:00:00. > :00:14.now on BBC1 its time for the news where you are.

:00:15. > :00:20.Welcome to BBC London News, I'm Alice Bhandhukravi.

:00:21. > :00:23.Train companies are being accused of failing

:00:24. > :00:25.to properly inform passengers about their rights when it

:00:26. > :00:30.A report by the consumer group Which says rail operators

:00:31. > :00:32.are using industry-wide terms and conditions to prevent customers

:00:33. > :00:33.from claiming for expenses including missed flights,

:00:34. > :00:51.Southern passengers and Victoria are well used to train delays. But many

:00:52. > :00:55.won't be aware of their legal rights to compensation. Rudy Owens says

:00:56. > :01:00.despite countless delays on southern of an hour or more, he's not asked

:01:01. > :01:06.for money back. They don't tell you that you can claim. And it has gone

:01:07. > :01:09.on for so long you just can't keep count of how many times you've been

:01:10. > :01:16.delayed and how much compensation you deserve. Now the consumer group

:01:17. > :01:20.Which is producing a report claiming train companies are failing their

:01:21. > :01:24.passengers, using a smoke screen to prevent claimants. Train companies

:01:25. > :01:28.are breaking the law by not being clear enough with their passengers

:01:29. > :01:32.about the claims that they can make when they lose out as a consequence

:01:33. > :01:36.of delays to their journey or as the result of other poor service. And we

:01:37. > :01:40.are calling on 17 of the train companies to make it much, much

:01:41. > :01:45.clearer. The consumer rights act came into force on the railways last

:01:46. > :01:50.October. Many passengers could claim not just for their ticket. You put

:01:51. > :01:53.your train tickets, you come up for a big treat, left plenty of time for

:01:54. > :01:59.the journey and then the train is delayed. Then you missed the

:02:00. > :02:05.performance or miss so much, frankly it is not worth watching or going

:02:06. > :02:08.into. But then what is reasonable. Spokesperson for the rail operator

:02:09. > :02:12.says that far from breaking the law on this they are actually going

:02:13. > :02:15.above and beyond what is expected of the level of claim people will be

:02:16. > :02:19.able to make when their trainers DeLaet, it will be tested in the

:02:20. > :02:23.courts. -- when their train is delayed.

:02:24. > :02:26.Two men from West London have been sentenced to a total of more

:02:27. > :02:28.than seven years in prison, after admitting terror

:02:29. > :02:32.23 year-old Mohammed Mayow and Mohanned Jasim who's 21,

:02:33. > :02:36.were arrested at Dover Docks as they tried to leave the country.

:02:37. > :02:40.The men were charged with distributing terrorist material.

:02:41. > :02:43.Police have evicted a group of squatters after they were deemed

:02:44. > :02:52.Around 60 bailiffs forced their way in to the building

:02:53. > :02:54.on Buckingham Gate in Westminster at 4am this morning,

:02:55. > :03:01.The police said they were concerned that if the occupiers accessed

:03:02. > :03:03.the roof of the adjoining building, they could directly

:03:04. > :03:07.peer into the gardens of the royal grounds.

:03:08. > :03:10.The magic of the cinema can bring people together

:03:11. > :03:13.in a way little else can, but not everyone can afford it.

:03:14. > :03:16.An entrepreneur in Croydon has come up with a new idea to fix that;

:03:17. > :03:19.a bus converted into a cinema to screen films to children

:03:20. > :03:29.Caroline Davies went on it's first school outing.

:03:30. > :03:41.Doesn't look like a normal bus, does it? And it isn't. This is the movie

:03:42. > :03:45.mobile. Any parent knows just how expensive it is. I live on a housing

:03:46. > :03:51.estate. I thought, wouldn't it be great if a cinema rocked up. Using

:03:52. > :03:54.funding from Croydon Council and a start-up loan, Kerry kitted out an

:03:55. > :04:03.old bus, even down to a popcorn machine. This is the bust's first

:04:04. > :04:10.school group. It's so exciting. I like eating popcorn, watching the

:04:11. > :04:15.video. It's really cool. It's amazing, exactly what I've been

:04:16. > :04:19.waiting for. I'm overwhelmed, seeing them jumping around, it's perfect.

:04:20. > :04:23.The aim is to reach children whose families might not be able to afford

:04:24. > :04:27.to take them to the cinema. She plans to fund it by renting the bus

:04:28. > :04:33.to corporate companies or for private parties. I think it can open

:04:34. > :04:38.their imagination, them. Nothing can beat the magic of the cinema. It is

:04:39. > :04:41.just one pass for now but Kerry has plans to turn it into a fleet so

:04:42. > :04:46.this could be coming to a street near you, soon.

:04:47. > :04:53.Quick look at the weather now. Tomorrow will be largely dry with

:04:54. > :04:56.bright spells in the morning. Winds strengthening into the afternoon

:04:57. > :05:01.with outbreaks of rain in the evening, and a high of 13 Celsius.

:05:02. > :05:11.That's it, we're back tomorrow evening. Enjoy the rest of Saturday.

:05:12. > :05:20.Good evening. Starting with a quick look at the satellite sequence from

:05:21. > :05:23.earlier. We started under a big blanket of cloud but Scotland and

:05:24. > :05:27.Northern Ireland brightened up as the day went off. Underneath the

:05:28. > :05:33.cloud in England and Wales, quite a bit of rain at the moment, drifting

:05:34. > :05:37.southwards and East. It will continue to do so. In the small

:05:38. > :05:41.hours the rain will become patchy, and most will give way to the

:05:42. > :05:44.continent. There will be some breaks, particularly to the East of

:05:45. > :05:50.Scotland, where there could be a touch of frost. Next batch of rain

:05:51. > :05:53.into the western side of Scotland first thing, moving east with a

:05:54. > :05:57.little snow over higher ground. Another pulse of rain coming towards

:05:58. > :06:03.the Irish Sea area and with that comes really strong winds, blowing a

:06:04. > :06:04.gale, and into Scotland it could get to 50, 60
