:00:06. > :00:11.Tonight in a special Look East, we're live overlooking the Olympic

:00:11. > :00:21.Park in Stratford. It's one year to go to London 2012, but how is our

:00:21. > :00:27.

:00:27. > :00:30.region shaping up ahead of the Games?

:00:30. > :00:32.As eight new routes to Europe are announced for Southend Airport, we

:00:32. > :00:35.meet the people cashing in on the big event. We'll be talking to

:00:35. > :00:38.Jonathan Edwards - once the triple jump king - now a key player in

:00:38. > :00:40.promoting London 2012. And we catch up with William Sharman, one of the

:00:40. > :00:43.region's top athletes, as he steps up his training. And in other news:

:00:43. > :00:53.A man misses death by inches when his mobility scooter is hit by a

:00:53. > :00:56.

:00:56. > :01:01.train. With a year to go, what was once

:01:01. > :01:05.Europe's biggest building site is well on the way to completion.

:01:05. > :01:08.We're told the Olympic Park is on target and within budget. And

:01:08. > :01:10.tomorrow, we get our first glimpse inside the Aquatic Centre. For our

:01:10. > :01:16.region, the Olympics is bringing a once-in-a-lifetime influx of

:01:16. > :01:20.visitors and business. 800 million worth of contracts have already

:01:20. > :01:22.been awarded to companies in the East. This time next year, tens of

:01:22. > :01:28.thousands of visitors will be flying into Stansted, Luton and now

:01:28. > :01:31.Southend. So how is our region going to capitalise on all this and

:01:31. > :01:35.get its share of Olympic gold? Our Chief Reporter, Kim Riley, has been

:01:35. > :01:39.finding out. A new routes parade at London

:01:39. > :01:43.Southend Airport, with a distinctive Olympics flavour. Gold

:01:43. > :01:45.medalist, Sally Gunnell, leading a team of budding local athletes.

:01:45. > :01:50.Today, Easyjet put tickets for eight new routes - incuding

:01:50. > :01:59.Barcelona where Sally won gold - up for sale. The airport is undergoing

:01:59. > :02:05.a multi-million pound revamp. London 2012 will be a driving force.

:02:05. > :02:11.Reader believe it will be a platform that will help us in the

:02:11. > :02:14.future. Our aim is to get to 2 million passengers and one day.

:02:14. > :02:19.There is a local campaign to stop the expansion of the airport, but

:02:19. > :02:21.Easyjet is confident its routes will take off as planned next April.

:02:22. > :02:29.And there is Olympic gold for Stansted too. It'll be the gateway

:02:29. > :02:35.to the games for tens of thousands. We have a lot of spare capacity so

:02:35. > :02:40.we can definitely take the larger aircraft, and General Aviation as

:02:40. > :02:43.well. From making seats for the Olympic stadium, to providing no

:02:43. > :02:46.end of 2012 souvenirs, the region's companies have snapped up Olympics

:02:46. > :02:48.contracts. Though a survey today by Lloyds Banking Group found almost

:02:48. > :02:53.two thirds of the region's businesses believe they have

:02:53. > :02:56.nothing to gain. The house you live in could be a nice little earner

:02:56. > :03:02.during the Olympics. Michelle Tyler, here with 18-month-old daughter,

:03:02. > :03:03.Lucia, came to Britain as a backpacker 15 years ago and stayed.

:03:03. > :03:06.The family's four bedroomed Hertfordshire semi, with good links

:03:06. > :03:12.to the Olympic park and Lee Valley, has been registered with website

:03:12. > :03:22.accomodation for the Games. She's asking 3,000 for a week's rental

:03:22. > :03:24.

:03:24. > :03:29.and plans a family holiday back to Staying in someone's home is more

:03:29. > :03:35.comfortable. You do not need to bring anything extra. Rex Batey set

:03:35. > :03:43.up the website last October. 500 homeowers have registered so far.

:03:43. > :03:48.We advise people to be sensible with their pricing. What you might

:03:48. > :03:58.expect to rent your property for on a year in the for monthly basis,

:03:58. > :04:01.

:04:01. > :04:05.you are likely to get that for a week during the Olympics.

:04:05. > :04:08.I am a Roman soldier from Colchester. Back at Stansted, he's

:04:08. > :04:10.promoting Britain's oldest town. The hope is that visitors to the

:04:10. > :04:13.Games next year will realise there's plenty to enjoy in our

:04:13. > :04:23.region, and vow to return. They're calling it the Olympics tourism

:04:23. > :04:25.

