:02:16. > :02:27.It was just the fact that people were saying, this is so good,

:02:28. > :02:32.because I would have been on my own today, and they just wanted to tuck

:02:33. > :02:35.in and enjoy the day, and that just made it really good. Everybody was

:02:36. > :02:39.smiling and dancing and singing Christmas carols, pulling crackers.

:02:40. > :02:42.It was all very festive. Dozens of brave swimmers took

:02:43. > :02:45.the plunge today in the cold waters of Nottinghamshire's Colwick Country

:02:46. > :02:48.Park. For some, getting into

:02:49. > :02:50.the water was as tricky as coping with the low temperature

:02:51. > :02:53.- 4.9 degrees. The Boxing Day challenge

:02:54. > :02:55.is for charity, raising money Not everyone thought

:02:56. > :03:11.a wetsuit was necessary. This is about getting into the water

:03:12. > :03:17.and just swimming. I will be here next year. I just get in slowly and

:03:18. > :03:22.let my body cool down. It is not bad. It is not easy. It is always

:03:23. > :03:25.going to be painful, this time of year. It is called, but

:03:50. > :03:51.Leicester's defence were beaten So confirmation then of that

:03:52. > :03:59.result at Leicester. It means they are now 16th

:04:00. > :04:01.in the Premier League, three points above the relegation

:04:02. > :04:03.zone. In the Championship,

:04:04. > :04:04.Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 In League Two, Notts County's defeat

:04:11. > :04:12.they haven't won in eight games. He is Sara with the weather.

:04:13. > :04:30.beaten at home to Morecambe. It has been called today and we will

:04:31. > :04:33.find that the wind eases overnight. We have clear skies through the

:04:34. > :04:39.evening and it will make it a very cold night across the East Midlands

:04:40. > :04:47.and those temperatures will soon start to drop. In towns and cities

:04:48. > :04:51.it will fall to around freezing. Anything around -2, -3, in rural

:04:52. > :04:55.areas, and a frost starting to form as well across parts of

:04:56. > :05:02.Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. It will be a bright day

:05:03. > :05:05.tomorrow. We have this vale of high cloud coming in, making the sunshine

:05:06. > :05:15.hazy, but the wind will be much lighter, and it will be chilly, with

:05:16. > :05:19.temperatures at around six Celsius. That high-pressure moves position by

:05:20. > :05:22.the time we get to mid week so we will see more cloud around but it is

:05:23. > :05:23.certainly going to feel a lot colder.

:05:24. > :05:30.Our next news for the East Midlands is at 12.40 tomorrow lunchtime.
