:00:00. > :00:10.On the programme tonight: And

:00:11. > :00:12.Another young life lost on the capital's streets.

:00:13. > :00:15.The Met name the latest teenager to be stabbed,

:00:16. > :00:22.Meanwhile, a vigil is being held in Whitechapel for one of the three men

:00:23. > :00:28.stabbed to death in London last week. The family paid tribute. Never

:00:29. > :00:34.ever had that kind of situation, or this kind of hard time in our lives.

:00:35. > :00:41.So we are really, really upset. I don't know how you're going to with

:00:42. > :00:42.this. -- how we are going to cope with this.

:00:43. > :00:44.Also tonight: A review of tactics after the Westminster attack.

:00:45. > :00:47.Firearms officers can shoot terrorists at the wheel of a vehicle

:00:48. > :00:52.Plus all change for our busiest shopping area.

:00:53. > :00:59.There will be fewer buses on Oxford Street from the summer? Skema yes,

:01:00. > :01:00.what effect will that have on how people get from one end to the other

:01:01. > :01:02.on foot and on buses. And the one important task

:01:03. > :01:04.for the tens of thousands of marathon runners to do before

:01:05. > :01:16.they get to the start line. Welcome to BBC London News

:01:17. > :01:20.with me, Riz Lateef. Police have tonight named

:01:21. > :01:25.the latest teenage victim to be stabbed

:01:26. > :01:28.on the capital's streets. 19-year-old Jordan Wright

:01:29. > :01:30.was attacked in Blackheath News of his murder came on the same

:01:31. > :01:37.day the family of another young man Syed Jamanoor Islam, who was 20,

:01:38. > :01:41.was stabbed close to his home Tonight, his family are holding

:01:42. > :01:57.a vigil in his memory. This vigil has been organised by the

:01:58. > :02:01.friends and family of Syed Jamanoor Islam, who was stabbed to death last

:02:02. > :02:04.Tuesday afternoon, a short distance from where I am standing at the

:02:05. > :02:09.moment, over in my land. It was in broad daylight. He had been speaking

:02:10. > :02:13.to friends. Just hours later, he became part of a worrying and

:02:14. > :02:17.frightening statistic. He became one of three men stabbed to death in

:02:18. > :02:21.London in the space of 24 hours. It has left his family devastated and

:02:22. > :02:22.our reporter has been speaking to his parents.

:02:23. > :02:24.His ambition was really big and he tried to do

:02:25. > :02:28.He was really friendly with everybody,

:02:29. > :02:36.Syed Jamanoor Islam was killed last week,

:02:37. > :02:45.He was 20 years old and a business student at Tower Hamlets College.

:02:46. > :02:47.Speaking for the first time, his parents say the death

:02:48. > :02:49.of their eldest son has been devastating.

:02:50. > :02:52.We have never, ever had this kind of situation or this kind

:02:53. > :02:54.of hard time in our life, so we are really,

:02:55. > :03:01.I don't know how we are going to cope with this.

:03:02. > :03:04.And just last night, 19-year-old Jordan Wright

:03:05. > :03:05.was found dead with stab wounds in Blackheath

:03:06. > :03:12.Recent statistics from the Met show a significant rise in

:03:13. > :03:15.Earlier this week, the new commissioner said good use

:03:16. > :03:17.of stop and search can help police officers

:03:18. > :03:21.I do think it is a very useful tactic.

:03:22. > :03:23.It is particularly useful in the fight against knife

:03:24. > :03:26.crime and I will support my officers if they are using stop search,

:03:27. > :03:32.Syed was one of three young men stabbed in just 24 hours.

