:01:21. > :01:22.Network Rail, warning them of disturbance during the Christmas
:01:23. > :01:25.The letter reads, unfortunately, the type of equipment
:01:26. > :01:28.and machinery we have to use doesn't mean some disturbance is
:01:29. > :01:36.Network Rail also say the four days of work starting
:01:37. > :01:39.tonight at 10pm are happening now because no trains are running and
:01:40. > :01:46.they will make every effort to do it as quietly as possible.
:01:47. > :01:48.Everything that happens here is amplified.
:01:49. > :01:50.So we just have to wait and see what happens.
:01:51. > :01:54.But we have plan B, which is pack the turkey into the boot of
:01:55. > :01:56.a car and drive to the seaside and eat it there.

:02:02. > :02:13.Meanwhile there IS also disruption for rail passengers over Christmas.

:02:16. > :02:19.suspended for six days- because of work to build Crossrail.
:02:20. > :02:20.That also means there's no Heathrow Express-
:02:21. > :02:22.between Heathrow Airport and Paddington.
:02:23. > :02:25.Great Western Railway trains are terminating at Ealing Broadway.
:02:26. > :02:28.A mother from Hounslow has said a special thank you to the police
:02:29. > :02:31.officer who stayed by her side- as her son fought for his life.
:02:32. > :02:33.Mary Creed's son Sean was stabbed in Isleworth in July-
:02:34. > :02:36.and as doctors battled to save him- she was comforted
:02:37. > :02:39.That night- she made him a special promise-
:02:40. > :02:48.Mary Creed received a knock on her door
:02:49. > :02:50.in the middle of the night that
:02:51. > :02:54.PC O'Hara just used the word "Stabbed" and I
:02:55. > :03:05.Her 25-year-old son Sean had a wound just a centimetre away from his
:03:06. > :03:16.Right through the night PC O'Hara would say, Mary,
:03:17. > :03:19.I'm going to go and see what the theatre is saying.
:03:20. > :03:21.And every time it was, he is still bleeding,
:03:22. > :03:22.he's still bleeding, they
:03:23. > :03:25.I said, number one, my son will live.
:03:26. > :03:30.And I also said, we will have apple pie and a
:03:31. > :03:32.cup of tea together to celebrate his life.
:03:33. > :03:35.This week, with her son out of hospital and recovering, Mary kept
:03:36. > :03:38.her side of the bargain, taking apple pie to Hounslow police
:03:39. > :03:48.Yeah, I always have your face in my mind for the rest of my
:03:49. > :03:55.I've still got a copy of your letter with me, I carry it with
:03:56. > :04:01.I've never had nothing like that before.
:04:02. > :04:07.There you go, still carry it with me.
:04:08. > :04:11.I penned it a good while before I ever sent
:04:12. > :04:15.it, but I just wrote it from my heart, and then I just sent it.
