:01:16. > :01:17.days when they would sooner be outside in the sunshine.

:01:18. > :01:21.Luckily, with it being the winter time, the

:01:22. > :01:24.days are short anyway, so they spend most of their time inside anyway.

:01:25. > :01:28.Staying inside all the time is something Defra demanded in early

:01:29. > :01:31.December from all poultry keepers, even people with hens in the garden.

:01:32. > :01:34.It's to make sure they don't come into contact with wild birds

:01:35. > :01:54.Once one bird gets hit, then the whole flock will catch it from

:01:55. > :01:58.We have to take every precaution that we can to keep them

:01:59. > :02:04.The measures to keep all birds safe will be reassessed in the New Year.

:02:05. > :02:07.Police in Derby are trying to find a man in connection with two alleged

:02:08. > :02:10.assaults in the city over the last few weeks.

:02:11. > :02:11.They've released this picture of 30-year-old Calum Taylor-Souden,

:02:12. > :02:16.The alleged attacks both took place in Alvaston at the end of November,

:02:17. > :02:30.A dramatisation of the last few days of a murdered Leicestershire

:02:34. > :02:35.Kayleigh Haywood was groomed, raped, and murdered last November

:02:36. > :02:38.The video, called Kayleigh's Story, has won national awards,

:02:49. > :02:51.in Leicestershire on New Years Day, before it undergoes a ?2 million

:05:19. > :05:20.in Nottingham just moments before diggers moved in and are now

:05:21. > :05:27.They are just weeks old, but these kittens

:05:28. > :05:28.have probably used up at

:05:29. > :05:30.least one of their main live after a lucky escape

:05:31. > :05:34.They are now receiving round-the-clock care here at the

:05:35. > :05:36.The kittens are unbelievably resilient,

:05:37. > :05:39.Their foster mum is looking after them fantastically, as

:05:40. > :05:42.Yes, they are doing really, really well.

:05:43. > :05:44.So, what you call for a kittens found on a

:05:45. > :06:01.And Bob the builder characters Roly, Pilchard and

:06:02. > :06:07.It's hoped Digger and his brothers and sister will be adopted

:06:08. > :06:10.They are among hundreds that are reopened by

:06:11. > :06:13.The majority of them are cats and kittens.

:06:14. > :06:16.People have one cat, the cat becomes pregnant, one cat

:06:17. > :06:18.becomes four, five, six cats and people realise

:06:19. > :06:32.The overall looking after them is quite time

:06:33. > :06:36.It stops any unwanted breeding, it also has health

:06:37. > :06:39.As for these kittens, after a shaky start,

:06:40. > :06:42.They will soon be ready for their new homes.

:08:38. > :08:42.in a weather front. Keeping the temperatures at seven or 8 degrees.

:08:43. > :08:45.Freezing or just below to the south-east corner. Fog will live to

:08:46. > :08:50.low cloud and generally speaking a lot more cloud than we saw today.

:08:51. > :08:56.Northern Scotland is the focal point for wet and windy weather. Confined