:03:33. > :03:35.His father is calling for tougher sentences for young people

:03:36. > :03:50.If the children know if they take a knife in their pocket or are

:03:51. > :03:55.carrying a knife they will get a more, you know, punishment for that,

:03:56. > :03:58.so if they are caught with a knife then they will get more frightened

:03:59. > :04:03.to carry the knife. And he also believes parents need to

:04:04. > :04:10.take more responsibility to educate their children. This kind of age,

:04:11. > :04:14.you should advise her children to carry a pen, not a knife, in your

:04:15. > :04:22.pocket. When I sit down with my children, I explained to them how to

:04:23. > :04:27.develop their life, how to respect people. Three teenagers have now

:04:28. > :04:29.been charged with the sun's murder. -- with Syed Jamanoor Islam's

:04:30. > :04:37.murder. Just an idea of the enormous impact

:04:38. > :04:41.a death like this has on the family of the victim. I thought it was

:04:42. > :04:44.particularly poignant than the father said people should be

:04:45. > :04:47.carrying pen is not knives in their pockets.

:04:48. > :04:51.It was only are this week that the new Met Commissioner was speaking

:04:52. > :04:55.about making knife and gun crime a top priority.

:04:56. > :05:01.That is right. He was speaking 24 hours before Syed Jamanoor Islam was

:05:02. > :05:04.stabbed to death. She said it was worryingly rising knife and gun

:05:05. > :05:09.crime. It was a scourge of London and she said her command ship, while

:05:10. > :05:14.she is in charge of Scotland Yard, will be judged on how she tackles

:05:15. > :05:17.these two areas. She says she is going to offer specialist officers

:05:18. > :05:22.more support and is also going to support officers who carry out a

:05:23. > :05:25.stop and search, as long as they are carried out correctly, as long as

:05:26. > :05:29.they have the desired effect of bringing knife and gun crime on. She

:05:30. > :05:33.also said she is going to work with Londoners across-the-board and, by

:05:34. > :05:37.judging the reaction here this evening, she is not going to have

:05:38. > :05:40.any fears about getting the support of many Londoners are you really

:05:41. > :05:42.want to see knife and gun crime falling.

:05:43. > :05:44.A Metropolitan Police officer has pleaded not guilty to four charges,

:05:45. > :05:46.including possession of a bladed weapon,

:05:47. > :05:50.over an alleged attack on a car in North London last year.

:05:51. > :05:53.PC Joshua Savage and a colleague had been conducting a stop-and-search

:05:54. > :06:06.Workers on London Underground are to stage a 24-hour strike

:06:07. > :06:08.in a dispute over the sacking of a colleague.

:06:09. > :06:10.RMT members based mainly at London Bridge will walk out

:06:11. > :06:14.The union says a worker was sacked for tackling a fare dodger

:06:15. > :06:16.said to have attacked other station staff.

:06:17. > :06:25.London Underground disputes the union's claims.

:06:26. > :06:27.Police may now have to shoot terrorists at the wheel of vehicles

:06:28. > :06:32.The national lead for armed policing revealed the change in tactics

:06:33. > :06:35.following the Westminster attack, as well as those in Nice and Berlin.

:06:36. > :06:37.Officers were previously told not to shoot drivers of moving vehicles

:06:38. > :06:47.because of the additional dangers it posed, as Jim Wheble reports.

:06:48. > :06:58.Neath in France last year. In 19 tonne truck piled into crowds,

:06:59. > :07:02.killing 86. Westminster last month, three die when hit by a car on

:07:03. > :07:07.Westminster Bridge. Stockholm, another crushed lorry, for more

:07:08. > :07:14.dead. Terrorist vehicle attacks, simple, ruthless and being used with

:07:15. > :07:18.alarming regularity. In terrorism, it is becoming one of the most

:07:19. > :07:22.pre-eminent tactics. Last year, we recorded data that for the first

:07:23. > :07:26.time ever more people... There were more casualties caused by this form

:07:27. > :07:31.of terrorism than any other form of terrorist attack in Europe for the

:07:32. > :07:34.first time ever. Now, the police themselves are recalibrating.

:07:35. > :07:38.Previous advice was against shooting at moving vehicles as possible to

:07:39. > :07:42.avoid collateral damage. The national police chief's council have

:07:43. > :07:47.now dropped that guidance in perceived terror related incidents.