:04:25. > :04:35.legacy. For the region's huge tourism industry, pure gold.

:04:35. > :04:36.

:04:36. > :04:41.You can see the main stadium behind me, not quite finished yet. 80,000

:04:41. > :04:45.seats in that stadium. I wonder how many of you have got tickets to

:04:45. > :04:48.actually sit in those seats. We will talk about that in a minute.

:04:48. > :04:51.Not everyone is feeling positive about London 2012. In fact, in a

:04:51. > :04:53.poll out this week, more than one in three people say they're not

:04:53. > :04:56.excited about the Games. One of the biggest criticisms is tickets and

:04:56. > :05:03.the way they've been allocated. Here's a quick word from some of

:05:04. > :05:10.you. I am quite excited but disappointed I was not able to get

:05:10. > :05:16.a ticket. I just decided I was not going to because I was not sure

:05:16. > :05:22.about the method of distribution. We missed out on the timing of the

:05:22. > :05:30.tickets but now I wish we had. Because my friends are getting

:05:30. > :05:38.tickets. I do have some tickets, thankfully. I will be wearing my

:05:38. > :05:45.Taoiseach proudly. I just prefer to watch it on the television. And I

:05:45. > :05:51.did not like the idea of applying and getting some strange sport when

:05:51. > :05:55.I wanted to watch something else. would have liked more, everyone is

:05:55. > :05:57.disappointed. Joining us now is Jonathan Edwards, former Olympic

:05:57. > :06:05.and World triple jump champion, now working for London 2012 promoting

:06:05. > :06:12.the games. Let's just start off with the ticket situation, how

:06:12. > :06:17.damaging has it been? The simple truth was there was many more

:06:17. > :06:23.people wanted tickets than we had tickets to sell. Looking at the way

:06:23. > :06:27.they have been issued, there's no group of people who have cornered

:06:27. > :06:31.the ticketing market. It is just that there was such a great

:06:31. > :06:36.interest that there was only so much to go around. But in the

:06:36. > :06:45.second phase of ticket sales, those who did not get a ticket originally

:06:45. > :06:51.will be get him the pick of what is left. 1.3 million tickets across

:06:51. > :06:57.all the events. And we will go to those people who did not get

:06:57. > :07:02.tickets first of all. And get as many of those into the hands of

:07:02. > :07:06.people who first applied and did not get anything. People who do not

:07:06. > :07:12.get anything, it will they still be able to get into the Olympic Park

:07:12. > :07:17.to sample the atmosphere? We were looking at axis to the Olympic Park.

:07:17. > :07:23.I think on some days there are free events and people can come along

:07:23. > :07:30.and see the marathon and the Road Cycling. And then in September we

:07:30. > :07:35.have Paralympics tickets to go on sale. Again there will be millions

:07:35. > :07:39.of tickets available to watch the Paralympics. What about the issue

:07:39. > :07:43.of competitors's families. There has been some upset that there are

:07:43. > :07:52.only getting two tickets, especially on home turf. Again

:07:52. > :07:59.there has been some confusion here. We will allocate two tickets per

:07:59. > :08:04.athlete for every session that they compete in. They are also tickets

:08:04. > :08:08.available through the National Olympic teams. So there is actually

:08:08. > :08:12.more allocation for friends and family then there has ever been.

:08:12. > :08:16.the press today there is talk about the transport issues. People

:08:16. > :08:21.commuting from our region into London already know that it can get

:08:21. > :08:24.congested. People are now being told perhaps not to go to work

:08:24. > :08:30.during the Olympics, is that an admission that there will be some

:08:30. > :08:34.serious transport problems? It is a major city and in where you go in

:08:34. > :08:38.the world with the Olympic Games, it is going to be a challenge. But

:08:38. > :08:42.we have an incredibly good transport infrastructure within

:08:42. > :08:47.London. Hundreds of millions of pounds have been invested because

:08:47. > :08:51.of London 2012. They are 12 train lines serving the Olympic Park

:08:51. > :08:57.whereas in Sydney there was just one. So I think we are well served.

:08:57. > :09:04.And also we are trying to educate people for the time of the game's

:09:04. > :09:08.saying, do not make non-essential journeys, do your bit. Allow London

:09:08. > :09:12.to move freely. This is a massive team effort and we ask everyone to

:09:12. > :09:15.play their part in making it a success. Still to come on tonight's

:09:15. > :09:18.programme: We're talking to Mark Foster, star of the pool and a

:09:19. > :09:27.veteran of five Olympic games. Plus we catch up with one of our "Ones

:09:27. > :09:31.to Watch". My name is William Sharman. We are

:09:31. > :09:40.a year away from the Olympics but there's much for athletes like me

:09:40. > :09:42.to be doing. Find out more after it news from your region.

