:00:29. > :00:30.The coastguard who are coordinating the incident have calculated the

:00:31. > :00:34.survivability in the current weather and water conditions to 23 hours.

:00:35. > :00:38.It is the intention at the loment to run the search throughout the night

:00:39. > :00:44.There will be people out searching through the night.

:01:33. > :01:35.One of the region's wildlifd trusts is to start vaccinathng

:01:36. > :01:40.It was the spread of the disease among cattle in the West Cotntry

:01:41. > :01:42.that prompted a controversi`l cull of badgers last year.

:01:43. > :01:45.The Essex Wildlife Trust saxs it's trying to prevent anything

:01:46. > :01:51.In a secret location in Essdx, a search for signs

:01:52. > :01:56.Later this summer, the Essex Wildlife Trust will begin Operation

:01:57. > :02:00.Jab, trapping and vaccinating badgers against bovine tuberculosis.

:02:01. > :02:07.The trust is very aware of the hardship that bovine TB can

:02:08. > :02:11.cause farmers and the stress it can cause, so what we are setting up

:02:12. > :02:15.this year is a five`year programme to vaccinate badgers, where we have

:02:16. > :02:21.This shows you how big badger sets can get.

:02:22. > :02:24.The reason that we cannot s`y where we are filming is because of the

:02:25. > :02:27.concern that if people know that badgers are being trapped in the

:02:28. > :02:33.area, people may come and steal them and use them in illegal dogfights.

:02:34. > :02:36.Last year, in tuberculosis hotspots Gloucestershire and West Solerset,

:02:37. > :02:41.badgers were culled, despite protests.

:02:42. > :02:43.It is thought that badgers spread the disease, and infdcted

:02:44. > :02:50.But bovine tuberculosis hasn't yet reached Essex and, because `t that,

:02:51. > :02:54.Essex farmer Guy Smith, vice president of the National

:02:55. > :03:01.Farmers' Union, says vaccin`ting badgers here is unnecessary.

:03:02. > :03:04.I would just question what they are going to learn in a situation where

:03:05. > :03:11.Personally, I would do it in the edge areas on the frhnges

:03:12. > :03:14.of TB hotspot areas, countids like Cheshire and Derbyshird.

:03:15. > :03:21.But the wildlife trust belidves that vaccinating badgers in Essex will

:03:22. > :03:30.make a future outbreak and the need for a cull more unlikely.

:03:31. > :03:32.A motorcycle stuntman from Cambridgeshire has been reldased

:03:33. > :03:36.from hospital after he crashed during a wall of death ride.

:03:44. > :03:56.and was airlifted to hospit`l, where he was treated for a head injury.

:03:57. > :04:03.It is a risk of the job. I have always balanced well. I do not go as

:04:04. > :04:07.high as I get older. 50 farms in East Anglia opened

:04:08. > :04:10.their gates today as part of this It's to get people more in touch

:04:11. > :04:15.with where their food comes from. They get to roam the fields,

:04:16. > :04:18.meet the animals and see The added attraction at this farm

:04:19. > :04:39.at Milton near Cambridge? Good evening, a top temperature of

:04:40. > :04:42.25 degrees today, one of our warmest days so far. Tomorrow will be warm,

:04:43. > :04:49.though some areas will have showers in the afternoon. We will h`ve the

:04:50. > :04:56.remnants of overnight rain hn some spots, clearing up later. Elsewhere

:04:57. > :05:01.dry weather. Many of us will have sunny spells. But in the afternoon,

:05:02. > :05:04.there is a risk of some showers Drifting northwards, as well. Not

:05:05. > :05:15.everyone will see those showers but it is worth talking about the risk

:05:16. > :05:19.for Cambridge. Top temperattres of 23 or 24 Celsius, a fine dax if you

:05:20. > :05:24.avoid the shower was. There could be shower was for some of us on

:05:25. > :05:30.Tuesday, but it will be recdding all the time. High pressure will kill

:05:31. > :05:33.those showers off. Ten badgdrs act at least 20 Celsius. More drive from

:05:34. > :05:39.Wednesday. `` temperatures.
