:00:17. > :00:19.Three women have been arrested on suspicion of terror offences

:00:20. > :00:23.The arrests are being linked to the counter-terrorism operation

:00:24. > :00:25.that saw a woman shot and injured in Willesden last week.

:00:26. > :00:28.Tolu Adeoye is at Scotland Yard for us tonight.

:00:29. > :00:35.Tolu, what's the latest from the Yard?

:00:36. > :00:42.Police have told us that the three women are teenagers. Two of them are

:00:43. > :00:48.18, one is 19 years old. They were arrested at three separate addresses

:00:49. > :00:51.in east London under the suspicion of admission, preparation and

:00:52. > :00:56.instigation of terrorist acts. Police say they are now being held

:00:57. > :01:01.in custody outside London. The Met have confirmed that the arrests were

:01:02. > :01:05.part of an ongoing terrorism investigation at a house in north

:01:06. > :01:09.London. It was there that a 21-year-old woman was shot and

:01:10. > :01:14.injured by armed officers. Six others were arrested, including five

:01:15. > :01:18.in north London and one in Kent. It was information gathered during that

:01:19. > :01:22.operation that led to this arrest. We have any more details on the

:01:23. > :01:26.women who were shot on Thursday night? She was discharged from

:01:27. > :01:33.hospital yesterday and then arrested on suspicion of the same offences as

:01:34. > :01:38.the other suspects. That means seven of them are women. One is a

:01:39. > :01:42.16-year-old boy. Police have described this as a filing of an act

:01:43. > :01:46.of terror plot. Investigations are very much ongoing, but there have

:01:47. > :01:46.not yet been any charges. Thank you for that update.

:01:47. > :01:50.In the last half hour, the emergency services have

:01:51. > :01:52.confirmed that two children are being treated for life

:01:53. > :01:54.threatening injuries after a house fire in Essex.

:01:55. > :01:56.Emergency services are still at the scene

:01:57. > :01:59.A 13-year-old boy has been airlifted to the Royal London Hospital,

:02:00. > :02:02.while a ten-year-old boy has been taken to Basildon Hospital.

:02:03. > :02:06.We'll have more on that in our late bulletin.

:02:07. > :02:08.Detectives investigating a fatal stabbing on a bus in central London

:02:09. > :02:10.have charged a 38-year-old man with murder.

:02:11. > :02:13.Archie Sheppard, who was 48, was found dead on the top deck

:02:14. > :02:22.of a bus in Marylebone on Thursday night.

:02:23. > :02:25.Labour has said it would introduce tougher standards for rented housing

:02:26. > :02:28.in London and, "Call time on bad landlords," if it wins

:02:29. > :02:33.Councils would receive powers to licence landlords and fine those

:02:34. > :02:37.The plans follow a scheme introduced in one London borough last year.

:02:38. > :02:48.An early surprise and a snap inspection.

:02:49. > :02:58.These sorts of raids happen twice a week in Newham.

:02:59. > :03:00.It's been singled out as the council that's

:03:01. > :03:01.toughest in London on

:03:02. > :03:04.There's quite a serious gas leak in this property.

:03:05. > :03:06.We think it's coming from the cooker.

:03:07. > :03:14.You need a licence to rent out a house or a

:03:15. > :03:16.flat here and the council's prosecuted more than 1,000 people

:03:17. > :03:18.they think aren't keeping their properties in good enough condition.

:03:19. > :03:22.It's this example that Labour wants to build on

:03:23. > :03:27.They say you have more rights buying a fridge than

:03:28. > :03:32.In London, you see some of the worst of anywhere in

:03:33. > :03:36.Faulty wiring, serious damp and vermin and our plan to put

:03:37. > :03:39.proper consumer rights in place for those renters will start

:03:40. > :03:42.The Conservatives have dismissed Labour's plan as

:03:43. > :03:47.They argue that the tenants would bear

:03:48. > :03:50.the cost of any new regulation in the form of higher rent.

:03:51. > :03:53.Instead, they argue that the way you deal with

:03:54. > :03:56.the problem of rogue landlords is to deal with them one by one.

:03:57. > :03:57.Good morning. Hi, sorry to disturb you.

:03:58. > :04:11.Last week, London's Mayor announced he will set up

:04:12. > :04:13.an online database to name and shame dodgy landlords.

:04:14. > :04:15.But with private tenants now outnumbering homeowners

:04:16. > :04:17.in London, and rents rising faster here than anywhere

:04:18. > :04:19.else in the country, some argue regulating

:04:20. > :04:22.The Liberal Democrats are absolutely committed

:04:23. > :04:24.to the nine million people in this country

:04:25. > :04:26.who rent, to make sure that

:04:27. > :04:29.it is not seen as a second-class option, to protect them and give

:04:30. > :04:32.Because the reality is, we need to build more

:04:33. > :04:35.And that's a problem that no major party has

:04:36. > :04:43.It's been a pretty wet and grey bank holiday.

:04:44. > :04:45.With a look at the week's weather, here's Ben Rich.

:04:46. > :04:49.Yes, many of us got to see some sunshine this bank

:04:50. > :04:52.holiday Monday, but there were also some hit and miss downpours and

:04:53. > :04:54.some more showers on the menu for tomorrow, after what will be

:04:55. > :04:59.Some of those showers continuing if you're heading

:05:00. > :05:02.out and about through this evening, particularly down towards the south

:05:03. > :05:05.They will then fade away overnight, to

:05:06. > :05:09.leave some clear spells and it will get a little bit chilly.

:05:10. > :05:11.Some spots down to about three or four degrees.

:05:12. > :05:14.There could be a touch of frost, particularly out in the countryside

:05:15. > :05:19.Tomorrow, we should get off to quite a bright start.

:05:20. > :05:23.Gradually, though, more cloud tending to build its way

:05:24. > :05:25.And that will produce some showers into

:05:26. > :05:28.Some of these could be on the heavy side.

:05:29. > :05:31.Equally some spots will avoid the showers and stay dry.

:05:32. > :05:33.The best of the temperatures up to around 18

:05:34. > :05:38.Looking further ahead, we are going to struggle a little bit

:05:39. > :05:39.with temperatures through Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

:05:40. > :05:43.There will always be a fair amount of cloud around and one or two
