:01:01. > :01:02.Now, though, they are being allowed to leave Spain.

:01:03. > :01:04.But they are unhappy with their treatment.

:02:06. > :02:07.The hospital trust that runs the Kingsmill, Newark

:02:08. > :02:09.and Mansfield Hospitals is trying to tackle a desperate

:02:10. > :02:12.shortage of nurses with a new recruitment campaign.

:02:13. > :02:17.Almost one in five permanent nursing posts at the trust

:02:18. > :02:23.Is it OK if I can just check your temperature?

:02:24. > :02:26.It takes an army of nurses to look after patients

:02:27. > :02:31.After 40 years in mining, the 83-year-old has chronic

:02:32. > :02:44.breathing problems. The -- I can't get my breath

:02:45. > :02:49.You can come to hospital and they can mend your bones

:02:50. > :02:54.but they can't put a new pair of lungs in.

:02:55. > :02:56.With a national shortage of nurses, though, Kingsmill has struggled

:02:57. > :02:59.It's on the wards where the pressure is felt.

:03:00. > :03:02.The trust has 140 unfilled band five registered nurse posts.

:03:03. > :03:06.It means a heavy reliance on more expensive temporary staff.

:03:07. > :03:08.We have tended to use quite a lot of agencies quite recently,

:03:09. > :03:12.and that's one of the main reasons why we are doing the recruitment

:03:13. > :03:26.campaign to try and get some nurses back.

:03:27. > :03:35.I want anyone to be -- who wants to be a nurse. It is quite a

:03:36. > :03:35.commitment. The trust nursing staff are the face

:03:36. > :03:39.of the latest internet campaign. Talk of a merger with Nottingham's

:03:40. > :03:42.hospitals meant uncertainty for months and made it

:03:43. > :03:43.harder to recruit. We've come out of special measures,

:03:44. > :03:48.we've moved from being inadequate Our journey is to get

:03:49. > :03:51.to good and outstanding. But getting more nurses

:03:52. > :03:53.is easier said than done. Following the Brexit vote,

:03:54. > :03:55.it's harder to attract them If this latest attempt

:03:56. > :03:58.to get UK talent doesn't this trust may go to the Philippines

:03:59. > :04:05.for its next campaign. The same week the United

:04:06. > :04:08.Lincolnshire Hospital Trust has been put back into special measures,

:04:09. > :04:11.the trust has released a video asking patients to choose the right

:04:12. > :04:14.NHS service for their treatment. Doctor Kishan Rees produced

:04:15. > :04:17.the short film to advise people He outlines when each should be

:04:18. > :04:22.used, if people become unwell. It's hoped it'll ease pressure

:04:23. > :04:26.on A as around 30 % of people who visit emergency departments

:04:27. > :04:28.could be seen or treated It's a public awareness and it's

:04:29. > :04:35.an education thing in terms of letting patients know that this

:04:36. > :04:38.service can help you in I think when people are sick

:04:39. > :04:47.or stressed they will seek the easiest possible way of helping

:04:48. > :04:49.or seeking help, An East Midlands family being sought

:04:50. > :04:55.by Australian detectives investigating the cold case murder

:04:56. > :04:57.of a toddler say they're making contact

:04:58. > :05:01.with local police. It comes after detectives

:05:02. > :05:04.in New South Wales charged a man with the murder of toddler

:05:05. > :05:06.Cheryl Grimmer in 1970. They wanted to speak again

:05:07. > :05:09.to the Goodyear family, who now live in Nottinghamshire,

:05:10. > :05:12.but at the time were living Today, the Goodyears told us they're

:05:13. > :05:17.making contact now with Australian detectives, having seen media

:05:18. > :05:22.appeals for them to come forward. A police campaign to cut the number

:05:23. > :05:24.of motor bike deaths Derbyshire Police says that every

:05:25. > :05:30.year around 11 people are killed and about 90 others are seriously

:05:31. > :05:32.injured in motorbike crashes Officers are using the Easter bank

:05:33. > :05:38.holiday to target and re-educate Hundreds of Christians and people

:05:39. > :05:45.of all faiths watched the annual The production, which retells

:05:46. > :05:51.the Easter story, included a mix of music, hymns and contemporary

:05:52. > :05:54.songs, as well as dance and drama. It marks the most important festival

:05:55. > :06:00.in the Christian calendar. To a busy day of sport

:06:01. > :06:03.now - football first. Derby County's run of four games

:06:04. > :06:06.unbeaten ended abrubtly as they lost 4-0 at Brentford,

:06:07. > :06:09.and Nottingham Forest lost 1-0 In League Two, Notts County

:06:10. > :06:13.drew 2-2 at Crewe, A win would see them

:06:14. > :06:19.claim their second BBL Championship title in a row -

:06:20. > :06:23.their third in five years. Let's check the weather for the rest

:06:24. > :06:32.of the Easter Weekend Hopefully, you saw some

:06:33. > :06:36.brightness earlier on today, but it's been a rather disappointing

:06:37. > :06:39.end to Good Friday, This was a typical scene,

:06:40. > :06:44.taken earlier on by one of our weather watchers,

:06:45. > :06:47.more cloud than blue sky. The cloud has been thickening up,

:06:48. > :06:49.with some fairly wet weather for a time, seeing

:06:50. > :06:51.some heavy bursts. That will clear through,

:06:52. > :06:54.the odd drib and drab left behind into the early hours,

:06:55. > :06:56.but most of us will be dry Chilly, though, with some breaks

:06:57. > :07:00.there, temperatures falling down A chilly start to Saturday

:07:01. > :07:03.and it's not going to Brisk, cold wind coming

:07:04. > :07:07.in from the north-west, if you are exposed to

:07:08. > :07:09.that you will feel it. But the good news is,

:07:10. > :07:12.there will be more sunshine than many of us saw today and a good

:07:13. > :07:15.few of us will avoid the showers. A few sneaking across

:07:16. > :07:18.the Peak District into our patch, but for the most

:07:19. > :07:22.of us, we'll be able to avoid But temperatures disappointing, 11,

:07:23. > :07:25.12, maybe 13 if you're lucky. Trouble brewing as we head

:07:26. > :07:28.toward Easter day, this little wavy weather front looks

:07:29. > :07:30.like bringing some rain to just Disappointing Easter

:07:31. > :07:36.day as a consequence. But as the rain does clear

:07:37. > :07:42.away through the week, But watch out for

:07:43. > :07:53.some chilly nights. The team and I will be back with

:07:54. > :08:12.your next update at ten. To think that this time last

:08:13. > :08:18.weekend, temperatures were in the 20s. They got up to 25.5. Much

:08:19. > :08:24.cooler across the country this weekend. And this headline is true

:08:25. > :08:29.for the weather next week. That cool air stream from the north will

:08:30. > :08:35.persist. The mild air tries to get in, but never really wins. What have

:08:36. > :08:42.we got for the rest of today? The rain we had across Wales earlier

:08:43. > :08:43.will move southwards, but once the rain reaches you, it will be much
