:00:22. > :00:24.the last flying one was restored to air-worthiness at Bruntingthorpe.
:00:25. > :00:27.Today one of its pilots was at the Great Central Railway
:00:28. > :00:34.for the unveiling of the new Vulcan Express.
:00:35. > :00:37.When I was invited along, I thought I would be coming along
:00:38. > :00:40.just to do a few photographs and be involved in naming the train,
:00:41. > :00:43.and I was over the moon when someone said, actually,
:00:44. > :00:44.you're going to be right on the footplate.
:00:45. > :00:47.When I flew over this particular train two years ago,
:00:48. > :00:50.at the time it was just an event we were asked to do,
:00:51. > :00:53.and I had no idea there would be a collaboration between the Vulcan
:00:54. > :00:55.and the steam train, and that the steam train
:00:56. > :00:58.would eventually be renamed the Vulcan Express, so it's a real
:00:59. > :01:03.honour to be here and be involved in that today.
:01:04. > :01:05.All small boys always dream of driving steam trains,
:01:06. > :01:12.I am used to flying a vintage aircraft,
:01:13. > :01:15.with '40s or '50s technology, and this is similar.
:01:16. > :01:19.It's obviously from that kind of era.
:01:20. > :01:21.It's quite different to flying an aircraft,
:01:22. > :01:26.The experience was out of this world.
:01:27. > :01:31.The train is obviously a vintage, British-built piece of machinery -
:01:32. > :01:33.a little bit like the Vulcan, British-built.
:01:34. > :01:36.But it was a real experience to witness and see it being driven,
:01:37. > :01:43.These steam trains, and also hopefully the Vulcan in the future,
:01:44. > :01:47.It is obviously important for all children in future
:01:48. > :01:50.generations to be able to come along and see and understand a little
:01:51. > :01:57.Police investigating reports of a gun being fired in Nottingham
:01:58. > :02:02.It's after officers were called on Tuesday to Overdale Road,
:02:03. > :02:05.where a man in his 20s had suffered an injury.
