:00:00. > :00:17.I am Alex Bushill. so it's goodbye from me.

:00:18. > :00:23.A 16-year-old has been sentenced to three years in jail.

:00:24. > :00:26.The court heard he threw a single "superman" punch

:00:27. > :00:28.which knocked 40-year-old Arek Jozwitz to the ground

:00:29. > :00:31.The victim's family are said to be disappointed with the sentence.

:00:32. > :00:35.Alex Dunlop sent this report from outside Chelmsford Crown Court.

:00:36. > :00:38.The 16-year-old stood impassively in the dock as the judge told him

:00:39. > :00:48.that whatever sentence she handed down could not make up

:00:49. > :00:51.for the massive loss the family of Arek Jozwitz had suffered.

:00:52. > :00:53.When she sentenced the boy to three years in detention for manslaughter,

:00:54. > :00:57.his family shouted and cried out to him, he gave them a short wave

:00:58. > :01:09.Arek Jozwitz, who was 40, was a factory worker.

:01:10. > :01:11.He went to a shopping centre in Harlow late one Saturday

:01:12. > :01:16.night in August last year with a Polish friend.

:01:17. > :01:24.They were eating at a pizza in the precinct when they became

:01:25. > :01:30.embroiled in an argument with a group of teenager boys.

:01:31. > :01:33.A 15-year-old went up behind him and delivered what the court heard

:01:34. > :01:35.was a superman punch to the back of his head.

:01:36. > :01:37.He fell over, never regained consciousness

:01:38. > :01:41.Now this happened two months after the vote on Brexit

:01:42. > :01:43.and was seen at the time as a possible race-hate crime.

:01:44. > :01:46.Hundreds of Polish people in Harlow came out and held vigils.

:01:47. > :01:48.The Polish ambassador visited the town, followed a few days

:01:49. > :01:51.The issue was even raised in the European Parliament

:01:52. > :01:54.However, the evidence did not support that

:01:55. > :01:59.assertion and the teenager was convicted of manslaughter.

:02:00. > :02:01.Arek Jozwitz's mother and brother left the court without commenting

:02:02. > :02:05.but she did say that this was such a cruel death of my child,

:02:06. > :02:11.A man has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for killing a celebrity

:02:12. > :02:16.27-year-old Ricky Hayden was set on outside his home after seeing

:02:17. > :02:20.two youths he thought were about to steal a scooter.

:02:21. > :02:23.He was attacked with a machete by 20-year-old Tommy Roome,

:02:24. > :02:35.who was cleared of murder but convicted of manslaughter.

:02:36. > :02:39.Mr Hayden's family clapped as the sentence was handed down.

:02:40. > :02:42.It is a national first - driverless buses on the streets of London.

:02:43. > :02:44.And for the next fortnight, Londoners will be able

:02:45. > :02:46.to take a ride around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

:02:47. > :02:49.Using sensors, cameras, and GPS mapping - they are powered

:02:50. > :02:51.Our transport correspondent, Tom Edwards reports.

:02:52. > :02:59.This is an autonomous bus driven by computer, on trial on a 12-minute

:03:00. > :03:03.loop around the Olympic Park. Travelling at twomph, there is a

:03:04. > :03:08.staff member on board. We found two students to join us. I think they're

:03:09. > :03:12.fantastic. You can see now we are moving incredibly smoothly. At a

:03:13. > :03:17.decent pace, it's very safe. The technology is there, it's brilliant.

:03:18. > :03:20.You think computers are better drivers generally than human beings?

:03:21. > :03:24.From this ten-minute trip, probably, I would say. London is seeing a

:03:25. > :03:30.number of trials of driverless vehicles. This is the one in

:03:31. > :03:33.Greenwich. The Government is trying to make it easier to attract

:03:34. > :03:37.investment in autonomous vehicles. It's all part of a revolution that's

:03:38. > :03:41.going to change the lives of people across the world. We are going to

:03:42. > :03:46.see vehicles that can provide better transport options for people with

:03:47. > :03:49.disabilities, provide better public transport links at odd times of the

:03:50. > :03:53.day when a vehicle like this can fill a link that wouldn't otherwise

:03:54. > :03:59.be there. We are on the brink and starting a transport revolution.

:04:00. > :04:03.How safe is this technology? It uses cameras and lasers to scan the road,

:04:04. > :04:10.but what if someone walks in front of it? As you can see, it stops.

:04:11. > :04:14.Some think autonomous vehicles will reduce insurance and congestion.

:04:15. > :04:19.Others fear it will mean fewer jobs for drivers. These have already been

:04:20. > :04:23.tested in other cities. Is it safe? Of course it is, it needs to be

:04:24. > :04:26.developed over time and that's why trials like this are really

:04:27. > :04:29.important. We will be trialing this alongside pedestrians in a busy

:04:30. > :04:32.environment. We have had other smaller-scale trials and we are

:04:33. > :04:36.using that data to constantly improve. These are still early days

:04:37. > :04:44.in this emerging industry. This bus, which is free to catch, will be

:04:45. > :04:51.running until the end of the month. Now that's a brave correspondent for

:04:52. > :04:55.you! It's launched a campaign to crack

:04:56. > :04:59.down on incidents like this one in basil done. One of the 17,000

:05:00. > :05:05.clearups recorded by the council last year.