:09:42. > :09:45.A disability charity wants safety regulations for mobility scooters

:09:45. > :09:49.to be tightened up after a man came within inches of being hit by a

:09:49. > :09:59.train travelling at 100 miles an hour. The accident happened on a

:09:59. > :10:03.level crossing at Kelvedon in Essex. The mobility scooter mangled but

:10:03. > :10:07.emergency services say it is incredible there's anything left at

:10:07. > :10:13.all. This is how fast trains go through the crossing where it was

:10:13. > :10:19.hit. Police still cannot believe that the man riding the scooter

:10:19. > :10:25.survived. He is lucky to be alive, before I arrived, I expected the

:10:25. > :10:31.worst. He was lying just there and the Skoda was over here with the

:10:31. > :10:35.front taken off it. The man was conches and breeding and we found

:10:35. > :10:40.out that the front of the Skoda had been hit by the train. The near-

:10:40. > :10:46.miss has triggered fresh calls for stricter mobility scooter safety.

:10:46. > :10:52.Disability Essex run courses but even here, but scoters can prove

:10:52. > :10:56.difficult to handle. We believe there should be proper training for

:10:56. > :11:02.mobility scooter users so they can demonstrate their proficiency and

:11:02. > :11:07.in order to achieve that, we need and that work of competent, trained

:11:07. > :11:10.instructors. The incident here was the second involving a mobility

:11:10. > :11:16.scooter in the last two weeks. Another was involved in a road

:11:16. > :11:20.collision. British Transport Police said that the man who was so lucky

:11:20. > :11:24.to escape from his life in this crossing may now be prosecuted for

:11:24. > :11:27.trespassing on the railways. A man has appeared in court accused

:11:27. > :11:29.of murdering a woman in Southend. Jeanette Goodwin was found with

:11:29. > :11:32.stab wounds at a house in Quebec Avenue. She died later in hospital.

:11:32. > :11:35.43-year-old Martin Bunch has been charged with murder. An interim

:11:35. > :11:38.Chief Executive has been appointed at Suffolk County Council. Lucy

:11:38. > :11:42.Robinson will do the job for six months, on a salary of 150,000 a

:11:42. > :11:49.year. Her appointment follows the departure of Andrea Hill, who was

:11:50. > :11:52.widely criticised for her salary of 218,000.

:11:52. > :11:56.A new scheme encouraging victims of hate crime to talk about their

:11:56. > :11:58.experience is being launched in Suffolk today. The group of

:11:58. > :12:03.volunteers, many of them victims themselves, will listen and advise

:12:03. > :12:07.those who come forward. Community groups say many hate

:12:07. > :12:11.crimes go unreported out of fear or ignorance of where to report them.

:12:11. > :12:19.Hate crime can take many forms. It can be because of someone's faith,

:12:19. > :12:25.sexuality, gender or as in Kumar's case, race. I have had bad

:12:25. > :12:29.experiences were people have shouted at me saying, go home. Also

:12:29. > :12:34.people throwing things at me. even received death threats, all of

:12:34. > :12:40.which have had a terrible impact on both him and his family. It makes

:12:40. > :12:44.me feel really sad and makes me think, I am a British citizen but

:12:44. > :12:47.society does not accept me. Kumar has now begun to get his life back

:12:47. > :12:50.on track, helped in part by a new scheme being launched in Ipswich

:12:50. > :12:59.today. The buddy training scheme is a pilot. It pairs victims of hate

:12:59. > :13:03.crime with members of the community trained to listen and advise.

:13:03. > :13:08.a shoulder to cry on but it is also ongoing support and we think it

:13:09. > :13:12.will grope long-term and also make sure that the criminal justice

:13:12. > :13:19.agencies have particular responsibilities around hate crime

:13:19. > :13:23.and will make sure that victims get there just as they deserve. -- the

:13:23. > :13:25.justice they deserve. Official police figures have shown a fall in

:13:25. > :13:27.reported hate crime. But some community groups here believe many

:13:27. > :13:30.victims chose to ignore or suppress what's happened to them. It's hoped

:13:30. > :13:33.the buddy scheme will help them come forward.

