:01:05. > :01:12.New research says that almost two thirds of responding councils

:01:13. > :01:16.across England said they are struggling to find social tenancies

:01:17. > :01:22.It is even harder helping those aged between 25 and 34.

:01:23. > :01:25.Labour say there is nothing in the local government settlement

:01:26. > :01:28.to help stop the rise in homelessness and the doubling of

:01:29. > :01:32.rough sleeping which has happened since 2010.

:01:33. > :01:34.The local Conservative MP will be sleeping out again with

:01:35. > :01:39.More money is going towards rough sleeping and more houses are being

:01:40. > :01:44.built, but charities have always existed,

:01:45. > :01:48.I have transformed my life around, completely.

:01:49. > :01:51.From walking in the door, the staff are brilliant,

:01:52. > :01:55.it gives you every help and they give you all

:01:56. > :01:57.that you need to reform your life.

:01:58. > :02:00.Most of those helped by the YMCA, which does this to raise

:02:01. > :02:02.funds, have moved on to their own place to live,

:02:03. > :02:09.or, through mediation, have returned to their families.

:02:10. > :02:12.A man's died after being injured in what the police believe

:02:13. > :02:17.The man, who was in his twenties, was found early this morning

:02:18. > :02:21.He had life-threatening injuries and died in hospital.

:02:22. > :02:24.Police have conducted a forensic examination of the street.

:02:25. > :02:27.Officers want to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who has

:02:28. > :02:32.information about how the man was injured.

:03:20. > :03:22.as strong, you don't generate those revenues, you

:03:23. > :03:24.cannot have it for the schools and hospitals.

:03:25. > :03:29.Health campaigners have carried a bed around Derby to protest

:03:30. > :03:34.at the planned loss of more than 500 hospital beds across the county.

:03:35. > :03:37.They're angry at proposals to close wards and hospitals,

:03:38. > :03:40.including those in Bakewell and Darley Dale.

:03:41. > :03:45.NHS bosses say they want more patients treated in their homes.

:03:46. > :03:49.We want to challenge the cuts proposed to the local health plan

:03:50. > :03:51.and tell all those in charge at the local clinical

:03:52. > :03:58.commissioning group, councillors, MPs, we're not prepared

:03:59. > :04:05.Two local authorities are joining forces to try to tackle fraud.

:04:06. > :04:09.Derby City and South Derbyshire District Councils say they'll share

:04:10. > :04:11.resources and intelligence, to investigate things

:04:12. > :04:14.like council house tenancies, illegal sub-letting and requests

:04:15. > :04:23.They say the partnership should make it easier to spot fraudulent claims.

:04:24. > :04:25.Bus and tram fares in Nottinghamshire have

:04:26. > :04:29.Nottingham City Transport has revised ticket prices because of

:04:30. > :04:34.Many have gone up for the first time in several years.

:04:35. > :04:38.The company says it's absorbed cost increases in the past,

:04:39. > :04:42.but now it's had to pass some of them on to customers.

:04:43. > :04:45.Meanwhile, East Midlands Trains has announced an improved Sunday service

:04:46. > :04:49.There'll be an hourly service between the two stations

:04:50. > :04:53.An earlier service will also be available between

:04:54. > :04:58.The new timetable will begin on the 21st of May.

:04:59. > :05:00.Weather time now - it's been lovely today, hasn't it,

:05:01. > :05:06.It has been a lovely weekend, some really decent spells

:05:07. > :05:08.of sunshine, but as we go through the next few days,

:05:09. > :05:12.Through this evening and overnight, clear spells

:05:18. > :05:22.Temperatures dropping down to around four or five Celsius.

:05:23. > :05:25.A few spots may well see a touch of frost.
