:06:23. > :06:28.thing is we will hang onto that breeze so we're looking at a breezy

:06:29. > :06:31.night overnight but dry. Plenty of clear skies. That will change in the

:06:32. > :06:34.early hours when we start to get more in the way of cloud but

:06:48. > :06:52.of showers but few and far between and in the afternoon all parts will

:06:53. > :06:55.be dry and bright but a fresh southwesterly breeze, temperatures

:06:56. > :07:00.around about eight or nine Celsius and then we get to the big night. It

:07:01. > :07:06.looks like Father Christmas is going to be on the mild side as we head

:07:07. > :07:09.overnight because we drag in the southwesterly air and through

:07:10. > :07:14.Christmas Day itself, temperatures rise. Probably not record-breaking

:07:15. > :07:19.but tides of 13 Celsius and will feel mild. It will stay dry but some

:07:20. > :07:24.rain as we head into Christmas Day night and into Boxing Day. Boxing

:07:25. > :07:27.Day itself looks dry and bright with some good spells of sunshine, high

:07:28. > :07:27.pressure building so things will settle down by Tuesday.

:07:28. > :07:31.In a few moments, a full national forecast, but for now I'll leave

:07:32. > :07:37.big day? Christmas Day. It will stay mild and temperatures could reach

:07:38. > :07:43.14, 15. He is down bet that the national picture.

:07:44. > :07:49.It will be more northern parts of the UK that see the worst of the

:07:50. > :07:59.weather. Another storm is developing in the Atlantic. This will turn into

:08:00. > :08:05.Storm Connor. This cloud has wrapped around storm Barbara. It brought

:08:06. > :08:09.gusty winds in the West. Some localised flooding in Scotland early

:08:10. > :08:13.on and the strongest winds in the north of Scotland approaching 80

:08:14. > :08:18.miles an hour. The amber window warning from the Met Office is about

:08:19. > :08:19.to expire. It remains windy overnight. In