:13:33. > :13:41.The Armed Forces minister paid a visit to RAF Honington in Suffolk

:13:41. > :13:45.today. Nick Harvey met troops who'd recently served in Afghanistan. The

:13:45. > :13:53.Minister for armed forces getting a close look at the fire support for

:13:53. > :13:57.a cop. -- fire support recall. The job for the Royal Air Force is to

:13:57. > :14:07.provide what is called for his protection. For five years they

:14:07. > :14:12.made sure that Kandahar airfield in Afghanistan was secured. Air bases

:14:12. > :14:17.are big, Studdick targets. A lot of our effort is involved in

:14:17. > :14:23.mitigating that particular threat. The armed forces minister was full

:14:23. > :14:27.of praise for 15 Squadron. It is vital to our maintaining air power

:14:27. > :14:33.over Afghanistan that the movements can operate as safely as we can

:14:33. > :14:36.make them. This has been a rather unsung role on the part of what

:14:36. > :14:42.really art heroes of the entire effort. The hardware might be

:14:43. > :14:47.impressive but the most important thing in the armoury - as support

:14:47. > :14:53.of comrades. It is like brothers, but there's nothing else like it.

:14:53. > :14:59.You are altogether. Looking forward to going back prison at definitely,

:14:59. > :15:01.can't wait. The Essex cricket festival starts

:15:01. > :15:03.tomorrow with a county championship match against Leicestershire.

:15:03. > :15:06.During the festival, Essex will play in Colchester and this week,

:15:06. > :15:08.at Garon Park in Southend. The ground is next door to the new

:15:08. > :15:17.swimming and diving centre which will be a training venue for the

:15:17. > :15:21.Olympic Games. We're coming into the school holiday period. For a

:15:21. > :15:26.family day out, it is a good day. It is reasonably cheap for the

:15:26. > :15:29.whole family to come along and watch the cricket.

:15:29. > :15:32.In football, Ipswich Town have made two signings from the Premiership.

:15:32. > :15:35.Goalkeeper David Stockdale is on loan from Fulham. And midfielder

:15:35. > :15:39.Jay Emmanuel Thomas has signed for three years from Arsenal. They

:15:39. > :15:41.could both play tonight in a pre- season friendly at Colchester.

:15:41. > :15:46.Also at Ipswich, their award winning groundsman is leaving to

:15:46. > :15:49.become head groundsman at the National Football Centre in Burton.

:15:49. > :15:59.Alan Ferguson has been at Portman Road for 12 years and says he's sad

:15:59. > :16:01.

:16:01. > :16:04.to be leaving. He admits the new role will be an enormous challenge.

:16:04. > :16:11.There will be more news from Look East at 10:30, but for now, it's

:16:11. > :16:15.back to Susie at the Olympic Park in Stratford.

:16:15. > :16:19.Welcome back to the Olympic Park. Tomorrow officially marks one year

:16:19. > :16:24.to go to the opening ceremony of London 2012. But for athletes and

:16:24. > :16:26.organisers, the countdown has been going on for six years. In a moment,

:16:26. > :16:29.we'll be talking to Mark Foster, Cambridgeshire's former world

:16:29. > :16:31.champion swimmer, who's been to five Olympic games. First, our

:16:32. > :16:35.Olympics reporter, Shaun Peel, on how our region is rising to the

:16:35. > :16:39.challenge. The region's footprint is all over

:16:39. > :16:41.the Olympic Park. The gardens were designed by a woman from Colchester,

:16:41. > :16:49.the water plants were grown in Norfolk and the seats in the

:16:49. > :16:51.stadiums were made in Luton. 12 countries have already decided

:16:51. > :16:54.to base themselves at our training camps, including the Canadian and

:16:55. > :17:00.Australian gymnasts, who'll be based in Lowestoft. Every county so

:17:00. > :17:05.far, bar Norfolk, will be hosting foreign teams.

:17:05. > :17:07.We've got two Olympic venues in our region. Both are ready and this

:17:07. > :17:09.weekend the mountain biking course at Hadleigh in Essex and the White

:17:09. > :17:16.water course in Hertfordshire will be staging international Olympic

:17:16. > :17:18.test events. The region has also done well out of the torch relay.

