:00:20. > :00:24.One of the region's most senior clergy man has launched an `ttack on

:00:25. > :00:27.the Home Office after five students from Africa were banned frol

:00:28. > :00:31.entering the country. The church was going to pay for the theological

:00:32. > :00:35.students to visit SX, but they were refused entry into the UK. The

:00:36. > :00:40.Bishop of Chelmsford said it is a slur on them and the church. Links

:00:41. > :00:44.between Kenyan churches and the diocese of Chelmsford date back 40

:00:45. > :00:48.years. Along number that prhnciple, the students were due here for a

:00:49. > :00:52.three`week trip to further their studies. But the Home Officd will

:00:53. > :00:57.not let them in, fearing thdy may not return home. It is nonsdnse We

:00:58. > :00:59.are going to pay them up from the airport, they will stay in our

:01:00. > :01:05.homes, we are going to pay them up from the airport, they will stay in

:01:06. > :01:09.our homes, they are going about their studies and it is an hnsult to

:01:10. > :01:13.them and I think, is slow on the Church of England and the UK we

:01:14. > :01:16.should behave in such a petty way. It is an offence against colmon

:01:17. > :01:21.sense and an offence against justice. Josephine Muriithi is one

:01:22. > :01:28.of the students, she has a family in Kenya. But her application was

:01:29. > :01:30.refused and the Home Office were not satisfied she could financi`lly

:01:31. > :01:35.supported trip and afford to return home. The British Government is

:01:36. > :01:39.refusing the student's Visa on the basis that they are not going to

:01:40. > :01:44.come back when everything is very clear. When they see the sttdents

:01:45. > :01:48.have no income, we all know that students don't have in common. We

:01:49. > :01:54.have been students ourselves. And today's the refusal on that is very

:01:55. > :01:58.disappointing. Bishop Stephdn control is right into SX MPs to put

:01:59. > :02:03.pressure on Government to apply greater discretion for the

:02:04. > :02:07.individual applications. I do believe it is anybody's intdntion

:02:08. > :02:10.that this should happen, but the facts seem to be that the Home

:02:11. > :02:13.Office have outsourced this Visa Works other people and they'll

:02:14. > :02:17.simply `` there is simple enough common sense, let alone discretion.

:02:18. > :02:21.Both sides say the students are missed out on such a valuable

:02:22. > :02:29.educational opportunity and they hope it doesn't happen again. A cold

:02:30. > :02:34.case investigation into the murder of a nightclub doorman in C`mbridge

:02:35. > :02:38.18 years ago has been shelvdd by the police. The case was reopendd seven

:02:39. > :02:43.months ago, but detectives have not had the breakthrough they hoped for.

:02:44. > :02:47.24`year`old Ian Grant was a body`builder who stood six foot

:02:48. > :02:52.five. He knew how to look after himself. But in November 1985 his

:02:53. > :02:55.body was found on land near is home at Cherry Hinton. He had bedn shot

:02:56. > :02:59.in the head. To look after himself. But in November 1995 his body was

:03:00. > :03:05.found on land near is home `t Cherry Hinton. He had been shot in the

:03:06. > :03:28.head. Two is are moved on, fear and intimidation that existed 18 years

:03:29. > :03:32.ago is no longer there. I'm incredibly optimistic that we will

:03:33. > :03:35.unlock the truth of this case. The review was spurred by a fresh look

:03:36. > :03:38.at friends Kevin 's and a new witnesses coming forward. But

:03:39. > :03:41.despite one arrested Decembdr, statement, the police told the BBC

:03:42. > :03:46.that murder of Ian Grant and now have a

:03:47. > :03:51.much push the investigation further at

:03:52. > :03:58.this stage. When called of hope that it will bring results.

:03:59. > :04:07.The police and the file British grand B. Nico Rosberg will

:04:08. > :04:15.start on pole mark the arrival of the Tour de

:04:16. > :04:21.France in this Cambridge where the third stage of

:04:22. > :04:26.the store starts off from family fun day in Chelmsford as

:04:27. > :04:31.micro`Chelmsford ahead of the tour's arrival there. Good dvening.

:04:32. > :04:34.I'm afraid there is more wet weather to come, holding onto the show so

:04:35. > :04:39.much of this evening and evdn through the night. They largely

:04:40. > :04:42.cloudy night with some clear spells and it will be fairly warm, as well.

:04:43. > :04:45.Tomorrow morning, some showdry rain to the east, in particular `long the

:04:46. > :04:49.coast there. Showers further inland as well, but western parts will not

:04:50. > :04:53.be too bad tomorrow morning. We have a much drier, brighter periods

:04:54. > :04:57.later, but they are short lhved before more showers coming from the

:04:58. > :05:02.West. Temperatures should rdach about 20, 20 one Celsius tolorrow.

:05:03. > :05:05.We hold onto that sunshine `nd those showers for much of next wedk with

:05:06. > :05:13.temperatures in the low 20s. That is it, we return

:05:14. > :05:19.Good evening. It looks like for most of us the weather will be fairly

:05:20. > :05:23.similar to what we saw today. The broad themes throughout this

:05:24. > :05:27.weekend, sunny spells and scattering of showers, but not much evening

:05:28. > :05:29.sunshine round, I have to say s across south-east England, and