:05:06. > :05:08.For the first time, Transport for London has been able to track

:05:09. > :05:10.the movements of people using the tube -

:05:11. > :05:12.by collecting their wi-fi data. The anonymous data was harnessed

:05:13. > :05:15.during a four-week trial at the end of last year.

:05:16. > :05:17.TfL says that no personal information was collected,

:05:18. > :05:19.and hopes that it will help provide better information

:05:20. > :05:24.An all-female pro-wrestling outfit in East London says it's seen

:05:25. > :05:27.Promoters say it's after it was the theme

:05:28. > :05:33.Mohamed Madi has been to Bethnal Green to spend time

:05:34. > :05:35.with some real-life wrestlers, to hear their stories behind

:05:36. > :05:50.You are the wrestler that the fans have come to see.

:05:51. > :06:04.It's a feminist punk all-female pro-wrestling promotion.

:06:05. > :06:09.The first response would always be mud, oil, jelly and that really sums

:06:10. > :06:13.up what those misconceptions were and after Netflix made

:06:14. > :06:18.the series Glow it made them stop and maybe listen to us for a moment.

:06:19. > :06:22.For me, wrestlers are like superheroes.

:06:23. > :06:24.They're like Ironman and Wonder Woman.

:06:25. > :06:31.They're there to watch you perform and let you entertain them.

:06:32. > :06:33.I wrestle for pro-wrestling as a heel.

:06:34. > :06:37.A heel is someone that the fans love to hate.

:06:38. > :06:41.You surrender yourself to the devil on your shoulder.

:06:42. > :06:48.Going out there as a heel, it's just as satisfying to hear

:06:49. > :06:50.people chanting horrible stuff at you and booing you.

:06:51. > :06:52.It's like a buzz that you can't describe.

:06:53. > :06:58.And it means that you can pick up on things that you might not

:06:59. > :07:05.say to people normally because they're too personal.

:07:06. > :07:09.Fight like a girl is a strength, fight like a girl isn't weak.

:07:10. > :07:13.It's something that what you're fighting through to prove

:07:14. > :07:20.against everyone that women can wrestle as good as men,

:07:21. > :07:21.to fighting against anxiety, depression, eating

:07:22. > :07:30.fighting like a girl is fighting through that and succeeding.

:07:31. > :07:33.People who wrestle are such amazing individuals because everyone's

:07:34. > :07:35.got their own quirks, you have big characters.

:07:36. > :07:38.But at the same time everyone's humble enough to not take

:07:39. > :07:42.At the end of the day, we put spandex on and fight each

:07:43. > :07:50.other at weekends, so we can't take ourselves too seriously.

:07:51. > :07:55.Looks like to me they're taking them receives seriously, fabulous stuff.

:07:56. > :07:59.Let's check with the weekend weather.

:08:00. > :08:04.It looks like someone switched on the autumn nal switch. Today we have

:08:05. > :08:07.seen rain, a lot of cloud and some of that cloud fairly thick. It's

:08:08. > :08:09.just been a rather grey day all in all. We will continue this afternoon

:08:10. > :08:20.with further heavy showers. Heavy outbreaks of rain, all in all,

:08:21. > :08:23.it's a wet end to the week. A strengthening breeze pushing those

:08:24. > :08:28.showers, don't be too surprised if you hear thunder mixed in there, as

:08:29. > :08:31.well. The maximum temperature today struggles a little, 17 so feeling

:08:32. > :08:34.cool. The showers this evening will gradually start to become fewer and

:08:35. > :08:39.further between. They'll clear out of the way. The wind will fall light

:08:40. > :08:43.and the sky will clear. Temperatures on the whole dropping down to ten,

:08:44. > :08:46.11 in towns. Towards the countryside, perhaps cooler. Looks

:08:47. > :08:51.like a promising start to the weekend for Saturday. Short-lived I

:08:52. > :08:53.am afraid. Sunshine and brightness first thing in the morning but

:08:54. > :08:57.gradually through tomorrow afternoon that wind again will start to

:08:58. > :09:00.strengthen, blowing through some quite heavy showers for Saturday

:09:01. > :09:06.afternoon. Again don't be surprised if you hear thunder. The maximum

:09:07. > :09:09.temperature up to around 19. Sunday, it's a similar start, dry

:09:10. > :09:14.and bright but then heavy showers in the afternoon and it's going to be

:09:15. > :09:21.blustery as well. In short, the weather for the next few days is

:09:22. > :09:26.turning autumnal. That's it from me. Much more on all

:09:27. > :09:27.our stories on our website at the usual address. Bye, have a great

:09:28. > :09:46.weekend. Experience the power

:09:47. > :09:56.of the BBC Proms. Get in the party spirit

:09:57. > :10:05.and join us for the Last Night. I want a divorce. Talk to my lawyer.

:10:06. > :10:09.I'm keeping the CDs. In your dreams. I think I love you. I love you too.

:10:10. > :10:13.Let's move in together.
