:00:14. > :00:17.Train companies are warning of significant delays

:00:18. > :00:20.during tomorrow's rush hour at Waterloo station.

:00:21. > :00:23.Commuters are being reminded that ten of the 19 platforms

:00:24. > :00:26.at the country's busiest station will be closed for construction work

:00:27. > :00:36.They have been warning of the disruption for months.

:00:37. > :00:38.And this weekend the work began to upgrade Waterloo station.

:00:39. > :00:41.Platforms are being extended to allow for longer trains

:00:42. > :00:43.and to provide space for 30% more passengers.

:00:44. > :00:49.Extra staff have been taken on to assist people during the work.

:00:50. > :00:52.Really, really good to see so many staff out there,

:00:53. > :00:58.On Monday there will be even more staff than that.

:00:59. > :01:02.is really strong management as passengers in the morning will be

:01:03. > :01:05.coming into platforms that they are not used to.

:01:06. > :01:08.Nearly half of all platforms here in London Waterloo have now

:01:09. > :01:12.And to help ease some of the pressure, these older

:01:13. > :01:16.Eurostar platforms have been put back into use for the first time

:01:17. > :01:22.since the service moved to London's St Pancreas in 2007.

:01:23. > :01:25.But during significantly reduced services into Waterloo,

:03:05. > :03:08.Artists working from studios close to the Olympic Park say

:03:56. > :03:58.are planning to build the new bridge here, locating thousands

:03:59. > :04:03.of new homes and a new school around Fish Island.

:04:04. > :04:05.This needs to be a place where people can move around.

:04:06. > :04:08.Whether they are here as artists, here working at business,

:04:09. > :04:14.one of the barriers that stopped people working.

:04:15. > :04:17.The LLDC says it does not want to drive the artists out

:04:18. > :04:23.but some are worried that is exactly what the new developments will do.

:04:24. > :04:26.There is a great fear, which happens in lots of parts of London,

:04:27. > :04:29.where the development will squeeze people out because the rents will go

:04:30. > :04:32.up and up, the lower end of the market, if you like,

:04:33. > :04:34.in terms of struggling artists will be squeezed out.

:04:35. > :04:37.Musician Nima Tehranchi is one of those being forced to move away.

:04:38. > :04:40.He believes that London is at risk of losing its creative identity.

:04:41. > :04:42.The city has always been known as the cultural

:04:43. > :04:48.Now, if this area is lost, I don't think there will be

:04:49. > :04:51.somewhere geographically relevant that can take its place.

:04:52. > :04:53.The artists here say that they accept new housing

:04:54. > :04:56.is needed but argue there should also be room for the creative

:05:29. > :05:31.Fairly bright start to the day tomorrow.

:05:32. > :05:33.Cloud will tend to increase from the North.

:05:34. > :05:37.Just the risk of the odd isolated shower.

:05:38. > :05:39.Temperatures at the maximum of 21 Celsius.

:05:40. > :05:42.The best of the brightness will be in the east.
