:02:00. > :02:03.which is why this year it's coincided with Easter Sunday.

:02:24. > :02:28.Apprentices at an East Midlands bus company are learning modern skills

:02:29. > :02:33.The bus was one of a fleet that used to serve routes around

:02:34. > :02:36.Leicester back in the 1950s, as Helen Astle reports.

:02:37. > :02:37.In its heyday the 154 carried thousands of

:02:38. > :02:44.But by 1981 it had fallen into disrepair and was found

:02:45. > :02:57.It was brought back to Leicester, where it was fully restored.

:02:58. > :02:59.Gary was one of the engineers who worked on the bus.

:03:00. > :03:02.He is now teaching new apprentice Liam his knowledge.

:03:03. > :03:05.It's a lot of old skills which were taught in those days

:03:06. > :03:07.which I would say are not been used these days.

:03:08. > :03:10.So it's nice to keep them going for the new lads.

:03:11. > :03:12.It is fascinating to work on such a project.

:03:18. > :03:23.Today the bus is used by the Leicester Transport Heritage Trust,

:03:24. > :03:33.It's what attracts the most interest from the general public.

:03:34. > :03:36.People associate it with going to school in the past,

:03:37. > :03:41.It's one of the traditional type of vehicles where you get on and off

:03:42. > :03:44.at the back and you would have had a conductor.

:03:45. > :03:45.The bus doesn't take fee-paying passengers any more.

:03:46. > :03:48.It's used at local events and rallies to promote the city

:03:49. > :03:55.and to give people an insight into a bygone era.

:04:24. > :04:25.some brighter intervals, the odd sunny spell,

:04:26. > :04:27.particularly the further east you are, but one or two

:04:28. > :04:30.showers to look out for, particularly into the afternoon.

:04:31. > :04:35.Highs of 11 Celsius with a gentle north-westerly breeze.

:04:36. > :04:38.Overnight into Tuesday we are looking at a chilly one,

:04:39. > :04:41.so a touch of frost to begin the day.

:04:42. > :04:44.Then it's going to be largely dry with some sunny spells.

:04:45. > :04:46.Again our temperatures not up to much but in any sunshine
