0:01:27 > 0:01:32singled out by killers on their mopeds. They make a U-turn to launch

0:01:32 > 0:01:41their attack.One produces a knife and the other a gun. A struggle

0:01:41 > 0:01:45ensues and ultimately Danny ends up here unfortunately fatally stabbed,

0:01:45 > 0:01:54here on these very steps Danny lost his life. The -- Danny was

0:01:54 > 0:01:57repeatedly stabbed.It is most likely the most sustained stabbing I

0:01:57 > 0:02:04have come across.Danny's family hoped that in revealing more details

0:02:04 > 0:02:08about the sustained attack that killed their son and brother, in

0:02:08 > 0:02:13here, what is a popular London nightspot, it may jog the memory of

0:02:13 > 0:02:18anybody who knows anything further about the identity of his killers.I

0:02:18 > 0:02:23just cannot get it out of my head, such a senseless, senseless thing to

0:02:23 > 0:02:33do and he's not here with us. He's just not here.Crimestoppers is

0:02:33 > 0:02:36offering a £10,000 reward for any information that will secure a

0:02:51 > 0:02:54She's been held since April 2016 after being accused of spying -

0:02:54 > 0:02:57charges she denies.

0:02:57 > 0:02:59The court date is understood to be for her second charge

0:03:03 > 0:03:06The introduction of new Thameslink rail services

0:03:06 > 0:03:09to ease north to south travel through central London has been

0:03:09 > 0:03:10delayed by up to a year.

0:03:10 > 0:03:14The new timetable of 24 trains an hour at peak times on the Bedford

0:03:14 > 0:03:16to Brighton line was meant to be in place by December 2018

0:03:16 > 0:03:19but it has been put back.

0:03:19 > 0:03:21The National Audit Office said adequate arrangements hadn't yet

0:03:21 > 0:03:25been made to manage the launch.

0:03:25 > 0:03:28More than 80 firefighters were called to a fire

0:03:28 > 0:03:31at an industrial estate in north London this morning.

0:03:31 > 0:03:35It started just after nine o'clock and destroyed

0:03:35 > 0:03:36part of football club Tottenham Hotspurs'

0:03:36 > 0:03:38merchandise warehouse.

0:03:43 > 0:03:45Christmas shoppers are being urged not to rush

0:03:45 > 0:03:47into buying gifts from unknown sellers as new figures show victims

0:03:47 > 0:03:54lost nearly £16 million to fraudsters last year.

0:03:54 > 0:03:57Police have launched a campaign warning buyers that they could be

0:03:57 > 0:03:59playing into the hands of scammers in their attempts to snap

0:03:59 > 0:04:00up seasonal bargains.

0:04:00 > 0:04:03Jon Ironmonger reports.

0:04:03 > 0:04:06Christmas is coming, which means, for many, the pressure

0:04:06 > 0:04:10is on to start shopping.

0:04:10 > 0:04:13In the big rush to buy presents, it's not unusual to spend

0:04:13 > 0:04:15first and think second, but police are warning of a sharp

0:04:15 > 0:04:21increase in shopping fraud over the Christmas period.

0:04:21 > 0:04:23The Action Fraud unit of City of London Police says more

0:04:23 > 0:04:25than 15,000 victims across all age groups came forward

0:04:25 > 0:04:30to report crimes last year.

0:04:30 > 0:04:35From identity theft and card cloning to dodgy online apps,

0:04:35 > 0:04:38costing shoppers a total of nearly £16 million.

0:04:38 > 0:04:46Compared to this time last year, we've had a 25% increase of overall

0:04:46 > 0:04:49fraud and we've also seen this year 65% increase of auction fraud,

0:04:49 > 0:04:53online fraud and marketplace fraud.

0:04:53 > 0:04:55Mobile phones continue to be the most likely products to be

0:04:55 > 0:04:57bought from fraudsters, but clothing and footwear are high

0:04:57 > 0:05:07on the list too, as well as make up, drones and Fitbit watches.

0:05:07 > 0:05:09The growing problem has prompted a police video campaign,

0:05:09 > 0:05:13showing the many scams targeting Christmas shoppers and what people

0:05:13 > 0:05:17can do to avoid them, like making sure a good deal

0:05:17 > 0:05:21is the real deal.

0:05:25 > 0:05:29Now to the man who has sold 150 million records across the world.

0:05:29 > 0:05:31He's Arnold Dorsey to his friends and family,

0:05:31 > 0:05:34but to us, Engelbert Humperdinck.

0:05:34 > 0:05:37At the age of 81, he's still touring and has a new album.

