:01:26. > :01:31.stripped naked. The two of them both engaged them in sexual activity. A

:01:32. > :01:34.lot of it is about with sexual offences, it's about control, it's

:01:35. > :01:39.violence and satisfying their sexual urges that he clearly displayed

:01:40. > :01:46.through the trial. His Jubilee Christian centre is one of more tan

:01:47. > :01:49.240 black majority churches in the south London borough of Southwark.

:01:50. > :01:53.According to research by the University of Roehampton, this is

:01:54. > :01:59.the largest concentration of African Christianity in the world, outside

:02:00. > :02:03.of Africa. But the growth of these independent churches presents some

:02:04. > :02:07.serious challenges. We have a whole range of structures that exist and

:02:08. > :02:13.leaders need to be introduced and need to know these opportunities to

:02:14. > :02:16.get their churches plugged into an accountability framework so that

:02:17. > :02:22.they don't get caught out, when temptations come. The judge said

:02:23. > :02:26.both defendants had breached the trust invested in them, that they'd

:02:27. > :02:30.carried out their offences in a locked office and that they

:02:31. > :02:33.prevented the victims from talking about what had happened. He

:02:34. > :02:39.sentenced them both to three years in prison.

:02:40. > :02:41.15 current and former officers and staff from Bedfordshire Police

:02:42. > :02:46.are being investigated by the police watchdog for gross misconduct,

:02:47. > :02:49.for racial discrimination against an Asian police officer.

:02:50. > :02:53.Harmit Bahra was awarded more than ?200,000 in 2014,

:02:54. > :02:56.after he won an employment tribunal against the force.

:02:57. > :02:59.Only three of those being investigated are still working

:04:24. > :04:27.150 school children were found to be carrying knives.

:04:28. > :04:31.In 2016 this had risen to nearly 300.

:04:32. > :04:35.With London's young people exposed to more knife crime than ever before

:04:36. > :04:37.experts are calling for much more to be done.

:04:38. > :04:41.One of the capital's reading trauma surgeon says that by teaching

:04:42. > :04:44.children how to save lives it could turn them away from being

:04:45. > :04:49.You have to start with age-appropriate information,

:04:50. > :04:51.not just to install the right mindset and the myths

:04:52. > :04:55.and realities around it, but also the value of life and how

:04:56. > :05:05.What better way to do that than educating children

:05:06. > :05:11.If we had someone, let's say it's me, I have been stabbed in the arm,

:05:12. > :05:16.Here at this school a London based charity is delivering

:05:17. > :05:20.They say training like this should be rolled out

:05:21. > :05:29.If it happens to anyone you know or a family member, you can help them.

:05:30. > :05:35.If they're stabbed, raise their arms so the blood starts going back in

:05:36. > :05:40.and stop it from dripping and call 999. Until first aid training like

:05:41. > :05:43.this is rolled out across schools, London will rely on volunteers and

:05:44. > :05:48.charities to provide these lessons and mothers will still worry.

:05:49. > :05:51.It wouldn't surprise me if I went to Justin's bag right now to find a

:05:52. > :05:56.knife. It would not surprise me at all. I expect it now.

:05:57. > :05:59.Finally, today was the last day of trading at London's

:06:00. > :06:01.biggest flower market, as it prepares to move again.

:06:02. > :06:03.New Covent Garden market has been based in Nine Elms

:06:04. > :06:06.in south-west London since moving from the West End in the '70s.
