:00:00. > :00:18.Good evening, I'm Katharine Carpenter.

:00:19. > :00:21.A devastating fire at a hospital in Surrey has left residents having

:00:22. > :00:30.to travel for up to 25 minutes to access GP services.

:00:31. > :00:31.The blaze, which destroyed Weybridge Community Hospital,

:00:32. > :00:34.has also raised questions about Surrey Fire Brigade's ability

:00:35. > :00:36.to cope with a large scale fire in the future,

:00:37. > :00:45.Church Street, Weybridge and a steady queue of residents trying to

:00:46. > :00:53.find out where their new GP surgery will be. This is what is left of the

:00:54. > :01:00.old Community Hospital after fire swept through it last Tuesday night.

:01:01. > :01:04.90-year-old Josephine Alleys of the flames from her window and is

:01:05. > :01:07.relieved no one was hurt in the blaze. She believes she heard gas

:01:08. > :01:13.cylinders exploding in the building from her nearby care home. I heard

:01:14. > :01:19.one bang and when I heard the next bank all I could see was police and

:01:20. > :01:23.man at the door to take us to the common room. So we sat in the common

:01:24. > :01:31.room for seven hours. It is very bad, makes you feel sick, really.

:01:32. > :01:34.Other than GP's surgeries the Community Hospital housed a walk in

:01:35. > :01:39.centre and NHS managers are trying to set up alternative services as

:01:40. > :01:43.quickly as possible. The thing to know is that the GP practices on

:01:44. > :01:48.site have been relocated so they are now operating at Walton Community

:01:49. > :01:52.Hospital, the telephone numbers for those practices still work so

:01:53. > :01:57.patients should contact the surgery as per normal and all urgent

:01:58. > :02:01.bookings are being prioritised. Surrey Fire and rescue needed to

:02:02. > :02:05.rely on three other Fire Services to rob overnight. The Fire Brigade

:02:06. > :02:10.postbag union says if cuts go ahead in September they could not safely

:02:11. > :02:15.cope with another fire like this one. In response Surrey County

:02:16. > :02:18.Council said safety is a priority despite huge financial constraints.

:02:19. > :02:22.They say they are dealing with half the number of fires but they were

:02:23. > :02:26.ten years ago and even with the cuts they could offer an efficient and

:02:27. > :02:29.effective Fire Service. Josephine is worried about the miles she will

:02:30. > :02:36.have to travel to see her doctor. It's going to be a long time before

:02:37. > :02:37.this service is back running again. Sarah Harris BBC London News,

:02:38. > :02:40.Weybridge, Surrey. Laws on buying and carrying acid

:02:41. > :02:43.are to be reviewed by the government following a spate of attacks in East

:02:44. > :02:45.London. Two teenage boys, aged 15

:02:46. > :02:47.and 16, remain in custody on suspicion of robbery and grievous

:02:48. > :02:50.bodily harm with intent after 5 people were attacked

:02:51. > :02:51.on Thursday night. Meanwhile, police are

:02:52. > :02:53.investigating ANOTHER suspected acid attack

:02:54. > :02:54.in Dagenham yesterday evening. A group of top musicians from Syria

:02:55. > :02:57.who were forced to flee during the war have been invited

:02:58. > :03:00.to play at a community event Some members of the orchestra

:03:01. > :03:06.arrived in the UK as refugees and say music is helping them

:03:07. > :03:25.to rebuild their lives. CHANTING

:03:26. > :03:28.Separated by war, united by music. This is the Orchestra of Syrian

:03:29. > :03:37.musicians, performing at the Royal festival hall. Hamza is just one

:03:38. > :03:49.member of the orchestra but in Syria she is a star after coming second in

:03:50. > :03:54.a TV talent show. But Hamsa's dreams were cut short by the conflict in

:03:55. > :03:58.her country. Six years of war, it is not easy for anyone to continue his

:03:59. > :04:04.life normally, the first thing damaged is music or art, generally.

:04:05. > :04:11.Because when was start, people just want to be safe. Like thousands of

:04:12. > :04:15.others, Erdogan fled Syria and that meant saying goodbye to her family,

:04:16. > :04:19.career and colleagues. Until she came across the Orchestra of Syrian

:04:20. > :04:25.musicians, many of whom she had worked with before. We had a lot of

:04:26. > :04:30.performers in Syria, in the upper house, sometimes with a big August,

:04:31. > :04:35.sometimes with a small band, sometimes, I can cry, really I can

:04:36. > :04:42.cry but it is a big chance for me to perform with my teacher. And as some

:04:43. > :04:45.of the Orchestra rehearsal for tomorrow's gig at Walthamstow Garden

:04:46. > :04:47.party Hamsa remains optimistic that one day she will be able to pick up

:04:48. > :04:53.where she left off as a singer. The weather now and tomorrow

:04:54. > :04:55.we should have a bright start but clouding over later

:04:56. > :04:58.with the chance of a shower. That's all from the team here,

:04:59. > :05:19.enjoy the rest of your evening. Good evening. The weekend has not

:05:20. > :05:24.got off to the brightest of starts, many of us had clout today, that was

:05:25. > :05:28.the scene in Leicestershire, one of our weather Watch is earlier, as you

:05:29. > :05:31.can see the cloud has brought some outbreaks of rain as well. But

:05:32. > :05:35.between this warm front and this cold front we have some very warm

:05:36. > :05:40.air and we're a bit of sunshine broke through this afternoon when it

:05:41. > :05:43.lifted temperatures up to 24-25d, this evening and tonight to the

:05:44. > :05:45.south of this band of rain we will