:07:48. > :07:50.Now it is about taking aim at the driver, an important new emphasis,

:07:51. > :07:54.the experts. When you're talking about terrorism and the use of HGVs,

:07:55. > :07:59.in circumstances like this, there have to be developed tactic to go

:08:00. > :08:02.with it and there had to be a broader acceptance of what might

:08:03. > :08:07.occur in those circumstances. Visibly, that is what has gone on

:08:08. > :08:11.now. But it is not just vehicle attacks. Counterterrorism specialist

:08:12. > :08:14.firearms officers are being trained to storm tubes and train carriages

:08:15. > :08:20.in the event of a marauding gunman attack. It is inspiring a

:08:21. > :08:25.recruitment drive specialist firearms officers. But that is being

:08:26. > :08:30.jeopardised, according to the police chief's Council, by the way internal

:08:31. > :08:36.investigators treat armed officers after fatal shootings. An accusation

:08:37. > :08:39.of thalidomide. I have heard that said but I've not seen any evidence

:08:40. > :08:42.in terms of the numbers of people are applying, and the number of

:08:43. > :08:48.people that are being appointed. The other thing that I would say from

:08:49. > :08:51.our point of view is that no firearms officers should feel that

:08:52. > :08:57.they have anything to fear from independent scrutiny by the IPCC. Do

:08:58. > :09:02.you think we will see more of this, then, in Europe? Yes, almost

:09:03. > :09:06.certainly. It is in this light that they make are increasing their arms

:09:07. > :09:14.of his account for 600. For many not just a target but a necessity. --

:09:15. > :09:17.and increasing their firearms officers count to 600 -- by 600.

:09:18. > :09:19.Now, it hasn't taken long for election talk

:09:20. > :09:21.to turn to tactical voting and forming alliances.

:09:22. > :09:24.specifically to combine forces against Brexit

:09:25. > :09:26.and the Greens are saying they are happy to consider

:09:27. > :09:30.Let's get more from our Political Editor Tim Donovan at Westminster.

:09:31. > :09:32.And Tim, of course, the Greens have already put this

:09:33. > :09:38.In Richmond Park, in the by-election before Christmas, yes, they stood

:09:39. > :09:42.aside and did not run a candidate and that is credited with helping

:09:43. > :09:46.the Liberal Democrats win the and a defeat Zac Goldsmith. I am told it

:09:47. > :09:49.is quite likely that the Greens may not stand in that same seat at this

:09:50. > :09:53.election. That is starting to questions about whether it is going

:09:54. > :09:58.to happen elsewhere, next door in Twickenham, a little bit further

:09:59. > :10:01.away in Kingston. For the Greens to withdraw or sit on their hands would

:10:02. > :10:04.certainly boost the Liberal Democrats are trying to get back and

:10:05. > :10:08.defeat the Conservatives there. Of course, this kind of depends on a

:10:09. > :10:12.lot of local chat and negotiation and I am told Vince Cable, one

:10:13. > :10:16.candidate, has not been that amenable and the Greens in Kingston

:10:17. > :10:19.did not like the idea much either. You can see that possibly it is

:10:20. > :10:23.easier to talk about Progressive Alliance is than make it happen.

:10:24. > :10:26.Having said that, the Greens are right behind. They have still got to

:10:27. > :10:31.select a lot of candidates across the capital. They will be doing that

:10:32. > :10:32.across the next week and tended and you could see other quite

:10:33. > :10:33.significant gestures. This is absolutely about

:10:34. > :10:35.locally-driven arrangements We are not expecting this

:10:36. > :10:38.to happen everywhere, but if there are marginal seats

:10:39. > :10:41.in particular where by kind of

:10:42. > :10:42.cooperation we could keep out of parliament,

:10:43. > :10:44.out of government, an extreme form

:10:45. > :10:46.of Tory candidate then that, I think,

:10:47. > :11:02.is a positive thing. Tim, news of another attempt to

:11:03. > :11:06.rally against the Conservatives? Yes, this is Jean Miller, who many

:11:07. > :11:11.people remember successfully brought a legal action against the

:11:12. > :11:16.government over article 30. She is getting involved in a campaign on

:11:17. > :11:23.tactical voting, or pursuing it, and are starting crowdfunding and so on.

