:00:00. > :00:11.Hello and welcome to Look E`st. In the programme tonight..

:00:12. > :00:14.The 83`year`old stranded in an Abu Dhabi hospital, because his insurers

:00:15. > :00:17.won't pay for him to come home. New sea defences costing ?5 million

:00:18. > :00:23.are approved despite local opposition.

:00:24. > :00:25.Well shod. How this shoemakdr can't make them fast enough for the

:00:26. > :00:29.booming Asian market. And the Princess Royal pays a visit

:00:30. > :00:31.to the Norfolk Broads and hops on board one of the smartest boats in

:00:32. > :00:48.the fleet. First tonight, the great gr`ndfather

:00:49. > :00:53.from Essex stranded in a hospital in the Middle East. Tonight,

:00:54. > :00:58.83`year`old Gordon Griffiths is on a ventilator in hospital in Abu Dhabi.

:00:59. > :01:05.And every day, the bill keeps going up. It's already more than ?20, 00.

:01:06. > :01:11.?20,000 his family say they cannot afford to pay. When Mr Griffiths

:01:12. > :01:14.left Saffron Walden in Febrtary his daughter said she would buy his

:01:15. > :01:19.health insurance for him in the Middle East. But now, that hnsurance

:01:20. > :01:21.company is refusing to pay out. 83`year`old Gordon Griffiths has

:01:22. > :01:26.visited his daughter Liz in Abu Dhabi for the past 20 years. But

:01:27. > :01:29.now, he is stranded there after being admitted to hospital with

:01:30. > :01:35.chronic lung disease in February. He is too ill to fly home. His other

:01:36. > :01:39.daughter, Isa, who travelled out with him, is now back home hn

:01:40. > :01:44.Cambridge. The family did bty travel insurance for ?6.50 when thdy

:01:45. > :01:47.arrived in Abu Dhabi. But hhs daughters say they have been told

:01:48. > :01:51.the insurers will not pay for ongoing tear on his flight home

:01:52. > :01:55.because the company says it is a pre`existing condition. `` ongoing

:01:56. > :01:59.care or his flight home. Yot had to go home, leave your dad in hospital.

:02:00. > :02:04.What was that like? Devastating I hated that. I really hated ht. And

:02:05. > :02:08.they were asking if any famhly, siblings, in the UK had mondy that

:02:09. > :02:12.could be sent over for medical costs. We were saying no. There is

:02:13. > :02:17.no one with that amount of loney in our family. Isa has been getting

:02:18. > :02:28.regular updates on her fathdr's condition from her sister in Abu

:02:29. > :02:32.Dhabi. Look East has spoken to Liz and asked if paying just ?6.50 in

:02:33. > :02:35.Abu Dhabi for insurance for a 83`year`old asthmatic smoker raised

:02:36. > :02:39.any concerns at the time. When he went into hospital, we didn't

:02:40. > :02:42.realise that he was going to go and stay in there all this time. We

:02:43. > :02:45.thought he had a chest infection, bronchitis or something, whhch he

:02:46. > :02:49.has had before. We also askdd why her father had not bought insurance

:02:50. > :02:53.in the UK. Maybe he was a lhttle bit complacent and thought that he would

:02:54. > :02:58.be OK. He had got through everything before and he could manage. The

:02:59. > :03:04.insurance the family bought was through one of Abu Dhabi's biggest

:03:05. > :03:07.and most respected health insurers. Gordon's children say he had had a

:03:08. > :03:11.chest infection, but had bedn cleared by a doctor to fly out

:03:12. > :03:18.there. He felt unwell when he arrived. The family are now faced

:03:19. > :03:21.with a ?23,000 health bill. And as Gordon needs oxygen, a medical

:03:22. > :03:24.flight home would cost 40,000. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office says

:03:25. > :03:33.it is aware of the situation and that it cannot pay any medical

:03:34. > :03:35.bills. It advises travellers to get comprehensive insurance, declare any

:03:36. > :03:41.pre`existing medical condithons and check exactly what is coverdd.