:17:18. > :17:19.It'll pass through for seven consecutive days, with overnight

:17:19. > :17:24.stops and big celebrations in Petebororough, Norwich, Ipswich,

:17:24. > :17:33.Chelmsford, Cambridge and Luton. The full route should be known in

:17:33. > :17:35.November. We're also playing a big part in

:17:35. > :17:38.the Olympic volunteer programme. 35,000 people from the East have

:17:38. > :17:42.applied to be involved and they'll find out if they've made it in

:17:42. > :17:46.October. Our schools are also getting on

:17:46. > :17:49.board in a big way. Nearly 3,000 have registered to take part in the

:17:49. > :17:54.offical London 2012 education programme. The largest number in

:17:54. > :17:58.the UK outside of London. We're also playing our part in the

:17:58. > :18:03.cultural side of the olympics. More than 200 events were held in the

:18:03. > :18:05.region last weekend to celebrate one year to go. And events like the

:18:05. > :18:13.Luton carnival and the fireworks spectacular in Chelmsford have been

:18:13. > :18:16.included in the London 2012 festival.

:18:16. > :18:21.One man who's lived and breathed the Olympics for many years is Mark

:18:21. > :18:31.Foster. You're amongst the most successful British swimmers of all

:18:31. > :18:35.

:18:35. > :18:45.time. I am actually swimming in the pool tomorrow evening, marking one

:18:45. > :18:46.

:18:46. > :18:51.year to go. That that is an end to my comeback! I you disappointed not

:18:51. > :18:59.to take part on home turf? I think any athlete would love to race in

:18:59. > :19:05.London. Walking into that stadium. I have not yet seen the swimming

:19:05. > :19:10.pool but I have seen pictures and it looks amazing. The ones that

:19:10. > :19:14.meant the most to me in my career were the ones on home turf. What

:19:14. > :19:19.would you be looking for from the a aquatics centre if you wear a

:19:19. > :19:24.competitor? If you walk into a competitive environment you're

:19:24. > :19:31.looking for something that excites you. It gives you the kind of well

:19:31. > :19:37.factor. Walking into that environment, it is just exciting.

:19:37. > :19:43.World championships, a Olympic Games, it is 15,000 people and an

:19:43. > :19:47.opportunity to race in front of the big crowd. Being once every four

:19:47. > :19:51.years just makes it mean that much more. In Beijing you let out the

:19:51. > :19:54.British team. There has been some controversy over whether the

:19:54. > :19:59.athletes this year will be allowed to take part in the opening

:19:59. > :20:09.ceremony. What you think will happen? I think it is down to the

:20:09. > :20:13.athletes themselves. It is not an environment like it was in Beijing,

:20:13. > :20:20.it will be a lot cooler at night. You do not actually walk a lot,

:20:20. > :20:28.there's a lot of sitting around. So some athletes will not really want

:20:28. > :20:32.to do it. I carried the flag at the last Olympic Games and I like to

:20:32. > :20:37.think that it allowed the others to win medals because they were able

:20:37. > :20:39.to relax in their rooms. Let's take a look at some of the

:20:39. > :20:41.hot favourites from our region hoping to bring home medals next

:20:41. > :20:43.year. All this week we are showcasing our "Ones to Watch".

:20:43. > :20:45.Yesterday it was Nic Asher, the Lowestoft sailor battling against a

:20:45. > :20:49.serious medical condition to fulfill his Olympic dream on the

:20:49. > :20:54.water. Tomorrow it's Paralympic sprinter, Jonnie Peacock, from

:20:54. > :20:57.Cambridge. Later in the week we'll see our young tri-athlete from

:20:57. > :21:07.Northamptonshire, Hollie Avil. And on Friday, eventer Sharon Hunt from

:21:07. > :21:09.

:21:09. > :21:14.Suffolk. Tonight though, it's the turn of William Sharman.

:21:14. > :21:24.London 2012 maybe a year away but at the training base in (must feel

:21:24. > :21:26.

:21:26. > :21:34.like a lifetime. Corby's Will Sharman is not short of confidence.

:21:34. > :21:38.But he has been plagued by injury. You are injured, you have a time

:21:38. > :21:45.constraint, they are not going to move a race back because you're

:21:45. > :21:50.injured. Life goes on. At his first race in June he finished last,

:21:50. > :21:54.lacking race sharpness and being cruelly left behind. It is kind of

:21:55. > :21:59.good that I was so far behind because that motivated me a lot.

:21:59. > :22:05.How many times have you been at the back of a race like that? Very

:22:05. > :22:09.seldom can smack exactly, very few times. For me it was a bit

:22:09. > :22:14.embarrassing. But these things happen, it is part of being an

:22:14. > :22:21.athlete. I suppose it is how you take your losses that counts.