:11:24. > :11:27.She is promising to back those candidates, apolitical de-icing, who

:11:28. > :11:32.will put the best case against Brexit. So certainly a kind of sense

:11:33. > :11:38.of tactical voting building here. It has to be said tactical voting does

:11:39. > :11:42.not always, have not always, had a great record in the past but we are

:11:43. > :11:45.dealing that very big issue, emotive issue, Brexit.

:11:46. > :11:52.And what else have you picked up briefly, people standing than you

:11:53. > :11:55.did not expect? Karim one person, one Labour MP, current Labour MP,

:11:56. > :12:00.Jim Dowd, Lewisham, has said that he is not going to be standing again

:12:01. > :12:06.but all the others, the other 44, Labour candidates are going to be

:12:07. > :12:11.standing. Anybody wanting to go for other seeds, seats not currently

:12:12. > :12:19.held by Labour, have until Sunday to put their names forward.

:12:20. > :12:24.The funeral of a civil rights activist was held in Notting Hill

:12:25. > :12:28.today. The writer and broadcaster campaigned for black rights for more

:12:29. > :12:29.than 50 years. Community activists from different generations gathered

:12:30. > :12:38.at the service to pay tribute. The legacy of doctors cannot be

:12:39. > :12:41.underestimated in terms of what he has contributed to the black British

:12:42. > :12:46.identity and experience. All of those things are a contributed to

:12:47. > :12:52.the legacy that young people have to dig up and move forward because the

:12:53. > :12:53.struggle is not over yet. -- tributes to Darcus Howe, who died

:12:54. > :12:55.earlier this month. A young woman has lost sight in one

:12:56. > :12:58.eye following an acid attack at a nightclub in east London

:12:59. > :13:01.which injured 20 people. Detectives are still trying to find

:13:02. > :13:03.a 25-year-old man from Hertfordshire they want to talk to in connection

:13:04. > :13:06.with the incident What more do we know

:13:07. > :13:11.about the extent of the injuries? Since the attack in the early

:13:12. > :13:13.hours of Easter Monday, doctors have been desperately trying

:13:14. > :13:16.to save the sight of one victim - She was just out with a night for

:13:17. > :13:26.her friends. But today they announced

:13:27. > :13:28.that her injuries are so severe We also learnt today that a total

:13:29. > :13:33.of 20 people were burnt A corrosive substance

:13:34. > :13:42.was sprayed on dancers during an argument between

:13:43. > :13:44.two groups of people. Some of the victims are seen

:13:45. > :13:46.here immediately after the attack The police believe two men

:13:47. > :13:50.were the main targets. They're aged 24 and 29 and have

:13:51. > :13:52.suffered serious burns They've been transferred

:13:53. > :13:56.to to a specialist burns unit in Essex and are said to be

:13:57. > :14:04.in a stable condition. Is there any news on the main

:14:05. > :14:08.suspect that police want to speak to?

:14:09. > :14:11.25-year-old Arthur Collins from Broxbourne in Hertfordshire

:14:12. > :14:13.who they want to talk to in connection

:14:14. > :14:17.They also want to find two other men pictured on the club's CCTV.

:14:18. > :14:20.Three people have been arrested so far in connection with the attack.

:14:21. > :14:22.The latest was a 33-year-old woman arrested this morning

:14:23. > :14:24.at an address in Hertfordshire about alleged firearms offences.

:14:25. > :14:27.Police say the Mangle nightclub incident follows a 100% rise

:14:28. > :14:30.in acid attacks in London in the last year.

:14:31. > :14:34.when a man and woman had a corrosive substance thrown at them

:14:35. > :14:48.OK, thank you very much for that update.

