:01:19. > :01:26.At the Highfield Happy Hens farm there is no mistaking it's Easter.

:01:27. > :01:31.The cross is a symbol of farmer Roger's Christianity and his desire

:01:32. > :01:35.to promote at his visitors centre in Etwall what he says

:01:36. > :01:45.One by one they have been so full of nails that they've

:01:46. > :01:50.It's about Jesus staying on the cross for us.

:01:51. > :01:52.The fact is, the cross is empty, that's the key.

:01:55. > :02:02.Easter has been busy and it's his favourite time of year.

:02:15. > :02:17.And after months of having to keep these hens indoors to protect them

:02:26. > :02:28.just before Good Friday, making this a happy Easter

:02:29. > :02:37.Now coinciding with Easter this year,

:02:38. > :02:41.Hundreds joined a procession in Nottingham earlier

:02:42. > :02:43.to mark the start of the Sikh New Year,

:02:44. > :02:46.which also celebrates the founding of the faith.

:02:47. > :02:48.It's usually marked on the weekend following April 13th,

:02:49. > :02:51.which is why this year it's coincided with Easter Sunday.

:02:52. > :02:54.One of its organisers says it's a great way to remind

:02:55. > :02:59.people of all faiths about our similarities.

:03:00. > :03:01.The whole human race is one so recognise everybody as one.

:03:02. > :03:05.We may be different colours, different faith but at the end

:03:06. > :03:08.of the day our blood is the same colour and we come to the earth

:03:09. > :03:11.in the same way and we are going to leave the same way.

:03:12. > :03:18.Engineers for an East Midlands bus company have been lovingly restoring

:03:19. > :03:21.a vintage 1950s double-decker bus and in doing so,

:03:22. > :03:25.passing on valuable skills to apprentices.

:03:26. > :03:28.The vehicle is one of a fleet of 30 that once served Leicester.

:03:29. > :03:34.In its heyday the 154 carried thousands of

:03:35. > :03:39.But by 1981 it had fallen into disrepair and was found

:03:40. > :03:45.It was brought to Leicester when it was fully restored.

:03:46. > :03:48.Gary was one of the engineers who worked on the bus.

:03:49. > :03:52.He is now teaching new apprentice Liam his knowledge.

:03:53. > :03:54.It's a lot about skills which were taught in those days

:03:55. > :03:58.which I would say are not been used these days.

:03:59. > :04:02.So it's nice to keep them going for the new lads.

:04:03. > :04:04.It is fascinating to work on such a project.

:04:05. > :04:06.Personally, I've always liked working with old vehicles.

:04:07. > :04:10.I've always liked the idea of working with old vehicles

:04:11. > :04:18.Today the bus is used by the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust,

:04:19. > :04:29.It's what attracts the most interest from the general public.

:04:30. > :04:32.People associate it with going to school in the past,

:04:33. > :04:37.It's one of the traditional type of vehicles where you get on and off

:04:38. > :04:39.at the back and you would have had a conductor.

:04:40. > :04:41.The bus doesn't take fee-paying passengers any more.

:04:42. > :04:44.It's used at local events and rallies to promote the city

:04:45. > :04:51.and to give people an insight into a bygone era.

:05:18. > :05:22.As we move into Easter Monday we're looking at a fairly cloudy day.

:05:23. > :05:25.There will be the odd bright interval and sunny spells,

:05:26. > :05:28.but still a few outbreaks of rain to look out for as we

:05:29. > :05:33.Highs of 11C with a north-westerly breeze.

:05:34. > :05:37.As we move into Tuesday it's going to be a chilly start the day.

:05:38. > :05:39.I think we could see a touch of frost first thing.

:05:40. > :05:43.There will be some sunny spells and it will be largely dry but catch

:05:44. > :05:45.any sunshine and it will feel quite warm despite the fact

:05:46. > :05:49.temperatures aren't too high, just courtesy of the time of year.

:05:50. > :05:52.It will be fairly cloudy by the time we get to Wednesday though.
