:00:36. > :00:39.pupils today. It was yesterday afternoon when emergency services

:00:40. > :00:44.were called to Drayton Manor theme park. The staff there had told Evha

:00:45. > :00:49.Jannath from the water after she fell from the splash Canyon water

:00:50. > :00:51.ride. She was given medical treatment and airlifted to

:00:52. > :00:55.Birmingham's Children's Hospital, but before the helicopter had even

:00:56. > :00:58.landed, the 11-year-old girl had died. A short while ago, we heard

:00:59. > :01:01.from the school headteacher. She was a lovely,

:01:02. > :01:04.sweet-natured girl, and she was loved by

:01:05. > :01:06.everyone at the school. As a school and as a community

:01:07. > :01:09.we are trying to make Our thoughts and our

:01:10. > :01:14.prayers are with her family at this

:01:15. > :01:17.most difficult time. We will be providing specialist

:01:18. > :01:20.support to our pupils and our staff, and we ask that they be

:01:21. > :01:24.given the time and space to grieve, and to come to terms

:01:25. > :01:37.with our huge loss. Evha Jannath's family have also

:01:38. > :01:42.given a statement. What did they say in that?

:01:48. > :01:53."Yesterday, our world was torn apart by the news that our daughter and

:01:54. > :01:58.sister has lost her life in tragic circumstances. She was a beautiful

:01:59. > :02:06.little girl, full of love and always smiling. Words cannot describe the

:02:07. > :02:12.pain and loss we have feel. ". I have also spoken to a lady whose

:02:13. > :02:14.younger sister goes to this school and was on the trip to Drayton

:02:15. > :02:15.Manor. Myself, I couldn't sleep last

:02:16. > :02:20.night thinking of this. I have got kids that

:02:21. > :02:22.probably will in the future be going

:02:23. > :02:24.on a trip like this. I will keep my kids close

:02:25. > :02:34.to me, to be honest. Well, there is still no official

:02:35. > :02:39.word as to the reasons for this accident. We do know that the police

:02:40. > :02:43.and the Health and Safety Executive are investigating. There is a mosque

:02:44. > :02:46.nearby and we know that last night prayers were held for the girl and

:02:47. > :02:52.her family who have suffered this loss. We do know that the school

:02:53. > :02:56.will open tomorrow, and there will be special support for the pupils

:02:57. > :02:57.who have suffered this tragedy with their classmate dying.