:14:49. > :14:55.You are watching BBC London News. Also coming up:

:14:56. > :14:59.Here at XL, the Maritime task before the marathon as thousands of runners

:15:00. > :15:04.come here to register for the big day on Sunday.

:15:05. > :15:07.It's one of the busiest shopping streets in Europe

:15:08. > :15:11.there'll be fewer of these on Oxford Street.

:15:12. > :15:13.The number of buses will be almost halved

:15:14. > :15:15.to try to cut congestion and pollution.

:15:16. > :15:20.So how's the news gone down with passengers and shoppers?

:15:21. > :15:29.We sent Sonja Jessup and Marc Ashdown to find out.

:15:30. > :15:35.We are at the start of Oxford Street, Marble Arch about a mile in

:15:36. > :15:38.that direction. Yes, your bosses, I wonder what

:15:39. > :15:44.effect that will have on how people get from one edge to the other?

:15:45. > :15:47.Shall we try it out? Why not? I have a slightly bitter shoes on. It is a

:15:48. > :15:50.nice day. I guess I will get the boss.

:15:51. > :15:57.The pavement might be busy but I am straight into my stride. So far so

:15:58. > :16:02.good. Meanwhile, I was waiting for a bus. I wonder whether my LO

:16:03. > :16:05.passengers would be happy with your services. No, I use them all the

:16:06. > :16:11.time when I come to London and go back to Houston, though it is not a

:16:12. > :16:14.good idea at all. I won't have time for window shopping. It is a good

:16:15. > :16:21.deal! Do you think it is a good idea? Absolutely. It is quite busy.

:16:22. > :16:27.Fewer traffic, I don't know about buses. I have got to go! I was on

:16:28. > :16:31.the move as well. Traffic is not too bad at the moment. The idea of

:16:32. > :16:36.changing these 23 routes is to cut congestion, to try to make services

:16:37. > :16:43.quicker and more reliable. There is a boss, is she on that one? Quite

:16:44. > :16:48.competitive now! Waiting for the lights. How are you you on one of

:16:49. > :16:53.these buses buses behind me? No, I reckon we're good progress. We got

:16:54. > :16:57.one straightaway. How are you doing question is be I am at Oxford

:16:58. > :17:02.Circus. Get your skates on, there is lots of traffic! It is not just

:17:03. > :17:09.Oxford Street, Regent Street Wolfie gingers do. For your bosses. And of

:17:10. > :17:12.course, it is also about safety. -- Regent Street Wolfie gingers Oslo,

:17:13. > :17:18.far fewer buses. Years ago, a man was left in it,

:17:19. > :17:21.after he was hit on the head by a bus when men are at this junction.

:17:22. > :17:24.What do you think of having fewer buses on Oxford Street, will it make

:17:25. > :17:28.it safer? This is something the mayor has committed to in his

:17:29. > :17:34.campaign. It is hugely important, a 40% reduction in Brussels. You could

:17:35. > :17:38.not design a more dangerous pedestrian thoroughfare. --

:17:39. > :17:42.reduction in bosses. It is more attractive for shoppers as well. How

:17:43. > :17:46.is the race going? We are going to have to walk and talk. Fantastic

:17:47. > :17:51.news for our businesses and shoppers. Less traffic, Les buses in

:17:52. > :17:57.the West End and better air quality. Really welcome news. Really good

:17:58. > :18:01.idea. Why is that? Too much pollution. Too many people getting

:18:02. > :18:07.in the way. They have to jump on and off of bosses. It is crazy. It is a

:18:08. > :18:13.circus. Early years! Are you all right down there? I'll have to get

:18:14. > :18:19.some extra now. Is that cheating? Well, this is all about encouraging

:18:20. > :18:25.more cycling as well. What to do so on? It is a long way! And I see you

:18:26. > :18:30.got yourself a bike. It was hardly scientific, but it was good fun. It

:18:31. > :18:34.was, well done! Listen, I better get this back. See you later. I am going