:03:42. > :03:44.Earlier this afternoon, I spoke to Andrew Woolgar from the Association

:03:45. > :03:49.of British Insurers about the lessons we could all learn from this

:03:50. > :03:55.case. This underlines the nded for consumers to buy appropriatd travel

:03:56. > :03:59.insurance before travelling. And if you are buying through a UK insurer,

:04:00. > :04:03.there are a number of safegtards in place to make sure the insurer deals

:04:04. > :04:05.with that claim responsibly. And if the consumer chooses to makd a

:04:06. > :04:15.complaint later, there are mechanisms in place. That whll be

:04:16. > :04:19.dealt with. So if you fail to declare either your age or that you

:04:20. > :04:22.are a smoker to an insurancd company in this country before travdlling,

:04:23. > :04:27.would that mean they would not pay out? First of all, travel insurers

:04:28. > :04:33.in the UK are not looking to avoid valid claims. At the start of the

:04:34. > :04:36.sales process, they will ask clear questions about your medical

:04:37. > :04:42.history. Any treatment that is ongoing. Any medication you take.

:04:43. > :04:46.And if you answer those questions fully and honestly, you shotld not

:04:47. > :04:49.need to worry about a claim being declined. It is unlikely th`t

:04:50. > :04:54.insurers in the UK will ask about aspects of your lifestyle, such as

:04:55. > :04:57.whether you are a smoker. Btt if you are in any doubt about questions

:04:58. > :05:02.asked, it is always best to check with your insurer before buxing the

:05:03. > :05:06.policy. Would you consider ht reasonable that somebody in his 80s

:05:07. > :05:13.would get health insurance cover in the Middle East for ?6.50? H am not

:05:14. > :05:19.going to be able to comment on the exact price. But clearly, the price

:05:20. > :05:24.of travel insurance is determined by the risk that is posed by that

:05:25. > :05:30.individual. That means that older consumers will often pay a price

:05:31. > :05:33.that is slightly higher. Th`t is because they are more likelx to have

:05:34. > :05:40.a number of pre`existing medical conditions. And also potenthally a

:05:41. > :05:43.number of undiagnosed conditions. But cover is available to travellers

:05:44. > :05:49.of every age, no matter what destination they are travelling to.

:05:50. > :05:51.We would encourage consumers to shop around, consider using spechalist

:05:52. > :05:57.brokers to think what would meet their needs. Thank you very much.

:05:58. > :06:01.Thanks. This weekend is the official start

:06:02. > :06:04.of the holiday season. And ` number of businesses on the North Norfolk

:06:05. > :06:08.coast still haven't re`opendd after the tidal surge four months ago Our

:06:09. > :06:16.chief reporter has spent thd day at Wells`Next the Sea and is there now.

:06:17. > :06:22.This has a population of 2700, but in high summer it gets as m`ny as

:06:23. > :06:28.20,001 single day. This season started pretty well, but sole

:06:29. > :06:35.businesses and me are missing out. Perfect day, and the historhc key

:06:36. > :06:39.packed with visitors. One b`ck for months and the water is crept up

:06:40. > :06:45.over sea defences and flooddd a number of businesses. Today, an

:06:46. > :06:50.amusement arcade is not abld to welcome visitors. Chris Brown lost

:06:51. > :06:54.?180,000 worth of machines `nd is anxious to get up and running again,

:06:55. > :07:01.but the building is still drying out and major construction work yet to

:07:02. > :07:08.begin. It is the insurers ghving the contract was the go`ahead. @nd it is

:07:09. > :07:15.two three weeks before that. Very frustrated. This is having ` major

:07:16. > :07:19.revamp. The owners hope to open to drinkers very soon. Do you `nd other

:07:20. > :07:25.businesses feel you have bedn well treated? No, that includes the

:07:26. > :07:31.insurance companies have bedn very and helpful. And a family btsiness

:07:32. > :07:36.dating from 1960, the sign hn the window today saying at all. She was

:07:37. > :07:40.here as the waters flooded hn through the back doors. She is

:07:41. > :07:46.despairing note as insurers drag their feet, building work not even

:07:47. > :07:52.starting. This is my livelihood has been since I was 15, working here

:07:53. > :08:01.since then, and it is the fhrst time I have not been open. The only time

:08:02. > :08:07.when people ask if I am open every day, and it is that unless there is

:08:08. > :08:12.a crisis, and this is a crisis. I hope I will be open for Whitsun I

:08:13. > :08:16.cannot say for definite stop she is also opening that next week the much

:08:17. > :08:24.delayed building work will finally begin. `` she is also opening.

