested after a car mounted the pavdment

:04:17. > :04:19.and hit pedestrians in Leicdster city centre last night.

:04:20. > :04:22.Four people were injured and a woman remains

:04:23. > :04:25.in hospital after the inciddnt on Humberstone Gate in the city

:04:26. > :04:46.As Leicester City centre. In a pub on harvest and gate captured the

:04:47. > :04:59.horror which unfolded just before five o'clock last night. Stders

:05:00. > :05:07.there was noise. It was really bad, there was a woman screaming. It was

:05:08. > :05:12.something of the TV. By the time we got out it was bodies on thd floor.

:05:13. > :05:19.There were people everywherd. People came from everywhere. We looked at

:05:20. > :05:26.the CCTV to see what happendd. It was really bad. White the c`r did

:05:27. > :05:29.not stop in the nearby whild he s bored and was in place last night.

:05:30. > :05:45.That was lifted this morning. Remains in hospital tonight and is

:05:46. > :05:55.undergoing treatment for her injuries. The 21-year-old and he

:05:56. > :05:59.remains in custody. The investigation is in its early stages

:06:00. > :06:08.and they are appealing for anyone who saw

:06:09. > :06:10.It's another big night for Leicester City football club.

:06:11. > :06:13.Victory in Copenhagen this dvening would mean the Foxes are through to

:06:14. > :06:16.the European Champions Leagte knockout stages and they'd have two

:06:17. > :06:19.Once again the fans have travelled in their thousands.

:06:20. > :06:22.And Natalie Jackson is in Denmark for us too.

:06:23. > :06:32.Copenhagen has been a sea of blue and white.

:06:33. > :06:35.Hundreds of Leicester City fans in the Danish capital

:06:36. > :06:38.as their incredible European tour goes on.

:06:39. > :06:40.Tonight their players are on the verge of achieving

:06:41. > :06:43.They have won three out of three in this competition,

:06:44. > :06:46.they have not conceded a go`l, they have had the perfect start

:06:47. > :06:49.but if they do win this evening against FC Copenhagen,

:06:50. > :06:55.they will guarantee themselves a place in the last 16.

:06:56. > :06:58.Hans Christian Andersen, the world's most famous

:06:59. > :07:01.storyteller perhaps, lived here of course.

:07:02. > :07:06.Wouldn't it be apt if the f`iry tale continued right here?

:07:07. > :07:14.We will have all the build tp later in the programme.

:07:15. > :07:17.It's been confirmed that a lerger between two major hospital

:07:18. > :07:22.Nottingham's NHS hospitals `re no longer planning a takeover

:07:23. > :07:28.Bosses say it's because thex need to focus on their own

:07:29. > :07:33.It comes as Kings Mill Hosphtal s A department is praised

:07:34. > :07:42.It would have created one of the biggest trusts

:07:43. > :07:44.in the country, but now Nottingham Hospitals

:07:45. > :07:49.and Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust have called off a merger.

:07:50. > :07:52.It is partly due to a change in fortunes.

:07:53. > :07:55.In Nottingham A departments are struggling to see

:07:56. > :07:59.patients within four hours, with one in four patients

:08:00. > :08:04.It is a different picture at Kingsmill Hospital.

:08:05. > :08:07.Two years ago they were the fifth worst trust in England

:08:08. > :08:16.Across the whole system everyone is working differently and trying

:08:17. > :08:19.to stop people coming to A by helping them in the commtnity

:08:20. > :08:22.and when they are in A, trying to get them sorted ott

:08:23. > :08:25.and for frail, elderly people trying to get them home where we c`n

:08:26. > :08:27.with support from social care and other networks.

:08:28. > :08:30.If they are admitted to hospital, it is trying to get everythhng

:08:31. > :08:32.done quickly for them, so when they get their tests done

:08:33. > :08:36.Staff say the introduction of the short-stay unit

:08:37. > :08:39.here at the hospital a year ago has also been one

:08:40. > :08:43.It is a unit for patients who come in via accident and emergency

:08:44. > :08:47.and are thought to be able to be discharged within 72 hours.

:08:48. > :08:54.The 81-year-old was admitted after collapsing at home.

:08:55. > :08:57.The last time I came in there were very long waiting times.

:08:58. > :09:02.I don't get the impression of it being so busy this time.

:09:03. > :09:04.The doctors weren't running around, everything

:09:05. > :09:11.While Sherwood Hospitals Trtst is still deemed as inadequate,

:09:12. > :09:14.bosses say a merger is no longer necessary.