:18:35. > :18:39.to get the tube. They did both make it back to the

:18:40. > :18:42.others. I should say, you can see which bus routes are affected by

:18:43. > :18:49.those gingers on Oxford Street by heading to our Facebook page. -- by

:18:50. > :18:51.those changes on Oxford Street. Next, on the one hand

:18:52. > :18:54.you have a ?3.5 billion regeneration of a town centre, creating thousands

:18:55. > :18:56.of jobs and homes. it could mean demolishing dozens

:18:57. > :18:59.of existing properties. some residents in Wood

:19:00. > :19:02.Green are not happy, Dave bought his ?700,000

:19:03. > :19:04.house last summer. He knew Wood Green was going to be

:19:05. > :19:07.redeveloped at some point but he thought his new house

:19:08. > :19:10.would be safe. he found out it could be

:19:11. > :19:13.in the demolition zone We have decorated

:19:14. > :19:21.a few rooms since then and we were very excited over

:19:22. > :19:25.Christmas, talking about redoing our kitchen,

:19:26. > :19:29.but in January we found out that there was a threat

:19:30. > :19:33.of regeneration. We didn't really understand

:19:34. > :19:36.what that meant but by February, we understood that meant

:19:37. > :19:39.the destruction of our home Homeowners in the adjoining roads

:19:40. > :19:47.have realised their houses The first time I knew

:19:48. > :19:52.about it was when I saw the posters in Dave's window

:19:53. > :19:55.and it was supposedly... Supposedly there was a consultation

:19:56. > :20:01.a year ago where they chose The fourth option is the one

:20:02. > :20:08.they have chosen, but they had not said anything

:20:09. > :20:14.about demolishing our street, they just said about improving

:20:15. > :20:16.the area, renovating the area Alfonso and Catherine have lived

:20:17. > :20:22.in a road nearby Now in their 80s,

:20:23. > :20:27.they cannot imagine moving. I have been living in my house

:20:28. > :20:30.for 50 years, that we have to be thrown out

:20:31. > :20:40.of our homes. The Wood Green plan will see

:20:41. > :20:42.the complete redevelopment of the town centre, creating nearly

:20:43. > :20:47.8000 new homes and 4000 new jobs. It is only at consultation stage

:20:48. > :20:49.at the moment but if the council's

:20:50. > :20:52.preferred option goes ahead, then Dave and his neighbours

:20:53. > :20:57.could see their homes demolished. Haringey Council had no-one

:20:58. > :20:58.available for interview, The consultation has been extended

:20:59. > :21:13.until the 28th of April. It's been a very busy

:21:14. > :21:21.day in London Docklands as tens of thousands of runners

:21:22. > :21:23.taking part in a certain 26.2 mile race this Sunday

:21:24. > :21:29.register for the Marathon. It's no mean feat,

:21:30. > :21:30.as you can imagine, and one of the key tasks

:21:31. > :21:48.is to pick up a kit bag. Yet thousands of people have to come

:21:49. > :21:52.here before five o'clock on Saturday, that is the deadline to

:21:53. > :21:57.register, pick up their kitbag. In a happier raise number, timing chip to

:21:58. > :22:00.tell them how long they will run the marathon in. We have got some

:22:01. > :22:05.running going on tonight. People are trying out this machine, trying to

:22:06. > :22:12.run 400 metres at marathon world pace, about 30 mph for a man, 11 mph

:22:13. > :22:15.for a woman. Rather them than me! Some people will be running the

:22:16. > :22:20.marathon for the first time. Others have more experience, like my guest.

:22:21. > :22:29.In marathon coach. Five times or six? Five. What would your advice be

:22:30. > :22:33.to first timers? Speaker MAG run the London marathon is such a fantastic

:22:34. > :22:36.experience and most people are nervous with a few days to go so I

:22:37. > :22:42.would say calm down, just the training, you're ready.