:08:25. > :08:28.She gets very tearful when talking about this. People forget that when

:08:29. > :08:33.a flood happens to a self`elployed person, their income stream dries up

:08:34. > :08:37.and the bills keep on coming. Behind me, and other businesses celebrating

:08:38. > :08:44.the arrival of the official reopening of their officers, but for

:08:45. > :08:51.Kay, and people like her, the celebrations are some way of. `` way

:08:52. > :08:54.off. Next, the unusual story of ` coastal

:08:55. > :08:57.community fighting against plans for new flood defences. This afternoon,

:08:58. > :09:00.Southend Council approved a ?5 million scheme to protect htndreds

:09:01. > :09:03.of homes and businesses by building a seven foot high sea wall. That's

:09:04. > :09:09.despite 1500 people in Shoeburyness objecting to the plan.

:09:10. > :09:16.Behind the beach huts, the common. But locals say it is under threat.

:09:17. > :09:20.They do not want to lose it. It is fantastic, a beautiful area away

:09:21. > :09:23.from the hustle and bustle `t Southend and you can have f`mily

:09:24. > :09:30.entertainment. I remember as a child playing here. But mindful of the

:09:31. > :09:37.floods of 1953, the council wants to improve defences and plans to build

:09:38. > :09:40.a two metre high wall stretching for one kilometre behind the be`ch huts.

:09:41. > :09:45.Campaigners say it will dev`state the common. Unbelievable th`t a

:09:46. > :09:50.common that has been here shnce 1900, with the beach huts hdre

:09:51. > :09:54.before my house and any houses within two miles, that that can be

:09:55. > :09:59.destroyed in such a and chedring fashion. There has been a c`fe on

:10:00. > :10:03.the common for as long as anyone remember, the owner seeing business

:10:04. > :10:09.will be hit. And beach hut owners do not want the while either, saying

:10:10. > :10:17.disabled access will be difficult. `` do not want the whole. I am a

:10:18. > :10:21.retired war veteran, on 100$ disability, and I feel if the wall

:10:22. > :10:31.is built, with the best will in the world, it will be extremely

:10:32. > :10:36.difficult to climb any inclhnes It is an absolutely beautiful spot And

:10:37. > :10:40.I just do not want it ruined. But even though the recent storl surge

:10:41. > :10:47.did not breach the existing wall, the council says he defences do need

:10:48. > :10:52.improvement. There are nearly 2 0 homes, not just people, but Holmes,

:10:53. > :10:58.with all those people at risk at the moment. `` but homes. If we do not

:10:59. > :11:01.put that protection in, somd of the events that could happen, Anja

:11:02. > :11:08.Juniper know when one in 200 year will happen. `` you never know when.

:11:09. > :11:11.Those people will be at risk. The planning committee came to learn

:11:12. > :11:16.more about the proposals thhs morning. There was later a protest

:11:17. > :11:24.outside the Civic Centre, btt the plan was still voted through, the

:11:25. > :11:26.whole will be built. `` the wall. Detectives have released new

:11:27. > :11:30.photographs of James Attfield who was murdered in Colchester 01 days

:11:31. > :11:33.ago. He was found on Saturd`y 2 th March in Castle Park. He had more

:11:34. > :11:37.than 100 knife wounds. The police want people who may have sedn him in

:11:38. > :11:40.the area to contact them. Three people appeared in cotrt today

:11:41. > :11:43.in Ipswich charged with supplying crack cocaine and heroin. Antonio

:11:44. > :11:46.Bennett and Clare Rivett from Finchley Road and Leonard Flynn from

:11:47. > :11:57.Tye Road were arrested during police raids yesterday. They face ` total

:11:58. > :11:59.of 25 charges related to supplying drugs.

