:00:26. > :00:27.Jermaine Goupall was attacked with knives and a machete

:00:28. > :00:32.He's the 15th young victim of knife crime in the capital this year.

:00:33. > :00:34.Police know some people saw what happened -

:00:35. > :00:36.they're urging witnesses not to remain silent.

:00:37. > :00:44.A week on, the flowers left here are fading.

:00:45. > :00:46.The messages to a sweet, loving young man.

:00:47. > :00:52.15-year-old Jermaine Goupall, stabbed to death at this spot.

:00:53. > :01:01.He was always smiling, always had something funny to say.

:01:02. > :01:10.Jermaine's sister thinks he was attacked as he

:01:11. > :01:17.Targeted by three men in balaclavas, armed with knives and a machete.

:01:18. > :01:20.Tilisha tells me she spoke to her brother about the dangers

:01:21. > :01:24.of knife crime, but never thought he would be a victim.

:01:25. > :01:31.You know, if someone was in that lifestyle,

:01:32. > :01:33.then you kind of expect it, but when they are not

:01:34. > :01:39.There are a lot of "I don't understand" questions.

:01:40. > :01:42.That's how we're feeling at the moment.

:01:43. > :01:45.Today, two boys aged 16 and 17, and an 18-year-old woman,

:01:46. > :01:47.appeared at the Old Bailey, charged with Jermaine's murder.

:01:48. > :01:53.Police are struggling, though, to get witnesses to speak to them.

:01:54. > :01:55.Earlier, on the same day that Jermaine was attacked,

:01:56. > :01:58.on the same spot, there was another incident.

:01:59. > :02:02.Some on mopeds, some armed with sticks.

:02:03. > :02:06.Police are trying to establish if the two cases are linked.

:02:07. > :02:12.This area has unfortunately suffered from an increase in youth violence.

:02:13. > :02:15.I know working with the local borough, they're doing a lot

:02:16. > :02:17.of work around this, working with local authorities.

:02:18. > :02:19.We just want information that is going to help us in this

:02:20. > :02:23.enquiry and to try and find out why this has happened to Jermaine.

:02:24. > :02:25.It's thought some are too scared to come forward.

:02:26. > :02:28.Even some of Jermaine's friends who were with him that

:02:29. > :02:32.I understand that they may have fear in terms of making

:02:33. > :02:38.But it's important that they do, because I don't want my brother

:02:39. > :02:43.to die in vain and what happened to him to be in vain.

:02:44. > :02:48.A fundraising page has been setup to help pay for Jermaine's funeral,

:03:10. > :03:11.shows smoke emerging from the Boodles store before

:03:12. > :03:13.the suspects make off on bikes, carrying bags of stolen goods.

:03:14. > :03:19.Tarah Welsh is here and can tell us more.

:03:20. > :03:27.Talk us through what happened. As you said, the raid was all captured

:03:28. > :03:32.by a mobile phone from somebody in a nearby building, but that it shows a

:03:33. > :03:37.group of criminals pulling up to the jewellers on mopeds is just after

:03:38. > :03:41.10:30pm. Two Govind, one has a sledgehammer and they smashed their

:03:42. > :03:47.way to the counter displays. Some sort of smoke bomb is less self, you

:03:48. > :03:50.can see smoke emerging as getaway driver 's circle outside. Not long

:03:51. > :03:55.after they arrived the criminals are wrote and make a very speedy

:03:56. > :04:01.getaway. This is just one example of an increasing number of crimes on

:04:02. > :04:06.mopeds. There have been smash and grab is like this, acid attacks and

:04:07. > :04:13.mobile phone thefts. This is a big problem for the match? Look at the

:04:14. > :04:20.figures, last year there were 5647 crimes on motorcycles or mopeds. It

:04:21. > :04:24.has tripled this year. 17,897 crimes. It seems to be the vehicle

:04:25. > :04:28.of choice for criminals. Scotland Yard said no arrests have been made

:04:29. > :04:32.in this case yet, nobody was injured, but you can imagine a

:04:33. > :04:33.terrifying experience for anyone involved. Thank you.

:04:34. > :04:35.Two people have pleaded not guilty to manslaughter

:04:36. > :04:37.after a seven-year-old girl died when the bouncy castle

:04:38. > :04:43.Summer Grant suffered serious injuries at a funfair

:04:44. > :04:46.Fairground workers Shelby and William Thurston

:04:47. > :04:48.from Cambridgeshire, appeared at Chelmsford

:04:49. > :04:54.NHS patients are calling for a private ambulance service

:04:55. > :04:56.to be stripped of its contract after cancer and kidney

:04:57. > :05:01.dialysis patients missed crucial appointments.

:05:02. > :05:04.The company involved - P.A.S - has admitted letting down dozens

:05:05. > :05:09.It has since apologised and says improvements are being made.

:05:10. > :05:16.83-year-old David Gower has a severe neurological condition,

:05:17. > :05:22.He's been relying on the Private Ambulance Service to get

:05:23. > :05:25.to crucial appointments, but the former railway manager

:05:26. > :05:29.has been left waiting at his home in Luton

:05:30. > :05:32.I've been let down four to five times.

:05:33. > :05:44.I'm asking myself, "What have I done to deserve this?"

:05:45. > :05:48.And the last time when I was so badly let down,

:05:49. > :05:51.at the podiatry or the foot clinic, I'm afraid I had a stress tremor.

:05:52. > :05:59.It lasted for about two and a half weeks.

