:00:38. > :00:40.It's been estimated well ovdr half of Corby's population are
:00:41. > :00:47.But they won't be able to take part in the real referendum themselves.
:00:48. > :00:51.I think the Scottish people, if you were born in Scotland, therd is an
:00:52. > :00:54.argument they should get the vote because it will have a bearhng on
:00:55. > :00:57.whether in two years time, if they go to Scotland, whether thex need ID
:00:58. > :01:02.It wasn't supposed to be serious but the Labour Party's
:01:03. > :01:05.top spokeswoman on Scotland turned up,
:01:06. > :01:12.I accept people don't have ` vote here, but they have a voice,
:01:13. > :01:15.and in Scotland we are taken by the fact that people across Britain
:01:16. > :01:19.are taking such an interest in the referendum, that they care about the
:01:20. > :01:23.outcome of it, they actually don't want Scotland, by and large,
:01:24. > :01:28.This has been a Scottish enclave since thd 30s
:01:29. > :01:31.when workers from the Clyde came South to the Corby steel plants.
:01:32. > :01:35.That's four generations of Scottish heritage.
:01:36. > :01:38.I vote we should stay as one country, I am for the union.
:01:39. > :01:40.I think Scotland should be independent.
:01:41. > :01:46.My mother was born in Aberdeen, my father is English, so I am British.
:01:47. > :01:52.In the end, 576 people cast their vote and the result was very clear.
:01:53. > :02:08.The result may be a comfort to the no campaign
:02:09. > :02:11.but there's no guarantee thd verdict of Corby expats will be reflected in
:02:12. > :02:22.Two months is a very long time in politics.
:02:23. > :02:25.Next, questions hanging over the future of a small Suffolk seaport.
:02:26. > :02:28.Campaigners say the harbour at Southwold is being neglected.
:02:29. > :02:31.They believe that, legally, the town should own the harbour
:02:32. > :02:35.But the town council says it doesn't want the responsibility
:02:36. > :02:40.As picture perfect as it can seem, Southwold harbour needs investment.
:02:41. > :02:43.One side of the harbour wall is dilapidated.
:02:44. > :02:46.The caravan park needs updating. Some claim the local
:02:47. > :02:49.District Council, Waveney, is taking rents on this
:02:50. > :02:58.The caravan site has, for many years, been treated as a cash cow.
:02:59. > :03:01.I appreciate they have to find funds to run their services,
:03:02. > :03:04.but they also have to keep the harbour in good repair.
:03:05. > :03:07.Some claim the District Council shouldn't own the land at all.
:03:08. > :03:10.When local government was rdformed in the 70s, they say it should have
:03:11. > :03:17.Waveney District Council adlits that it relies on the income from
:03:18. > :03:25.But Southwold Town Council say they can't afford the liability of taking
:03:26. > :03:28.on the ownership or the leg`l costs that could come with it.
:03:29. > :03:32.There's boat`building, there's fisherman there, and
:03:33. > :03:35.if there was to be an acciddnt, it could possibly cost the town council
:03:36. > :03:53.A six`week consultation on the future
:03:54. > :03:58.The one thing that wasn't up for discussion, though, is