:12:00. > :12:02.A public meeting is being hdld tonight over controversial plans to

:12:03. > :12:05.merge parts of the police sdrvice in Norfolk with Suffolk. One proposal

:12:06. > :12:07.is to relocate the Suffolk Police control room to Norfolk Polhce

:12:08. > :12:17.headquarters. Still to come tonight... Prhncess

:12:18. > :12:22.Anne gets a lesson on the bhrth of boating on the broads.

:12:23. > :12:28.And why Seb is preparing to run the marathon dressed as the London

:12:29. > :12:35.Gherkin. Fetching costume, isn't it?

:12:36. > :12:39.A strong pound is being blaled for a fall in exports from this rdgion.

:12:40. > :12:43.The latest figures show thex fell by 4.6% in the last three months of

:12:44. > :12:48.2013 compared to the same pdriod in 2012. That's the bad news.

:12:49. > :12:56.The good news is that exports to Asia, the Middle East and South

:12:57. > :13:00.America are all booming. Sales to Saudi Arabia were up nearly 40%

:13:01. > :13:03.Sales to Chile were even higher Up 93% to ?63 million. It's spdcialist

:13:04. > :13:07.products and luxury items they're after.

:13:08. > :13:13.They do things the traditional way at Cheaney Shoes. And it sedms to be

:13:14. > :13:17.paying off. Exports at the tpmarket men's footwear firm have dotbled in

:13:18. > :13:22.the last four years. Good ndws for the 140 staff at Desborough in

:13:23. > :13:27.Northamptonshire. A pair of shoes made here cost up to ?300. @ price

:13:28. > :13:32.middle`class consumers in Asia are increasingly willing to pay. Well,

:13:33. > :13:39.England is still, rather like Italy, renowned for footwear. But

:13:40. > :13:42.particular the welted type of construction and it's a verx high

:13:43. > :13:45.quality mark to be made in Dngland. Japan is our number one market.

:13:46. > :13:49.Continental Europe is also pretty strong. We have also been growing

:13:50. > :13:52.very well in new markets, stch as China, South Korea, Russia. Asian

:13:53. > :13:56.demand for luxury goods is ` bright spot in our trade figures. But the

:13:57. > :14:01.region's overall exports ard down over the past year. The main reason

:14:02. > :14:06.is falling sales to the countries of the EU, especially France. But

:14:07. > :14:13.exports to certain places ottside Europe are booming. Regions such as

:14:14. > :14:20.the Middle East and North Africa. Saudi Arabia was up 39%. Libya 0%.

:14:21. > :14:25.And Qatar 58%. Middle Eastern sales are fuelling growth at this small

:14:26. > :14:30.firm near Newmarket. It recdntly won a ?35,000 contract to supplx a horse

:14:31. > :14:33.feed supplement to Qatar. It helps racing horses to fight muscle

:14:34. > :14:37.fatigue, so they can exercise and compete for longer. Qatar is very

:14:38. > :14:46.much a growing market on thd racing scene. But also, many of thd owners

:14:47. > :14:49.will also have operations in Europe in terms of horses based with

:14:50. > :14:53.European trainers and around the world. So really, to be involved

:14:54. > :14:56.with Qatar at this stage, for us, is great. Selling more to small

:14:57. > :15:01.countries like Qatar is alw`ys welcome. But for overall exports to

:15:02. > :15:10.start growing again, the recovery in major markets, such as France and

:15:11. > :15:14.Germany, is essential. Lots of midweek sport to look at.

:15:15. > :15:20.Here's Phil. Thanks very much. We'll start with

:15:21. > :15:23.football. Former Norwich City boss, Chris Hughton, has spoken for the

:15:24. > :15:27.first time since he was sacked on Sunday. In a statement, he said he

:15:28. > :15:31.was "disappointed" to have lost his job, but "proud to have served

:15:32. > :15:34.Norwich City". He also said he was confident that he would havd kept

:15:35. > :15:38.them in the Premier League. He added he would take some time to reflect,

:15:39. > :15:40.before moving on to his next challenge.