:22:21. > :22:25.one thing he is not short of his self-belief. He finished 4th in the

:22:25. > :22:28.world championships in 2009. Will is one of six athletes who have

:22:28. > :22:35.been signed up by BP ahead of the Olympics. His profile has increased.

:22:35. > :22:41.Now he needs the results. Do you dare think about London 2012 yet?

:22:41. > :22:45.do, but it is not my immediate focus. I'm thinking more about the

:22:45. > :22:50.process, the processes which will lead me to London, rather than the

:22:50. > :23:00.outcome. Thursday has to focus on the here and now. The UK trials

:23:00. > :23:01.

:23:02. > :23:09.this weekend, the qualifiers for the World Championships in August.

:23:09. > :23:15.Well Jonathan Edwards and Mark Foster R Witney. -- are wig me.

:23:15. > :23:20.What are you most looking forward to in a year's time? I'm tempted to

:23:20. > :23:26.see the closing ceremony of the Paralympics so I can put my feet up

:23:26. > :23:34.and have a rest! I think this year's qualifying -- this year's

:23:34. > :23:39.critical. We have a lot of Test events. I am looking forward to

:23:39. > :23:43.seeing what British athletes can do in their home environment. And long

:23:43. > :23:50.term seeing what impact it will have on young people around the

:23:50. > :23:52.country. Trying to get more people involved and participating in sport.

:23:52. > :23:57.Well we heard earlier in the programme that some people are not

:23:57. > :24:02.quite sure, is that what you expect at this stage, a lot of negative

:24:02. > :24:08.press about transport and staff. Do you expect the enthusiasm to grow

:24:08. > :24:18.in the next year? I do and I think we are in good places in terms of

:24:18. > :24:20.

:24:21. > :24:24.the public perception. We do not have any budget or time issues. As

:24:24. > :24:29.people find out more about volunteering, I think the

:24:29. > :24:33.excitement will grow. The momentum will grow and when you get to the

:24:33. > :24:37.opening ceremony itself I think the country will be overtaken by

:24:37. > :24:43.national pride and Olympic fervour. There's nothing quite like an

:24:43. > :24:47.Olympic Games. Thank you both for joining Bass. Now our weather

:24:47. > :24:54.joining Bass. Now our weather report.

:24:54. > :24:58.It has been another day of very cloudy conditions. It looks like

:24:58. > :25:03.we'll be stuck under that cloud all through tomorrow as well. The

:25:03. > :25:08.reason for that is the low pressure. You see that marked on the chart.

:25:08. > :25:15.Also some heavy showers developing over Holland which could end up on

:25:15. > :25:24.the Essex and Suffolk coastline through tomorrow. But this evening

:25:24. > :25:33.is mainly dry, just the odd spot of rain in parts of Norfolk. Most

:25:33. > :25:41.places staying cloudy at possibly the odd missed patched forming. The

:25:41. > :25:50.wind is mainly light, North to north-westerly. And for tomorrow we

:25:50. > :25:58.have another cloudy day. Turning a little brighter in the West. And

:25:58. > :26:02.that cloud could produce the odd spot of light rain or drizzle. But

:26:02. > :26:10.here is some brightness further west and that is where we have the

:26:10. > :26:20.best of the temperatures through tomorrow. Further east,

:26:20. > :26:21.

:26:21. > :26:27.temperatures at around 17 degrees. And the wind, mainly light. Through

:26:27. > :26:31.the afternoon, still a lot of cloud around. But it does break in parts,

:26:31. > :26:37.the West getting the best of any brightness towards the end of the

:26:37. > :26:42.day. For the rest of the week, going back to the pressure John

:26:42. > :26:47.White, a high pressure is starting to build which promises some fine

:26:47. > :26:51.are conditions. But you will notice this front, that is where it is on

:26:51. > :26:56.Thursday. So there's day itself looks like a fine day but by the

:26:56. > :27:04.time it reaches as it could bring some showers for Friday. So here is

:27:04. > :27:10.the line-up for the next five days. Although we start off fine on

:27:10. > :27:15.Friday, we could get some showers later on in the day. But to cloudy

:27:15. > :27:19.conditions once more to start the weekend. We should hope police seek

:27:19. > :27:24.some more sunshine by Sunday and temperatures climbing up to 23

:27:24. > :27:28.temperatures climbing up to 23 degrees Celsius.

:27:28. > :27:32.That's it from the Olympic Park. Tomorrow we'll have a special

:27:32. > :27:35.report from inside the new Aquatics centre. And on Friday we're live
