:00:00. > :00:00.There's more throughout the evening on the BBC News Channel,

:00:00. > :00:00.Now on BBC One, its time for the news where you are.

:00:00. > :00:14.Good evening and welcome to the programme, I'm

:00:15. > :00:20.A man has died after being shot in the chest outside

:00:21. > :00:30.Police have launched a murder investigation and are hunting

:00:31. > :00:32.the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta following

:00:33. > :00:45.It was on this garage forecourt the shooting happened, 34-year-old man

:00:46. > :00:49.was with a friend a blue Ford Fiesta pulled up alongside and the occupant

:00:50. > :00:55.fired from within the card. I thought it was fireworks, but it

:00:56. > :00:58.sounded a bit weird because it went on for quite awhile. Many residents

:00:59. > :01:04.were alarmed by what they had heard and rushed to help. A couple of

:01:05. > :01:10.bangs, did not know what it was, heard grooming for help. The guy

:01:11. > :01:15.phoned an ambulance, someone else had 999 on the phone and I basically

:01:16. > :01:19.performed, when he lost consciousness I performed CPR for

:01:20. > :01:24.the next 15 minutes until the ambulance arrived. The road remained

:01:25. > :01:27.cordoned off while forensic teams carried out an investigation. Police

:01:28. > :01:32.have been speaking to eyewitnesses and say they have laid on extra

:01:33. > :01:37.patrols to reassure local residents. Police believe this was not a random

:01:38. > :01:40.attack. The information we have is that they are known or believe they

:01:41. > :01:48.are known to each other and those members of the public who came to

:01:49. > :01:50.the aid of the victim again, it is distressing for them, grateful for

:01:51. > :01:53.their support and if they need additional support we will provide

:01:54. > :01:54.that. Police are asking for a mobile phone or- camp footage taken around

:01:55. > :02:00.the time of the incident. Work at Waterloo Station,

:02:01. > :02:02.which will see half its platforms Train companies have warned

:02:03. > :02:05.of significant delays during the upgrade work

:02:06. > :02:08.which will mean ten out of 19 platforms will be out

:02:09. > :02:19.of action for three weeks. It's not great considering they make

:02:20. > :02:25.you pay for your tickets. It's crazy, already within one day, it's

:02:26. > :02:31.a nightmare. They are running a delay, it's a mess. It's been well

:02:32. > :02:35.publicised but there is a problem and it coincides with the world

:02:36. > :02:36.athletics which is a shame, hope it doesn't affect people trying to get

:02:37. > :02:38.there. A football club formed

:02:39. > :02:40.after the London riots to try and stop teenagers joining gangs has

:02:41. > :02:43.won it's first game in the FA Cup. Croydon side AC London was set up

:02:44. > :02:46.by 16-year-old Prince Choudry. Today's match against

:02:47. > :02:49.Crawley Down Gatwick ended 3-2. Tolu Adeoye caught up

:02:50. > :03:02.with the team before kick off. AC London, Croydon football club

:03:03. > :03:08.born out of the London riots and today a proud moment as they debuted

:03:09. > :03:15.in the FA Cup. I love football, it's my passion. It was the dream of

:03:16. > :03:19.trainee solicitor Acie Choudary, he felt he had to act to provide

:03:20. > :03:29.something positive for teams in the area and turn them away from crying.

:03:30. > :03:32.I was going down to the park, I saw people hanging around, I went down

:03:33. > :03:37.there and got a football from one of the kids and said OK, who wants to

:03:38. > :03:44.play? Give 50p and next thing everyone like the London riots their

:03:45. > :03:48.friends were doing it so they started doing it, and that was the

:03:49. > :03:54.same with football and it built from there. Since then AC London has

:03:55. > :03:58.grown rapidly, the corn scored made up of 60 nationalities including

:03:59. > :04:04.player from Venezuela, Brazil, Cameroon, Bulgaria and Finland. One

:04:05. > :04:08.says joining the site has changed his outlook. I have had a

:04:09. > :04:12.troublesome past myself and it's given me something else to do and

:04:13. > :04:18.improve the lot of things about me and that. Prince Choudary is now one

:04:19. > :04:21.of the youngest managers to take a team to the FA Cup but before the

:04:22. > :04:26.game he said victory was in the most important thing. I told the boys to

:04:27. > :04:31.joy the occasion, because they will never play in the FA Cup again, they

:04:32. > :04:35.can tell the children are grandchildren. It's about enjoying

:04:36. > :04:40.the atmosphere. But still it's always nice to get a win. And having

:04:41. > :04:45.beaten Crawley 3-2 they are now looking to the next round.

:04:46. > :04:48.Congratulations to them. The weather now and after a clear,

:04:49. > :04:50.cool night we should It will stay dry and warm

:04:51. > :04:54.too with sunny spells, light winds and a top temperature

:04:55. > :04:56.of 22 degrees. That's all from BBC London

:04:57. > :05:19.this evening but I'll be It's been an improving picture this

:05:20. > :05:23.afternoon with the showers and thunderstorms fading away and they

:05:24. > :05:28.are going to continue to clear away, most places overnight will turn

:05:29. > :05:34.drier, clear skies, light winds, showers across western coastal areas

:05:35. > :05:35.but high-pressure settling things down but what that will do is bring