:15:41. > :15:43.Elsewhere in football, a big win for Ipswich keeps alive their hope of a

:15:44. > :15:46.Championship play`off spot. Paul Anderson and Daryl Murphy on target

:15:47. > :15:51.against Huddersfield. The Blues are now two points off the top six.

:15:52. > :15:54.And in League One, a 2`0 win over Gillingham keeps Posh in sixth

:15:55. > :16:00.position. But importantly, ht stretched the gap over seventh place

:16:01. > :16:04.to six points. The Speedway season kicks off for

:16:05. > :16:07.King's Lynn Stars tonight. @nd for the first time in the Elite League,

:16:08. > :16:10.16`year`old Robert Lambert revs his engine. He's stepped up two

:16:11. > :16:18.divisions and many believe he could be a future world champion.

:16:19. > :16:28.Nought to 60 in three seconds on a bike with no breaks isn't for the

:16:29. > :16:32.faint`hearted. `` no brakes. Not to mention throwing it sideways,

:16:33. > :16:35.skidding through every corndr. But at speedway, the Elite Leagte

:16:36. > :16:39.welcomes its youngest member of Kings Lynn this season. 16`xear`old

:16:40. > :16:43.Robert Lambert. Despite his lack of years, he knows a thing or two about

:16:44. > :16:48.two wheels. I've been riding motorbikes since I was thred. Then I

:16:49. > :16:53.went onto grass track when H was six and slowly progressed from that I

:16:54. > :16:57.went on to speedway when I was nine. So I have been around speedway since

:16:58. > :17:01.I was nine years old. Maybe a lot of people from speedway don't know who

:17:02. > :17:05.I am. But hopefully they soon will. I will put something good ott there

:17:06. > :17:08.and they will be shocked at what they see. And if he wants any

:17:09. > :17:13.advice, he doesn't have to go far. The third best rider in the world is

:17:14. > :17:17.next to him in the pits. It's going to be exciting to see what he can

:17:18. > :17:21.make out of it. There is a big difference between being a big

:17:22. > :17:24.talent and to bring it on at the track as well. But he definhtely has

:17:25. > :17:28.the talent to make big things. Back in the workshop, speedway is a bit

:17:29. > :17:31.different to other sports. Failing to prepare won't only leave broken

:17:32. > :17:38.hearts, but broken bikes and broken bones. He has had one big m`jor

:17:39. > :17:43.crash, which was last year over in Germany. His protection,

:17:44. > :17:47.undergarments, are paramount. When he comes off the bike, it rdleases a

:17:48. > :17:51.gas canister and he blows up like a big balloon. And that saved him last

:17:52. > :17:55.year. Despite the odd crash, the trophies are already flooding in.

:17:56. > :18:01.But the target is already sdt high, being the best. I want to bd world

:18:02. > :18:05.champion. I think every riddr's goal is to be world champion. I lean if

:18:06. > :18:09.you go out there not thinking that, I don't think you can do well.

:18:10. > :18:15.You've got to aim for the top. I believe I can get there. Yotng

:18:16. > :18:19.Lambert has set his sights high His friends and family hope he can keep

:18:20. > :18:23.both feet and both wheels on the ground.

:18:24. > :18:26.And there's full coverage of the Stars' meeting with Lakesidd Hammers

:18:27. > :18:29.on BBC Radio Norfolk this evening from seven.

:18:30. > :18:32.In cricket, the England captain Charlotte Edwards, has becole only

:18:33. > :18:36.the second woman to be named as one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the

:18:37. > :18:40.Year. Edwards, from Cambridge, has won five Ashes series, the World Cup

:18:41. > :18:44.and the World Twenty20. I'vd had a lot to take in over the last six

:18:45. > :18:48.months. And this was another thing that has completely shocked me. You

:18:49. > :18:53.know, since I was a child, H've looked at the Wisden. My dad always

:18:54. > :18:57.had every year. To be knowing that I'm in the 2014 edition, it is a

:18:58. > :19:04.very proud moment for me. And finally, some call it a sport.

:19:05. > :19:07.Some just entertainment. But wrestler Paige, who's from Norwich,

:19:08. > :19:10.became the WWE's new Diva's champion this week. The 21`year`old hs now

:19:11. > :19:15.the number one women's wrestler in the world. Congratulations to her

:19:16. > :19:22.and her very proud wrestling family in Norwich. Fancy giving it a go?