:06:00. > :06:01.Since March, the Private Ambulance Service has been contracted to carry

:06:02. > :06:06.out 17,000 patient journeys every month across Hertfordshire

:06:07. > :06:09.and Bedfordshire, but in just four months, more than 100 people have

:06:10. > :06:15.lodged complaints - including cancer and kidney dialysis patients.

:06:16. > :06:17.The company says it hasn't had enough ambulances, and some haven't

:06:18. > :06:22.It admits significant delays in picking up

:06:23. > :06:25.and dropping off patients, and problems for people trying

:06:26. > :06:31.The Luton Clinical Commissioning Group has told the Private Ambulance

:06:32. > :06:34.Service that it's now got just a month to dramatically

:06:35. > :06:39.improve its performance or it'll face a heavy fine.

:06:40. > :06:41.The company says it is very sorry for letting down

:06:42. > :06:43.so many sick patients, but it says improvements

:06:44. > :06:49.Including increasing the number of ambulances and staff available,

:06:50. > :06:51.and improving response times at the company's call

:06:52. > :06:58.David Gower says, so far, he hasn't seen any improvements,

:06:59. > :07:02.and long queues to get through to the Private Ambulance

:07:03. > :07:09.I think their contact should be terminated at the end of this month.

:07:10. > :07:24.Westfield's expansion of its White city shopping centre will open six

:07:25. > :07:29.months ahead of schedule. The ?600 million extension will open in March

:07:30. > :07:33.next year. It will have new shops, restaurants and leisure space,

:07:34. > :07:36.including a new flagship John Lewis department store. Westfield is

:07:37. > :07:39.trying to counter the rise of online shopping by bringing more of its

:07:40. > :07:41.retailers to all of its shopping centres.

:07:42. > :07:44.When a team of Sea Cadets left London for a Tall Ships race around

:07:45. > :07:47.the seas of Northern Europe, they didn't expect to become

:07:48. > :07:49.the first British crew to win the event for 31 years.

:07:50. > :07:52.The group of 15 to 17 year-olds were given a triumphant homecoming

:07:53. > :07:59.Our reporter Chris Slegg joined them as they celebrated their victory.

:08:00. > :08:02.The celebratory return of TS Royalist - surprise winners of this

:08:03. > :08:05.year's Tall Ships' Race in the Baltics, beating 77 other

:08:13. > :08:14.where Tower Bridge was due to open in recognition

:08:15. > :08:23.Around 100 Sea Cadets took turns throughout the Tall Ships' Race,

:08:24. > :08:28.with 18 teenagers and six adults on board for two weeks at a time.

:08:29. > :08:31.We've got a good crew, so we all get along.

:08:32. > :08:33.It's not too bad, you don't notice how long you've been away.

:08:34. > :08:36.It still feels like the Monday we joined.

:08:37. > :08:38.The Sea Cadets gives opportunities to young people.

:08:39. > :08:41.It's supported by the Royal Navy and charitable donations.

:08:42. > :08:44.For many of these teenagers, this was their first race

:08:45. > :08:50.For the youngsters, it has been an absolutely fantastic trip.

:08:51. > :08:52.They've all had the time of their life.

:08:53. > :09:04.To mark that history-making moment, at just before 3pm this afternoon,

:09:05. > :09:07.the Port of London Authority agreed to open Tower Bridge

:09:08. > :09:15.Seeing so many people and having so much support for us.

:09:16. > :09:19.We haven't won in 32 years or something?

:09:24. > :09:27.It's really nice to bring home a wining ship.

:09:28. > :09:31.TS Royalist - Tall Ships' Race champion 2017.

:09:32. > :09:39.That's it for now from me, but lets find out what the weather's

:09:40. > :09:54.I certainly have. The next few days will be pretty changeable across the

:09:55. > :09:58.UK. As far as those years concerned, for us in the south-east it is a

:09:59. > :10:03.mixture of sunshine, showers and quite breezy day on Thursday. At the

:10:04. > :10:08.moment we have rain on the way, if you have left your washing out, it

:10:09. > :10:13.will get wet. Look at that rain coming through, pretty wet and soggy

:10:14. > :10:17.but not cold, temperatures no lower than around about 15 or 16 in the

:10:18. > :10:20.middle of the town or out in the countryside towards the North.

:10:21. > :10:24.The cloud and the rain might drag its heels in the morning but then it

:10:25. > :10:29.should be out of the way and we are left with a breezy day, a few

:10:30. > :10:33.showers, some of us will get sprinkles of rain, others won't, it

:10:34. > :10:37.is one of those days where almost anything could happen.

:10:38. > :10:42.By Friday a better day, but the winds will be stronger and in the

:10:43. > :10:45.afternoon we will probably catch some showers around.

:10:46. > :10:51.Top temperatures ending the working week at around 22 degrees in London.

:10:52. > :10:55.Saturday is looking pretty good, temperatures in the low 20s, but a

:10:56. > :11:00.change on the way for Sunday. We have got the remnants of the former

:11:01. > :11:03.Harry Kane, but it will bring some cloud and that is it. Let's see what

:11:04. > :11:16.Darren Bett is to say. Sunshine and showers for tomorrow, a

:11:17. > :11:20.spell of rain moves in from the West and clears away from Northern

:11:21. > :11:24.Ireland, just about, but we will see rather ragged rain, heavy at times

:11:25. > :11:28.with stronger winds, sweeping into England and Wales but clearing later

:11:29. > :11:31.from Scotland, back to Wales on the north-west. Temperatures will dip,

:11:32. > :11:35.but under the cloud and rain it will be quite a one night ahead.

:11:36. > :11:37.Still some cloud and rain early in the morning across southern and

:11:38. > :11:38.eastern England, it