:09:15. > :09:19.Both trusts have decided we have got significant challenges

:09:20. > :09:25.Clearly from our perspectivd we have made fantastic improvements

:09:26. > :09:30.in our quality and safety of the services we provide.

:09:31. > :09:33.We are hoping to get a CQC inspection report in the very

:09:34. > :09:36.near future and we know it is going to be positive.

:09:37. > :09:40.Now the merger has been scrapped what does this mean

:09:41. > :09:55.as we heard from the chief dxecutive from Sherwood Forest hospit`ls, they

:09:56. > :09:59.are waiting for a report from the Care Quality Commission. Nottingham

:10:00. > :10:04.hospitals are saying they are focusing on improving their

:10:05. > :10:08.performance for emergency p`tients and they are addressing fin`ncial

:10:09. > :10:09.challenges. They say they are still working in partnership, but we do

:10:10. > :10:15.not know quite what Officers in what Derbyshire

:10:16. > :10:17.have released footage and a motorcross bike in an appeal

:10:18. > :10:23.to identify the rider. This bodycam footage shows

:10:24. > :10:25.the bike travelling at speed along Worcester Crescent,

:10:26. > :10:27.in Chaddesden up The rider travels out

:10:28. > :10:32.of the junction without stopping Police are asking for anyond

:10:33. > :10:40.with information about A permit to build what would be

:10:41. > :10:57.the largest pig farm in the country has been refused by the Envhronment

:10:58. > :10:59.Agency. Midland Pig Producers wants to house

:11:00. > :11:02.25,000 pigs at Foston in Derbyshire. The Environment Agency says it's

:11:03. > :11:04.concerned about the "signifhcant" The company had already been denied

:11:05. > :11:08.a permit last year, Derby based Rolls-Royce has secured

:11:09. > :11:14.an order worth over ?570 million. It'll supply one of Asia's largest

:11:15. > :11:17.airlines, China Southern, They'll power ten of its Airbus

:11:18. > :11:21.aircrafts. The company already provides engines

:11:22. > :11:28.for 28 of China Southern's planes. A memorial to honour a group

:11:29. > :11:31.of airmen badly burned in the Second World War has been

:11:32. > :11:34.unveiled by His Royal Highndss It recognises the young men

:11:35. > :11:38.who were patients of the pioneering And it's been organised by one

:11:39. > :11:44.of the last surviving members of the so-called Guinea Pig Club -

:11:45. > :12:01.93-year-old Sandy Saunders from his Royal Highness the Duke of

:12:02. > :12:07.Edinburgh and the National Lemorial Arboretum in Staffordshire `nd a

:12:08. > :12:12.monument dedicated to the gtinea pig club as its president. It h`s been

:12:13. > :12:21.commissioned by Sandy Saunddrs, who suffered 40% burns as a pilot in

:12:22. > :12:26.1945. I am quite ill and I thought if I did not do it, nobody dlse

:12:27. > :12:34.would. The club was such an important feature of my lifd. I

:12:35. > :12:40.thought it was important to convey the message of the club to future

:12:41. > :12:46.generations. Sir Archibald LcIndoe said that the club in 1941 `s a

:12:47. > :12:50.support club and drinking club. He had developed new techniques for

:12:51. > :12:53.dealing with burns injuries and he was helping young men with life

:12:54. > :13:03.changing disfigurements and today they gathered to pay tributd. It was

:13:04. > :13:09.very apt and I hope it makes people enquire and read about Archhbald

:13:10. > :13:18.McIndoe. It is very approprhate I think. It is an aircraft gohng down

:13:19. > :13:31.in flames and I am only lightly toasted one, hands and torso, but

:13:32. > :13:39.not my face. Surgeons to de`l with burns, was returning and endurance

:13:40. > :13:54.of members should be remembdred always. On the left hand on the side

:13:55. > :13:58.which faces the shade of his face. There are now only 17 surviving

:13:59. > :14:00.members of the guinea pig club, but this monument means they will be

:14:01. > :14:08.remembered for generations to come. Now, it's had an astonishing 50 000

:14:09. > :14:11.people through its doors since it We're talking about the Maggies

:14:12. > :14:14.cancer care centre at They look after over 60

:14:15. > :14:19.people a day, offering such powerful practical,

:14:20. > :14:23.social, and emotional support that the people who use the centre

:14:24. > :14:39.call it a home from home. There was a proper party atlosphere

:14:40. > :14:43.in the centre under Nottingham City Hospital site today, celebr`ting

:14:44. > :14:48.over five years since it opdned A local car was on hand to mark this

:14:49. > :14:52.would anniversary. For Peter Smith this has become somewhere where he

:14:53. > :14:56.has volunteered for all those five years, including the first xear when

:14:57. > :15:10.his wife came here for love and care before she died.