0:05:37 > 0:05:40He's been talking to Wendy Hurrell about how his music

0:05:40 > 0:05:50is helping his wife, who has Alzheimer's.

0:05:54 > 0:05:58# Please release me... #. The song that kept the Beatles off

0:05:58 > 0:06:04the top spot in 1967 and launched a half-century career.I'm so thrilled

0:06:04 > 0:06:10that one has given me that passport to the world. Now Engelbert

0:06:10 > 0:06:15Humperdinck has produced a new album of covers. The album is dedicated to

0:06:15 > 0:06:20his wife of 53 years, Patricia was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a decade

0:06:20 > 0:06:31ago.Just like the first time was written especially for her. The duet

0:06:31 > 0:06:37I'm Glad I Danced With You, a lot of the songs depict exactly what a man

0:06:37 > 0:06:43thinks about his better half, you know? I met her in a dance hall when

0:06:43 > 0:06:50she was 17 years old, and we have been dancing together ever since.

0:06:50 > 0:06:59# I'm glad I danced with you #. She listens to the album everyday!

0:06:59 > 0:07:03Does she?Yes, she listens to it every morning and there's a smile on

0:07:03 > 0:07:09her face when she hears it. She's not totally compos mentis but she's

0:07:09 > 0:07:13beginning to understand more now and I think musically it is great

0:07:13 > 0:07:20therapy for her because it brings back the past and it is wonderful,

0:07:20 > 0:07:25and she's learning to talk a bit more now again. It is just

0:07:25 > 0:07:30wonderful, wonderful. The progress, it's not supposed to happen but it's

0:07:30 > 0:07:36happening and I think it's a miracle.

0:07:36 > 0:07:37What a beautiful story.

0:07:37 > 0:07:40Now let's get a check on the weather with Elizabeth Rizzini.

0:07:40 > 0:07:41Hello, good afternoon.

0:07:41 > 0:07:44It was a mild but a wet and windy start to the day.

0:07:44 > 0:07:47we saw some squally bands of rain sweep through early on this morning.

0:07:47 > 0:07:50That has now introduced some cooler but also some clearer air,

0:07:50 > 0:07:53so lots of blue sky and sunshine, and that should last for most of us

0:07:53 > 0:07:55for the rest of the afternoon.

0:07:55 > 0:07:57Just a bit of fair weather cloud bubbling up here and there,

0:07:57 > 0:07:59still a brisk westerly wind.

0:07:59 > 0:08:02Temperatures which were on 13 or 14 Celsius will be lower by the time

0:08:02 > 0:08:05we get to the end of the day, between nine and 11 Celsius.

0:08:05 > 0:08:08They will drop away quite quickly as we head through this evening.

0:08:08 > 0:08:11A clear rush hour to come but then we see some cloud and outbreaks

0:08:11 > 0:08:14of rain spread in from the south as we head through the

0:08:14 > 0:08:15course of the night.

0:08:15 > 0:08:18That is going to clear eastwards but possibly a bit of a cloudy,

0:08:18 > 0:08:20damp start to the day.

0:08:20 > 0:08:22Out to the north-west, we may see temperatures

0:08:22 > 0:08:25here to blow enough to get a touch of frost if we keep those clear

0:08:25 > 0:08:26skies for some time.

0:08:26 > 0:08:28Tomorrow, a cold-feeling day but once the cloud,

0:08:28 > 0:08:31the early dampness, has cleared away, the sun will come out and it

0:08:31 > 0:08:34will be pretty pleasant with much lighter winds than today, falling

0:08:34 > 0:08:36quite light, temperatures only between eight and

0:08:36 > 0:08:38ten, so it will feel

0:08:38 > 0:08:40quite cool but there will be lots of sunshine

0:08:40 > 0:08:41around to compensate.

0:08:41 > 0:08:44On Friday night, many of us could see a frost as we head

0:08:44 > 0:08:46into Saturday but we do have this area of

0:08:46 > 0:08:48rain brushing the south coast.

0:08:48 > 0:08:50That may well come a bit further north,

0:08:50 > 0:08:51so it all depends on that.

0:08:51 > 0:08:54But a frosty start for some of us on Saturday morning.

0:08:54 > 0:08:57The winds will be fairly light over the course of

0:08:57 > 0:09:00Saturday but they will strengthen and it is still feeling cold but

0:09:00 > 0:09:06there will be lots of sunshine around.

0:09:06 > 0:09:09That's about it from me, Riz Lateef will be here

0:09:09 > 0:09:10with our 6:30 evening programme.

0:09:10 > 0:09:20But for now, from us all, a very good afternoon.
