:00:49. > :00:50.rebuilding works continue, but works are taking

:00:51. > :00:55.Great for passengers in the long term, but not so great

:00:56. > :01:01.Network Rail say the number of people using the trains over

:01:02. > :01:03.Easter drops by half, so it's a great time

:01:04. > :01:07.Here at Waterloo, they're taking full advantage of that drop

:01:08. > :01:09.in passengers by upgrading the tracks and the signals,

:01:10. > :01:11.in order to increase the number of trains.

:01:12. > :01:14.But compared to some of the other stations,

:01:22. > :01:26.And for the second half, the line into Cannon Street stays closed.

:01:27. > :01:28.At Liverpool Street, there will be a big reduction in trains,

:01:29. > :01:31.so if you're travelling towards Norfolk or Suffolk

:01:32. > :01:33.you'll need to factor in a tube or a bus journey.

:01:34. > :01:36.Then on Easter Sunday, for one day only, Southern won't run

:01:37. > :01:38.any trains from Victoria, and there will be no

:01:46. > :01:52.At London Bridge, rail users have had four years of disruption caused

:01:53. > :01:56.That's finally due to be completed next summer.

:01:57. > :01:59.We're very confident around the works we are doing

:02:00. > :02:01.here and we are bang on programme for where we need

:02:02. > :02:06.There will be some finishing off works beyond Christmas,

:02:07. > :02:11.but we're looking for substantial completion by around May 2018.

:02:12. > :02:15.Come Tuesday, lines will reopen, trains will run and commuters

:02:16. > :02:21.But at London Bridge, the 24-hour operation continues.

:02:22. > :02:24.There's still much more to do and more closures to come

:02:25. > :03:04.if they're to have it all open on time next year.

:03:05. > :03:06.Parents of children with severe special needs in Surrey are fighting

:03:07. > :03:08.plans to close a local care centre, which provides short

:03:26. > :03:28.He's got limited mobility, hardly any speech or understanding.

:03:29. > :03:30.When Paul found out that the local Beeches respite home was closing,

:03:31. > :03:32.it left him deeply worried about his son's future.

:03:33. > :03:36.What that's meant for us as a family, it's means we've

:03:37. > :03:38.continued to be able to keep James with us at home.

:03:39. > :03:41.It's really hard to cope, and without that respite

:03:42. > :04:17.It says it wasn't confident to provide a viable affordable

:04:18. > :04:20.programme, and said it found other providers were better placed

:04:21. > :04:23.Despite her obvious abilities on a trampoline, seven-year-old

:04:24. > :04:25.Livvy has a range of conditions that require both social

:04:26. > :04:29.And the other providers that were being offered to look around,

:04:30. > :04:32.they may be suitable to a certain extent, but there's no nursing care

:04:33. > :04:39.The parents also argue that respite care is more cost-effective

:04:40. > :04:41.than putting their children in residential units.

:04:42. > :04:50.That's an argument they've yet to win with the NHS.

:05:19. > :05:21.We have a cloudy night ahead, even a bit of light rain for a time.

:05:22. > :05:24.Tomorrow, mainly cloudy first thing, but it won't be long before the sun

:05:25. > :05:30.makes an appearance more readily than it did today.

:05:31. > :05:52.Good sunny spells tomorrow, but it will be a cooler feeling day.

:05:53. > :06:12.Good evening. I don't think everybody was a happy bunny today

:06:13. > :06:15.with the weather. We had some rain. Some of it was on the heavy side,

:06:16. > :06:20.particularly across northern parts of Wales. All these things are true

:06:25. > :06:31.this chilly air coming in from the North. Vermijl they're never quite

:06:32. > :06:35.us. -- is a mild air never quite reaches us. It's a case of cool

:06:36. > :06:39.winds coming in from the North. Here's the extensive cloud cover we

:06:40. > :06:43.had today. There was some sunshine but a weather front was across the

:06:44. > :06:47.country and gave a fair bit of heavy rain across some parts of Wales. The

:06:48. > :06:52.weather front is across the South. There is two of them. This is a

:06:53. > :06:53.distinct feature, spots of rain on and off through