:15:11. > :15:30.Her what to do when they smhled and said, how are you would you like a

:15:31. > :15:42.couple of months and the drop in and you would. This is what do xou boast

:15:43. > :15:55.three had been in some of the comments so heart-warming. Ht made

:15:56. > :16:02.all the staff see it is the birthday. We have the capachty for

:16:03. > :16:07.more people to come and we will offer support well into the future.

:16:08. > :16:14.If you want to continue to tse, please do. Enjoy it. It is very

:16:15. > :16:19.special, a second home and `nyone who uses this on a regular basis

:16:20. > :16:24.with these same. I have met some amazing people here who I would

:16:25. > :16:28.never have met if I had not had cancer, one of the first sites. It

:16:29. > :16:34.is a really tough time to go through this disease, but there havd been so

:16:35. > :16:43.many positives that have cole out of it and everything is becausd of

:16:44. > :16:46.Maggies. Everybody says it hs an inspirational place. It is hn the

:16:47. > :16:47.grounds of the hospital, but it looks so different.

:16:48. > :16:51.Still to come: The Nottingh`mshire schoolgirl who's an

:16:52. > :16:55.We catch up with Tilly Sawford who's just been crowned Child of Courage

:16:56. > :17:09.And the good times just keep rolling for Leicester City.

:17:10. > :17:13.The latest stop on their European Tour: Copenhagen.

:17:14. > :17:16.Natalie Jackson is there to see if Leicester can make it to the

:17:17. > :17:38., the National Stadium of Ddnmark on a special evening for Leicester City

:17:39. > :17:45.in the European cup. Our ye`rly champions Leicester will take on FC

:17:46. > :17:49.Copenhagen, the Danish champion One win for the Foxes and they `re

:17:50. > :17:53.guaranteed themselves and in the knock out stages of the Chalpions

:17:54. > :18:03.League, this prestigious competition. Denmark is awash with

:18:04. > :18:10.you. This is brilliant. I whll never see it again. I cannot begin to

:18:11. > :18:15.explain what it means. To whn the league and be in the Champions

:18:16. > :18:22.League is surreal. It is easy to fall in love with Copenhagen with

:18:23. > :18:26.its beautiful scenery. They say the Danes are the happiest people in the

:18:27. > :18:33.world. Right now Leicester City fans would argue they are. Unbelhevable,

:18:34. > :18:38.we have just driven he met ht is amazing. So exciting, it is

:18:39. > :18:43.brilliant, it is a lovely place I cannot believe we are here. What

:18:44. > :18:51.have you made of the Danish people and Copenhagen? At the end of line

:18:52. > :18:56.seven and nine. The media and the football world are watching to see

:18:57. > :19:03.if the camera Kit four succdssive wins and make Champions League

:19:04. > :19:07.history. For us it is important that we have everything in our h`nds and

:19:08. > :19:13.we can write a new chapter of the Leicester story. But maybe ht is not

:19:14. > :19:22.tomorrow. It is important now to concentrate because Copenhagen is

:19:23. > :19:28.well organised. I repeat it that I respect a lot the team. Herd they

:19:29. > :19:32.are dreaming and so too is filled the left Hinckley five years ago to

:19:33. > :19:38.become a bar manager in the Danish capital. 4000 fans have comd over

:19:39. > :19:42.and everybody is in this bar and down the street and there is a great

:19:43. > :19:49.atmosphere and it has been going on all night and all today and I reckon

:19:50. > :19:54.tomorrow as well. Next to the City Hall in Copenhagen there is a statue

:19:55. > :19:57.to Hans Christian Andersen. Wouldn't it be apt if the Leicester City

:19:58. > :20:07.fairy tale continued right here tonight? Lee is the club's drama. We

:20:08. > :20:12.have not conceded a goal, it is another massive part of the story of

:20:13. > :20:15.Leicester City in the last 02 months, it is phenomenal.

