:00:13. > :00:17.BBC London has been shown footage of one of the London Bridge
:00:18. > :00:20.attackers, Khuram Butt, who, with his accomplices,
:00:21. > :00:24.killed eight people last month near Borough Market.
:00:25. > :00:26.The pictures show Butt arguing with another man
:00:27. > :00:32.The man he was arguing with, who gave BBC London the footage,
:00:33. > :00:38.He claims Butt told him he should be killed for leaving the faith.
:00:39. > :00:42.not telling the police about what happened.
:00:43. > :00:47.Gareth Furby has this exclusive reports.
:00:48. > :00:51.This is the ringleader of the London Bridge terror attack,
:00:52. > :00:55.Khuram Butt, wearing a Superman sweatshirt and arguing with other
:00:56. > :00:58.people at Hyde Park Corner just months before he organised
:00:59. > :01:07.We know it's him because it has been confirmed to us today by a relative.
:01:08. > :01:10.And compare his face pictured at Hyde Park with the image
:01:11. > :01:16.issued after the London Bridge attack in June.
:01:17. > :01:18.Butt is seen smiling, but just moments before
:01:19. > :01:22.the mobile-phone camera had been turned on to capture him arguing,
:01:23. > :01:27.he told a former Muslim he should be killed for leaving the religion.
:01:28. > :01:31.The man that was threatened is called Aftal.
:01:32. > :01:33.He comes from north-west London and has asked us
:01:34. > :01:36.to withhold his identity, so we've used a producer
:01:37. > :01:46.Were also going to show you some of the things Khuram Butt said at the
:01:47. > :01:48.time. He came up and said I want
:01:49. > :01:50.to have a discussion. He turned suddenly and got personal
:01:51. > :01:53.and started threatening that He was just threatening and very
:01:54. > :01:57.aggressive but when the people started to come, he just got
:01:58. > :02:02.a bit calmer. He said, "If you don't obey my
:02:03. > :02:07.religion, you should be killed." I knew it, you know,
:02:08. > :02:10.this guy was going to do I just regret, why didn't
:02:11. > :02:21.I inform this to the police? Because if I did, I could
:02:22. > :02:23.have saved many lives. Maybe the police
:02:24. > :02:25.would have listened. This mobile-phone footage,
:02:26. > :02:29.filmed we were told, last August, was given to us at the weekend
:02:30. > :02:32.after we visited a London address It's the headquarters of a group
:02:33. > :02:39.who called themselves the They claim a growing membership
:02:40. > :02:44.and say in London some people Sadia Hamid says she left
:02:45. > :02:51.the religion when she was 19. Because of the inequality
:02:52. > :02:55.between men and women. Now she claims people
:02:56. > :02:58.who work here faced threats. Threats of being shot,
:02:59. > :03:03.threats of being bombed. Another ex-Muslim says
:03:04. > :03:07.he's been threatened in London The threats, I went on a bus,
:03:08. > :03:12.for example, one day, and two people recognised me,
:03:13. > :03:14.and they said, This weekend, the group organised
:03:15. > :03:18.a conference at a London address that wasn't revealed
:03:19. > :03:22.to anyone except those involved, We can fight for the right to leave
:03:23. > :03:28.and criticise religion, and especially Islam,
:03:29. > :03:33.without fear, without threats, A leading London imam says no true
:03:34. > :03:38.Muslim would threaten anyone Islam does not promote
:03:39. > :03:46.hatred, homophobia or Islam promotes equality,
:03:47. > :03:50.dignity and honour of all people. But some ex-Muslims disagree,
:03:51. > :03:53.and it was at this conference that Aftal gave us this mobile-phone
:03:54. > :03:56.footage of his encounter with the leader of the London Bridge
:03:57. > :04:04.attack, Khuram Butt. I felt really bad
:04:05. > :04:06.when the attacks happened. I could have reported him
:04:07. > :04:08.to the police. And tonight the Met Police said
:04:09. > :04:11.that they'd encourage the public So you've probably heard the news
:04:12. > :04:23.that new diesel and petrol cars But what kind of an impact
:04:24. > :04:27.will that have in London? but can the city cope with having
:04:28. > :04:31.to charge all those batteries? This new superfast charger
:04:32. > :04:38.for electric cars It cuts charging time
:04:39. > :04:45.from 3-4 hours to half an hour. 100 more are planned in the borough,
:04:46. > :04:48.but we're going to need a lot more like this if the whole of London
:04:49. > :04:51.is going to be driving According to TfL,
:04:52. > :04:57.there are already 1600 electric cars here in the capital,
:04:58. > :05:02.and around 8000 charging points. But right now there are 2.6 million
:05:03. > :05:06.cars on our roads, so what's the priority in preparing
:05:07. > :05:10.for that many electric cars? I think it's just a question
:05:11. > :05:15.of getting charging points in place. If you're installing
:05:16. > :05:18.charging points from scratch, it's a tricky process with planning
:05:19. > :05:20.applications and all that stuff, but if you're just installing
:05:21. > :05:24.a socket on the side of a lamp post, But many in the capital say
:05:25. > :05:30.the focus on electric cars and a date 23 years away is a red
:05:31. > :05:35.herring and that today's cleaner strategy from the Government
:05:36. > :05:37.won't help our immediate The Environment Secretary has
:05:38. > :05:43.pledged ?225 million for local authorities to tackle their worst
:05:44. > :05:47.roads, but City Hall has repeated its claim for a diesel scrappage
:05:48. > :05:50.scheme in the capital, We think targeting, you know,
:05:51. > :05:59.a couple of roads here and there If you look around London,
:06:00. > :06:02.we have multiple roads breaching the pollution limits,
:06:03. > :06:05.so you need an area approach and the funding to be
:06:06. > :06:07.able to tackle that. Finding a solution and fast
:06:08. > :06:09.is pressing. Air pollution contributes
:06:10. > :06:11.to 9000 premature deaths A businessman from north London
:06:12. > :06:23.has been found guilty of being part of a conspiracy to pass off

