:07:11. > :07:12.The Liberal Democrats have been completely consistent on thhs over
:07:13. > :07:15.many decades and we will continue to fight Heathrow expansion
:07:16. > :07:19.The by-election is expected to take place in early December.

:07:32. > :07:35.political editor joins me. How awkward is this by-election for the
:07:36. > :07:40.Government? Well, it is awkward and the Liberal Democrats will certainly
:07:41. > :07:44.fancy their chances. But medium to long-term I am not sure how much
:07:45. > :07:47.damage it's going to do. Thd Conservatives, the Government,
:07:48. > :07:50.Theresa May, always had to factor this in, they always knew Z`c
:07:51. > :07:53.Goldsmith was going to do this. They're not standing their own
:07:54. > :07:57.candidate, they take the vidw let's get this out of the way and move on.
:07:58. > :08:01.You could argue they will think if this is the best it gets, Z`c
:08:02. > :08:09.Goldsmith leading the opposhtion, they might be happy long-term,
:08:10. > :08:12.contrast that with Justine Greening, Boris Johnson, if their scope for
:08:13. > :08:15.protest is curtailed, they're not going to be able to whip up
:08:16. > :08:20.opposition long-term and it's clear from Boris Johnson, in parthcular,
:08:21. > :08:21.he has no intention of resigning and giving up his rather big current

:08:25. > :08:28.amount of disruption. There are colossal problems

:08:32. > :08:48.in which London will be flown over We know still a lot of hurdles to
:08:49. > :08:52.overcome. Dare I ask, how mtch turbulence can we expect? A major
:08:53. > :08:59.planning application to be drawn up, a long way to go. We will sde legal
