0:00:55 > 0:00:58The lift in her block in Penge broke down at the end of May.

0:00:59 > 0:01:01Arthritis stops Mrs Grant from moving very far,

0:01:01 > 0:01:04and the four flights up to her flat are well beyond her.

0:01:04 > 0:01:05She relies entirely on her daughter.

0:01:07 > 0:01:11My daughter, she has done her best.

0:01:11 > 0:01:14She sees that I have something to eat and drink

0:01:14 > 0:01:15in the days while she is away.

0:01:15 > 0:01:21She keeps in touch with me all the time.

0:01:21 > 0:01:25And she comes home in the evening, I am so glad to see her.

0:01:25 > 0:01:28The housing association which owns the block said replacing

0:01:28 > 0:01:32the lifts takes time and isn't straightforward.

0:01:32 > 0:01:34It also says two other properties have been offered

0:01:34 > 0:01:35to Mrs Grant and her daughter.

0:01:35 > 0:01:38Mrs Grant needs a wheelchair and says they had to turn one down

0:01:38 > 0:01:40because it was on a steep slope.

0:01:40 > 0:01:43The other, her daughter says, was uninhabitable.

0:01:49 > 0:01:53to a tenant, we ensure we are satisfied the property meets

0:01:53 > 0:01:56the whole household's needs in terms of accessibility and location.

0:01:56 > 0:01:58Mrs Grant and her daughter have been offered and have

0:01:58 > 0:02:01said yes to a new flat, but they have been told it is not

0:02:01 > 0:02:04suitable for someone who is disabled, and there is no

0:02:04 > 0:02:05money to pay for any changes.

0:02:05 > 0:02:07They may have to foot the bill.

0:02:08 > 0:02:12She has done a lot for us when we were young and growing up.

0:03:10 > 0:03:19training and qualifications to do the job they want to do.

0:03:25 > 0:03:27homeless people, read their stories, individuals who are referred

0:03:27 > 0:03:29by homelessness charities.

0:03:29 > 0:03:31They can read their career aspirations, and contribute

0:03:31 > 0:03:32to the funding of those campaigns.

0:03:36 > 0:03:38becoming a plumber, electrician or teacher.

0:03:38 > 0:03:42These are different employment as unique as the individuals.

0:03:42 > 0:03:45The Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has officially launched his

0:03:46 > 0:03:48It's a video called Behind Every Great City,

0:03:48 > 0:03:51and features famous London women like Naomi Campbell.

0:03:51 > 0:03:54It aims to call on people, businesses and organisations

0:03:54 > 0:03:56across the capital to make their New Year's resolutions
