:01:09. > :01:12.been found guilty of involvement in a scam which involved
:01:13. > :01:15.deliberately crashing cars, part of an insurance racket
:01:16. > :01:19.dubbed 'crash for cash'. The men staged dozens of road
:01:20. > :01:23.collisions between 2011 and 2013 across Derby and Derbyshire,
:01:24. > :01:26.between them making hundreds of thousands
:01:27. > :01:29.of pounds in the process. Today's verdicts followed
:01:30. > :01:32.a five-week trial at Nottingham Crown Court,
:01:33. > :01:36.as Giles Taylor reports. Trying to hide their faces, these
:01:37. > :01:40.five men today finally had to face They were part of a so-called
:01:41. > :01:45.crash for cash scam, deliberately causing collisions
:01:46. > :01:48.to make fraudulent claims for injuries received and damage
:01:49. > :01:52.caused to the vehicles. In total, they staged 41 crashes
:01:53. > :01:56.across Derby and Derbyshire, targeting older and
:01:57. > :01:59.lone women drivers. One of the most common schemes
:02:00. > :02:02.was to have two cars driven by the scammers ahead
:02:03. > :02:04.of a target car. The lead car would swerve suddenly,
:02:05. > :02:07.causing the second to brake hard, the target car behind
:02:08. > :02:12.would crash into the back of the That innocent third
:02:13. > :02:16.party would always admit liability if they had driven
:02:17. > :02:21.into the back of the second car. Ten of the 41 crashes
:02:22. > :02:25.took place here. The scammers also used stolen
:02:26. > :02:28.or fake identities as part of their The claims were then managed
:02:29. > :02:33.by one of two companies One of them was Derby
:02:34. > :02:39.Enterprise Solutions. The director's brother
:02:40. > :02:42.was the secretary, the two men and their accomplice were all found
:02:43. > :02:47.guilty of conspiracy to defraud. Another man, seen here
:02:48. > :02:51.in the green coat, was His brother in the black coat
:02:52. > :02:56.was found not guilty. Meanwhile, Adam Stark
:02:57. > :02:58.from Long Eaton was found guilty of fraud as well as perverting
:02:59. > :03:02.the course of justice. And seven other people had already
:03:03. > :03:05.pleaded guilty to their part In a statement today,
:03:06. > :03:09.Derbyshire police has set it hopes this trial sends out the clear
:03:10. > :03:12.message that this type of crime will be treated seriously, investigated
:03:13. > :03:15.thoroughly and will not The five men found guilty have been
:03:16. > :03:20.released on bail but will be back in court

:04:54. > :04:55.The eight enterprise zones across the Midlands have so far
:04:56. > :04:57.created 9,000 jobs and brought in over ?1 million of
:04:58. > :05:03.Just up the road in Leicestershire, the Mira technology park,
:05:04. > :05:06.there were companies from around the world who come to base
:05:07. > :05:09.themselves on that technology park, and that is exactly what we want
:05:10. > :05:16.to achieve here on this side as well.
:05:17. > :05:26.The new enterprise zone promises much. 6500 jobs in ten years, rising
:05:27. > :05:29.to 21,000 editors the local economy over 25 years. Messages first
:05:30. > :05:35.enterprise zone open about five years ago near Hinckley. The photos
:05:36. > :05:42.of technology Park has attracted many companies and created many
:05:43. > :05:45.jobs. It is the busiest one so far in the country. This has the
:05:46. > :05:50.potential to do even better because of its location by the M1 and 5000
:05:51. > :05:55.houses across the road. The new enterprise zone can't come soon
:05:56. > :05:59.enough, the universities innovation Centre is already 90% full.

:06:06. > :06:16.It is good news for Leicester and Leicestershire, it gives us another

:06:25. > :06:25.innovation and advanced engineering and manufacturing.

:06:43. > :06:45.the previous site, since 2012 when it was designated as an enterprise

:10:05. > :10:05.that these will be the
:10:06. > :10:08.real best services meeting patients needs.
:10:09. > :10:11.This campaigner is really happy that the brain injury service isn't
:10:12. > :10:16.Heather is 24 and suffered a brain injury after losing
:10:17. > :10:20.At home in West Bridgeford today, she told us she is
:10:21. > :10:23.glad that when it comes to her service, the clinical commissioning
:10:24. > :10:31.I think it will be good for everyone, whether they
:10:32. > :10:35.are outpatients or the future ones, or the staff.
:10:36. > :10:38.It will just all remain in one place, that will be
:10:39. > :10:40.Other patients, though, are not happy.
:10:41. > :10:42.Gilly in Blidworth is furious the pain management service
:10:43. > :10:46.We're told the changes will save ?2 million pounds
:10:47. > :10:50.on today's prices, but the main motivation isn't savings

:14:58. > :15:03.The service will be provided in-house by the NHS from April
:15:04. > :15:07.following claims of dirty wards and poor cleaning standards.
:15:08. > :15:12.There have been accusations of dirty wards,
:15:13. > :15:13.staff shortages, now the
:15:14. > :15:16.cleaning is being brought back in-house at Nottingham's two major
:15:17. > :15:20.hospitals and their job gaps to fill.
:15:21. > :15:26.We see our cleaning staff as an integral part of the
:15:27. > :15:27.ward team, who take responsibility along
:15:28. > :15:30.ward team to make sure that the patient
:15:31. > :15:32.experience is as good as it
:15:33. > :15:42.can be that the ward is clean and tidy.
:15:43. > :15:44.At full strength, the cleaning workforce should number the
:15:45. > :15:45.equivalent of 350 full-time cleaners.
:15:46. > :15:48.It says it needs to take on the equivalent of 50 full-time
:15:49. > :15:54.Plus enhancements for anti-social hours.
:15:55. > :15:57.The important thing for the cleaners is to make sure that they have
:15:58. > :15:59.absolute pride in their work and commitment to do things properly.