:06:29. > :06:30.heard how Andronicos Sideras, one of the owners of Dinos Sons
:06:31. > :06:34.in Tottenham, mixed the meats Two other men had already pleaded
:06:35. > :06:40.guilty to their part in the plot. Rail passengers are being warned
:06:41. > :06:43.they could have to wait up to 45 minutes at rush hour while major
:06:44. > :06:46.improvement work is carried out Around half of it will close
:06:47. > :06:53.for most of August, which wll also have an impact on Clapham Junction,
:06:54. > :06:55.Vauxhall, Wimbledon, and other stations used
:06:56. > :07:04.by South West Trains. More than one in ten women
:07:05. > :07:06.who die within a year Yet the mental health of pregnant
:07:07. > :07:11.women and new mothers is something which isn't often talked about,
:07:12. > :07:14.which is why a hospital in Paddington is trying
:07:15. > :07:17.to change things. When Pippa fell pregnant, she says
:07:18. > :07:29.she shouldn't have been happier. Her daughter was wanted,
:07:30. > :07:35.she was in a happy, stable relationship,
:07:36. > :07:36.so she couldn't understand I always thought being depressed
:07:37. > :07:40.was being sad and tired, and I was really angry and did have
:07:41. > :07:43.thoughts of not wanting to be here, not because I didn't want
:07:44. > :07:46.to be here and be alive, just because I didn't feel like
:07:47. > :07:49.I could cope with all of it. There was one moment
:07:50. > :07:51.when I came driving home, and I wondered what it would
:07:52. > :07:54.be like if I crashed my car. While postnatal depression
:07:55. > :07:56.is widely recognised, having mental-health problems
:07:57. > :08:02.when you are pregnant One in five women
:08:03. > :08:06.in the UK who have a baby It is the most common side effect
:08:07. > :08:10.of pregnancy and it is dangerous. One in seven women who die
:08:11. > :08:14.in the first year of their baby's life will have killed themselves,
:08:15. > :08:17.so why does no-one talk about it? It makes you feel like you're
:08:18. > :08:20.failing, it makes you feel like you're not being the mother
:08:21. > :08:25.that your child deserves. And telling someone
:08:26. > :08:34.that, that is hard. This woman leads a team
:08:35. > :08:37.at St Mary's Hospital who treat pregnant women and new mothers
:08:38. > :08:39.who have mental-health problems. I'm finding it hard to get out
:08:40. > :08:44.of bed in the morning. A ?3 million grant means
:08:45. > :08:46.the centre can offer help Abuse victims, new mums who can't
:08:47. > :08:52.bond with their baby. Society doesn't give women
:08:53. > :09:02.permission to become unwell or to be honest
:09:03. > :09:05.about how unwell they can feel. Many women have fear of childbirth,
:09:06. > :09:08.or they might feel very strange with their babies and these feelings
:09:09. > :09:15.are very difficult to disclose. Are they normal?
:09:16. > :09:19.They are absolutely normal. 11 weeks old and baby
:09:20. > :09:21.and mother have nothing The secret is catching the signs
:09:22. > :09:28.early to secure a happy future. Finally, cars parked in private
:09:29. > :09:31.driveways on a road in Gants Hill have been regularly getting fines
:09:32. > :09:36.because the ends of their cars Residents are furious,
:09:37. > :09:41.saying there's nothing they can do about it,
:09:42. > :09:44.as the driveways were constructed as early as the 1920s
:09:45. > :09:48.when cars were smaller. Redbridge Council says
:09:49. > :09:50.they'll work with residents to Ben has the weather for us,
:09:51. > :10:09.and quite wet at times today, Ben. It certainly was, some outbreaks of
:10:10. > :10:14.rain in places, but that was not the whole story. Things started pretty
:10:15. > :10:18.bright for the Weather Watchers, but things clouded over, and cloud
:10:19. > :10:24.brought outbreaks of rain, and tomorrow will see heavy showers and
:10:25. > :10:28.some sunshine, particularly during the afternoon. It is fine at the
:10:29. > :10:32.moment, and it stays dry through tonight, although more in the way of
:10:33. > :10:38.cloud creeping in from the west later in the night, 12-14d. Tomorrow
:10:39. > :10:42.gets off to a largely dry start, if a cloudy one. The cloud will be
:10:43. > :10:47.thin, I suspect it will be bright but not desperately sunny. Into the
:10:48. > :10:50.afternoon, the sun will break through, more brightness, but the
:10:51. > :10:54.showers will turn quite heavy, and there could be thundered mixed in as
:10:55. > :11:01.well, highs of 18-21, quite a blustery wind. On Friday, rain from
:11:02. > :11:06.the west, then sunshine and showers at the weekend. If you are heading

:11:27. > :11:29.because it is bringing weather systems, and it forms on the

:11:33. > :11:36.we are on the wrong side of the jet stream at the moment, we have got
:11:37. > :11:41.cooler and low pressure in charge. It will be with us through the week
:11:42. > :11:45.and a weekend, and this weather front has cleared, but we have some
:11:46. > :11:49.nasty showers at present, south-west Scotland, boogie across north-west