:19:23. > :19:30.LAUGHTER. I'm sure I would be unnatur`l! You

:19:31. > :19:35.should give it a go. I will stick to kick boxing. And you're verx good at

:19:36. > :19:42.that. But you have not tried the London Marathon? I have not, and I

:19:43. > :19:48.will not. We have some very good people, the director is running

:19:49. > :19:51.That is this Sunday. Between now and then, we'll be meeting some of this

:19:52. > :19:55.year's runners. We start tonight with a Cambridge man who's lade sure

:19:56. > :19:59.he'll stand out from the crowd. Seb Falk is doing a PhD. He's

:20:00. > :20:03.studying the history of medheval astronomy. He volunteers here at the

:20:04. > :20:06.Whipple Museum of the History of Science in Cambridge. But in his

:20:07. > :20:17.spare moments, rare moments, Seb Falk is Gherkinman.

:20:18. > :20:25.Seb is running the London M`rathon as the London Gherkin. And ht is

:20:26. > :20:31.going to hurt. The furthest I have run in this costume in training is

:20:32. > :20:35.eight miles. Um, the first time I did that, I crashed into a low

:20:36. > :20:40.bridge. So it was a bit of ` concern. It needed a bit of patching

:20:41. > :20:43.up with gaffer tape. But ye`h, I've done all my runs with extra weight,

:20:44. > :20:48.so I am prepared for the wehght but the wind resistance could bd a bit

:20:49. > :20:51.of an issue. Seb has made a video of his training, which is helphng to

:20:52. > :20:55.raise money for Parkinson's research. He's already got ?8,0 0

:20:56. > :20:58.and he's hoping to push it to ten. It is Parkinson's Awareness Week.

:20:59. > :21:02.But he's more aware of Parkhnson's than most. His dad Fergus h`s

:21:03. > :21:06.suffered with the condition for 15 years. It's a disease that can

:21:07. > :21:11.affect men and women. At allost any age. And it really just takds your

:21:12. > :21:14.life away from you and it's pretty hideous. So it's something that I

:21:15. > :21:18.think is a really important cause, obviously, and I hope that other

:21:19. > :21:21.people will agree with that and will support me. And if nothing dlse

:21:22. > :21:25.they'll get a laugh out of trying to watch me run the marathon in this

:21:26. > :21:29.costume. Seb was born in 1980, the year Seb Coe won at the Moscow

:21:30. > :21:34.Olympics. On Sunday, he will go like Coe. He's aiming for sub`3 hours,

:21:35. > :21:40.15. That is chafing fast in a papier`mache body suit. Tod`y,

:21:41. > :21:43.last`minute training and a snap with some French students on a school

:21:44. > :21:53.trip. He'll be wearing race number 31955. But you can't really miss

:21:54. > :22:00.him. Go! CHEERING. Go, Gherkin!

:22:01. > :22:04.Brilliant. Bumped into some low bridges. I love that! And if you're

:22:05. > :22:08.taking part in the London M`rathon this weekend, please send us your

:22:09. > :22:12.photos. Either share on our Facebook page or email look.east@bbc.co.uk. I

:22:13. > :22:18.cannot even say that. If you like mucking about on boats.

:22:19. > :22:24.You might know the name Herbert Woods. He was a pioneer of boating

:22:25. > :22:27.holidays on the Broads nearly 9 years ago. Today, the Princdss Royal

:22:28. > :22:30.joined the celebrations at Potter Heigham to mark his contribttion to

:22:31. > :22:33.the industry. And as Mike Lhggins reports, she found that much has

:22:34. > :22:37.changed since Herbert Woods started out.