:20:16. > :20:18.Well, this is Brett, a lifelong Leicester City f`n,

:20:19. > :20:20.and you will not find a better dressed supporter here

:20:21. > :20:23.He has been attracting plenty of attention.

:20:24. > :20:27.But so too have the famous faces in the press room at the st`dium.

:20:28. > :20:30.Broadcasters from all over the world are covering Leicester's story

:20:31. > :20:33.and a short time ago we caught up with a famous former

:20:34. > :20:39.The Leicester City supporters will be hoping that the Champions League

:20:40. > :20:42.form can continue and they can finish things off.

:20:43. > :20:45.If tonight they get a win, that is them through to

:20:46. > :20:56.We are on match four and thdy can get into the last 16.

:20:57. > :21:02.Just the fact that Leicester are in the Champions League.

:21:03. > :21:04.Most people couldn't get their head round it.

:21:05. > :21:07.Now they have more than a rdalistic chance of not just qualifying,

:21:08. > :21:13.Record signing Islam Slimanh is out tonight.

:21:14. > :21:17.Well, attacking options is not really a concern for Claudio

:21:18. > :21:25.He has so many options therd, with Musa, Leo Ulloa,

:21:26. > :21:28.Jamie Vardy of course and Okazaki to name just a few.

:21:29. > :21:31.But yes he would like to have had Slimani in the squad,

:21:32. > :21:37.but I do not think it will be too big a blow, not in this instance.

:21:38. > :21:41.Claudio Ranieri today has bden nominated as a Fifa coach

:21:42. > :21:49.It was mentioned a few days ago about will he be

:21:50. > :21:54.The achievements of last ye`r, who surpassed them?

:21:55. > :22:02.Finally, can Leicester make it four out of four wins in this fantastic

:22:03. > :22:05.European cup tonight and shock the footballing world again?

:22:06. > :22:09.It is going to be a big ask to come here.

:22:10. > :22:13.Copenhagen have a supreme rdcord at home, albeit against less

:22:14. > :22:17.talented opposition than Leicester City,

:22:18. > :22:26.Again what an achievement if they were able to do it.

:22:27. > :22:29.Four wins out of four, the first ever British team to do that.

:22:30. > :23:00.And just as the Bosman argud with Europe and night, they will return

:23:01. > :23:04.to the East Midlands as real-life heroes.

:23:05. > :23:06.She's the Nottinghamshire schoolgirl who's proved

:23:07. > :23:09.an inspiration to the nation, picking up an accolade in front

:23:10. > :23:11.of millions at this week's Pride of Britain awards.

:23:12. > :23:13.Tilly Sawford from Bilborough has spent her life battling the results

:23:14. > :23:17.of serious burns she sufferdd as a baby, even losing a leg.

:23:18. > :23:21.But through the pain, she's been helping others too.

:23:22. > :23:23.Carolyn Moses has been to mdet Britain's newly-crowned

:23:24. > :23:41.And nine you will typically captured the hearts of millions, not to

:23:42. > :23:55.mention a few celebrities, walking or fourth time her prosthethc leg

:23:56. > :24:01.and head of awards. At 15 months old she fell into a scalding bath,

:24:02. > :24:08.suffering 86% burns. No toddler had survived such intense injurhes, and

:24:09. > :24:14.conceded. After hundreds of operations she now faces constant

:24:15. > :24:17.physiotherapy. She had less than a 5% chance of survival and they said

:24:18. > :24:25.she would not make it through the night. When she did they sahd she

:24:26. > :24:29.would not pull through. She has been amazing and she has so much strength

:24:30. > :24:39.in her and that keeps her going Smiling. You cope by smiling? What

:24:40. > :24:47.makes you want to smile? My friends. And today those friends gavd her a

:24:48. > :24:52.Hiro's welcome back at school. An avid singer, she has created a girl

:24:53. > :25:00.band with friends, a band that got the attention of some famous judges.

:25:01. > :25:08.You will be auditioning for us next year. What has inspired the likes of

:25:09. > :25:13.Simon Cowell, Theresa May and her primary school colleagues is Tilly's

:25:14. > :25:18.determination to help others, and racing for disadvantaged chhldren.

:25:19. > :25:24.She is brave, it is amazing how she is surviving, it is extraordinary.

:25:25. > :25:29.She is an absolute star and is a real inspiration to adults `nd

:25:30. > :25:36.teachers. Lots of people thhnk you are brave. Do you think you are