:22:43. > :22:45.Incredible side, they must start, is that a difficult time for runners

:22:46. > :22:51.all bunched together? Not really, I think it is something to be enjoyed

:22:52. > :22:54.and expected with the marathon. 40,000 people running altogether

:22:55. > :22:58.around London, it is a fantastic experience for somebody to do. We

:22:59. > :23:02.are quite biased, we think of this is the best in the world. From your

:23:03. > :23:08.experience, how does it compare? It is the best in the world! It is in

:23:09. > :23:12.London, such an iconic city. The crowd and supporters are fantastic.

:23:13. > :23:18.The iconic landmarks on the route is fantastic, the organisation is

:23:19. > :23:22.impeccable. I am in agreement. Matthew Bradford there is not

:23:23. > :23:27.running on Sunday, otherwise it might not be good to exert yourself

:23:28. > :23:31.this Post a marathon. The if I were running for a short period of time.

:23:32. > :23:34.The incredible thing about this is the realisation just how fast those

:23:35. > :23:39.elite world-class marathon runners go. This is running really quickly,

:23:40. > :23:43.at two or three days, just for a short period of time. You will be

:23:44. > :23:46.all right. Quite incredible to see in jeans! I think he just about did

:23:47. > :23:50.it and there will be plenty of inspiration on Sunday as well.

:23:51. > :23:51.Yes, it is always quite a sight. Thank you.

:23:52. > :23:53.On that note, let's see how the weather's

:23:54. > :23:55.looking for the Marathon and the next few days.

:23:56. > :24:02.Yes, it is going to be dry for the marathon. A little warm in the

:24:03. > :24:06.afternoon. Decent day today, tomorrow could look similar to this.

:24:07. > :24:11.Beautiful picture from Regents Park, not far away from you. Still got

:24:12. > :24:14.high-pressure sitting over us. This weather front was very weak today

:24:15. > :24:18.but didn't threaten one or two showers. We had a line of them are

:24:19. > :24:21.quite slow-moving. This line has been pushing at way southwards. This

:24:22. > :24:26.lumpiness in the cloud here could still produce one or two showers,

:24:27. > :24:29.perhaps across the North. Over the next two hours, they will tend to

:24:30. > :24:32.fade away overnight as that cloud moves its way southwards and breaks

:24:33. > :24:38.up later on. Not a complete blanket of cloud by any means but not a cold

:24:39. > :24:43.night. As we head into tomorrow, maybe some early sunshine. It will

:24:44. > :24:46.cloud over a bit. Might get a shower but probably will not. I do not

:24:47. > :24:48.think it will amount to anything and then a bit more sunshine as we head

:24:49. > :24:56.into the abdomen. Temperatures should be a little higher than

:24:57. > :24:58.today, despite the fact was to be a lot of cloud around. 17, possibly 18

:24:59. > :25:01.degrees in the centre of London. Into the weekend, we have got all

:25:02. > :25:05.the more cloud on the scene, especially to the north and east of

:25:06. > :25:08.London. Could give us a few drizzly showers. A week weather front

:25:09. > :25:13.responsible for that, which will tend to fade away and most places

:25:14. > :25:17.will have a dry day, if rather cloudy. Those of London, slightly

:25:18. > :25:23.cooler fresher air towards the north. The really cold is yet to

:25:24. > :25:26.reach of as we head into Sunday for the marathon, still high-pressure

:25:27. > :25:29.around and it will be dry. It is behind that weather from today that

:25:30. > :25:33.there is some very much colder. It will arrive probably during the

:25:34. > :25:38.course of next week, but for a time being it is on the mild side.

:25:39. > :25:42.Temperatures for Sunday 16, possibly 17 degrees. It starts to get colder

:25:43. > :25:45.probably through Monday and introduced it. Again, very little

:25:46. > :25:50.rain at all. Darren, thank you very much indeed.

:25:51. > :25:55.That is it from us for now. More on our Facebook page and website and we

:25:56. > :25:58.will be back with a related news. From any and all of the team, thank

:25:59. > :26:01.you very much for watching and enjoy your evening. -- from myself and all

:26:02. > :26:05.the team.