:22:38. > :22:41.Herbert Woods was a visionary. In 1920s comedy designed and btilt a

:22:42. > :22:47.new class of board especially the Broads, easier to handle, rdliable,

:22:48. > :22:54.great to look at. The Princdss Royal went on board the latest crtiser,

:22:55. > :22:58.the ?180,000 sovereign light. And she saw the last word in luxury And

:22:59. > :23:05.part of what the company is seeing is a bright future. It is looking

:23:06. > :23:10.good this year, last year w`s good because of the nice weather,

:23:11. > :23:13.carrying through this year, 20% up on this point last year. We hope

:23:14. > :23:19.lots of people will enjoy Broads holidays. The Princess Royal spent

:23:20. > :23:23.about an hour looking at thd old wooden boats, speaking to staff

:23:24. > :23:33.presenting a watch to one m`n who worked here for 50 years. Hdre is

:23:34. > :23:39.really man and boy! He has seen a lot of changes, not least in what is

:23:40. > :23:44.demanded from a Broads cruiser. All the modern things, like teldvisions,

:23:45. > :23:51.microwaves, heating. That is all right? Yes, but more things to go

:23:52. > :23:59.wrong. Which we have to fix if they do. Herbert Woods' youngest daughter

:24:00. > :24:03.flew in from New Zealand for the visit. She has so many happx

:24:04. > :24:08.memories of growing up here, playing in the boat yard and on the water.

:24:09. > :24:15.And here we are today, a melber of the Royal family has been hdre,

:24:16. > :24:19.which must make you very proud? Certainly does, really does, and she

:24:20. > :24:26.was so pleasant and easy to chat with and I enjoyed meeting her. A

:24:27. > :24:30.proud day for the family and all the staff at Herbert Woods. Can you

:24:31. > :24:37.imagine how delighted the m`n who gave his name to the companx would

:24:38. > :24:43.have been? They had a lovely day for it.

:24:44. > :24:52.It was, but at the chilly start some places close to freezing

:24:53. > :24:57.yesterday. Look how the temperatures climbed, a number of locations

:24:58. > :25:03.getting to 17 degrees today, so not bad at all. High pressure across the

:25:04. > :25:09.southern half of the British Isles, looking pretty settled this week.

:25:10. > :25:14.Varied cloud. This afternoon, that pushing into western countids. For

:25:15. > :25:18.some, some cloud over the l`st few hours. But that will begin to melt

:25:19. > :25:24.away this evening. Into somd chilly temperatures overnight. But those

:25:25. > :25:29.should not fall away quite so low because of high temperatures today.

:25:30. > :25:35.Long clear spells allowing Lr to fall into the early hours of

:25:36. > :25:39.tomorrow. `` allowing mist. Temperature is a degree or two Lower

:25:40. > :25:48.rural sports could mean somd ground frost. Tomorrow is similar to today.

:25:49. > :25:53.Dry and sunny spells. Cloudx through the afternoon than today. That may

:25:54. > :25:56.suppress temperatures are lhttle. Off to a chilly start, earlx mist

:25:57. > :26:01.clearing, then sunny spells once more. The cloud bubble bobble up of

:26:02. > :26:06.the afternoon, so we could dnd up with quite a cloudy picture through

:26:07. > :26:14.the afternoon. That battle cloud will bubble up. Temperatures to

:26:15. > :26:18.15`16 degrees and a light whnd from the West. The afternoon maybe

:26:19. > :26:24.cloudy, but a fine end to the day. Some change on the way. The pressure

:26:25. > :26:29.part in late Thursday into Friday, a cold front, not much rain on it

:26:30. > :26:33.just probably get using mord cloud. High pressure then builds in for the

:26:34. > :26:41.weekend, so not a bad forec`st at all. For Friday, it maybe cloudy in

:26:42. > :26:48.that front cleared to slow `` slow to clear, and feeling cooler, and

:26:49. > :26:50.sunny spells for the afternoon. Then into the weekend, and it looks like

:26:51. > :26:59.good conditions for the London Marathon. Cool start, becomhng

:27:00. > :27:04.Sally, `` becoming sunny. One chilly night to flag up, Friday night,

:27:05. > :27:10.tomorrow night with more cloud will be milder.

:27:11. > :27:12.That is it. Thanks for your company this evening. See you tomorrow.

:27:13. > :27:52.Goodbye. 'But mostly,

:27:53. > :28:05.you've got to be In It To Win It.' The new series of the

:28:06. > :28:08.National Lottery: In It To Win It,
