:00:15. > :00:17.First tonight, changes to two of the region's hospitals sparked

:00:18. > :00:21.large scale protests this wdekend, in both Grantham and Leicester.

:00:22. > :00:29.Two different protests but both fighting to protect local hospitals.

:00:30. > :00:32.In Grantham, thousands of pdople marched through the town after

:00:33. > :00:36.United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust said overnight closures at the A

:00:37. > :00:43.And things happen more to elderly people.

:00:44. > :00:46.So we are more conscious of the fact that the nearest place

:00:47. > :00:48.is in Lincoln or Nottingham, and they are very

:00:49. > :00:51.Each time as a family we've used the hospital, it's

:00:52. > :00:59.The trust says the closures are being done as a way

:01:00. > :01:03.And, down the road in Leicester around 500 people took part

:01:04. > :01:07.in a rally to protect Glenfheld s children's heart unit.

:01:08. > :01:10.People here say they won't stop until it's been saved.

:01:11. > :01:14.Without them there'd be no her, so it's vital we save this

:01:15. > :01:18.service because, otherwise, there could be lives put at risk.

:01:19. > :01:22.I mean, we are the only service that are providing this sort

:01:23. > :01:27.And, so, if we lose the service we will be, in fact,

:01:28. > :01:30.the only region in the country that is losing that service.

:01:31. > :01:33.NHS bosses say no final dechsion will be made until next sumler.

:01:34. > :01:36.But campaigners claim that its future shouldn't

:01:37. > :01:40.It's about everybody's kids because anyone could find

:01:41. > :01:42.themselves in a situation where their own children

:01:43. > :01:45.or their friends' or relatives' children have a heart defect

:01:46. > :01:50.at birth, and they will need Glenfield Hospital.

:02:44. > :02:45.Queueing to get into any tent was just a nightmare.

:02:49. > :02:56.And, then, once you were in the venue, it was just packdd.

:02:57. > :02:58.In the tent, you couldn't really move.

:02:59. > :03:02.And I'm not surprised it got shut down because of the amount

:03:03. > :03:07.A choir from Leicester has reached the final of the BBC's Songs

:03:08. > :03:17.of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year competition.

:03:18. > :03:19.The DeMontfort University gospel choir is one of six

:03:20. > :03:23.They hit the headlines earlher this year when Kasabian asked thdm

:03:24. > :03:26.to perform with them in front of 30,000 people at

:03:27. > :03:37.When you started, it was so sweet that the water fell onto my eye

:03:38. > :03:39.Great gospel is when they are rehearsed to within an inch

:03:40. > :03:41.of their lives, which these guys clearly have been.

:03:42. > :03:45.You also have to have that connection, you have

:03:46. > :03:52.And this choir absolutely h`d it from the first note to the last

:03:53. > :03:54.And we'll hear the result next Sunday.

:05:14. > :05:17.broke it felt warm with temperatures up in the high teen, now as we head

:05:18. > :05:20.through this week there is a change inneth wither type, where things

:05:21. > :05:24.will start to feel cooler, we will still see mist, fog and frost around

:05:25. > :05:28.as well, and a lot of dry weather on the cards through much of the week

:05:29. > :05:32.ahead. High pressure still in charge, it is mild and murky and

:05:33. > :05:37.cloudy under that high pressure some breaks in the cloud, we have

:05:38. > :05:40.seen mist and fog patches forming, particularly in east England in the

:05:41. > :05:44.south-east. Locally dense patches of fog likely through into the early

:05:45. > :05:49.hours of Monday. Elsewhere, one or two showers through the Midlands,

:05:50. > :05:53.parts of Wales. Hill fog and mistiness almost anywhere. Mild

:05:54. > :05:57.overnight. You will notice rain in northern Scotland. That will sink

:05:58. > :06:02.further south through the course of Monday into central Scotland by the

:06:03. > :06:06.afternoon. But elsewhere things are looking mainly dry and imprisoned
