:00:29. > :00:32.Mansfield and Ashfield have decided to change the rules.

:00:35. > :00:39.His mum, Railene, says the latest decision is ridiculous.

:00:40. > :00:43.She got pregnant through IVF first time aged 40 and the NHS

:00:44. > :00:50.I think it's a very disappointing decision.

:00:51. > :00:53.Ultimately, I wouldn't have been able to have that treatment.

:00:54. > :00:56.I was 41 when I had Matthew, 40 when I was going through the cycle.

:00:57. > :01:00.Obviously it would have deprived me of the chance and will deprive other

:01:01. > :01:03.women my age of the chance to have a lovely baby,

:01:04. > :01:08.Railene met the NHS criteria in place everywhere

:01:09. > :01:12.across the East Midlands that women need to be 18 to 42 years old,

:01:13. > :01:19.not obese, not smoke and have no previous children.

:01:20. > :01:21.She's dismayed now Newark, Mansfield and Ashfield NHS bosses

:01:22. > :01:26.have broken ranks and are changing the age for women to 25-34

:01:27. > :01:30.and putting in an age limit for men, a maximum of 40 years old.

:01:31. > :01:32.Nottingham's two fertility clinics, CARE and Nurture, have

:01:33. > :01:39.We would like to be able to offer some sort of equity

:01:40. > :01:46.A national strategy would be far better, where everybody

:01:47. > :01:53.It comes back to the value of a family or of a child.

:01:54. > :01:56.People have different views that depend on their own circumstances.

:01:57. > :02:04.Fertility experts are wondering where the rationing will end.

:02:05. > :02:07.A Derby man's been given a life sentence for the brutal murder

:02:08. > :02:13.74-year-old Satnam Singh was walking to his local Sikh Temple

:02:14. > :02:28.That's how Satnam Singh's family described the 74-year-old

:02:29. > :02:32.killed by a man who was once his step grandson.

:02:33. > :02:35.In July 2015 at around 4:30am, Satnam Singh was on his way

:02:36. > :02:37.to open his local gurdwara, where he volunteered -

:02:38. > :02:44.his daily morning routine for the last decade.

:02:45. > :02:46.Yards from the gates on Princes Street in Derby,

:02:47. > :02:49.he was subjected to a brutal and merciless assault

:02:50. > :02:52.His injuries were so severe that police initially thought

:02:53. > :02:59.The judge told Sukhraj Atwal, the attack must have involved

:03:00. > :03:01.you jumping or stamping on the victim whilst

:03:02. > :03:07.He said, you left him for dead, like a bag of rubbish.

:03:08. > :03:12.He had no enemies and I don't understand why he was killed.

:03:13. > :03:16.I still don't understand why he killed him.

:03:17. > :03:26.He was an inspiration to all volunteers.

:03:27. > :03:30.There is still no match to his dedication.

:03:31. > :03:37.Even the judge said that the motive remains obscure at best.

:03:38. > :03:41.It's thought it might have been due to a family dispute but Atwal

:03:42. > :03:45.As he was sentenced to a minimum of 20 years in prison,

:03:46. > :03:56.Two men have admitted murdering another man in Leicester last year.

:03:57. > :03:59.23-year-old Brendan Mason was found with 99 separate injuries

:04:00. > :04:04.after being lured to Abbey Park last July.

:04:05. > :04:09.Today 22-year-old Keith Lowe of Rockingham Close changed his plea

:04:10. > :04:14.21-year-old Joshua Hack of St Helen's Drive had already

:04:15. > :04:19.Both men will be sentenced on Monday.

:04:20. > :04:23.Six teenagers, aged between 13 and 15, have been arrested

:04:24. > :04:26.after a man was critically injured in Leicester.

:04:27. > :04:28.The 27-year-old was taken to Queen's Medical Centre

:04:29. > :04:35.Police are investigating an assault on Middleton Street,

:04:36. > :04:42.which is behind me just beyond the police cordoned area.

:04:43. > :04:44.Officers were called here to the historic village

:04:45. > :04:50.They found a 27-year-old man, who was taken to hospital

:04:51. > :04:55.in Nottingham where his condition is described as critical.

:04:56. > :04:58.Three boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, and three girls,

:04:59. > :05:01.one aged 13 and two aged 14, have been arrested in connection

:05:02. > :05:06.with the incident and are currently in custody.

:05:07. > :05:09.This police cordon has been in place for much of the day -

:05:10. > :05:11.although I'm told it will shortly be removed and the road

:05:12. > :05:16.will be reopened - as police try to piece together exactly

:05:17. > :05:21.As you can imagine, it's shocked neighbours.

:05:22. > :05:30.One simply told me, you don't expect something like this to happen here.

:05:31. > :05:33.A young woman from Mansfield who's battling a mystery illness says

:05:34. > :05:36.she's frustrated at the time it's taking for her to be referred

:05:37. > :05:41.Adele Uden's desperate to find a diagnosis for her condition,

:05:42. > :05:42.which leaves her bleeding uncontrollably.

:05:43. > :05:51.She also has blue patches on her face and around her neck.

:05:52. > :05:54.I've got two consultants at London that have agreed to see me

:05:55. > :05:57.and they've been agreed to see me since November, so why hasn't

:05:58. > :06:02.What is so difficult and what is holding it up?

:06:03. > :06:04.It's incredibly annoying and frustrating because obviously

:06:05. > :06:11.And police in Derby are trying to find the owners of some

:06:12. > :06:15.The pictures were discovered in Chaddesden Park

:06:16. > :06:24.on Valentine's Day by volunteers who were litter-picking.
