:00:43. > :00:53.Each First World War grave was given a union flag and a poppy cross.

:00:54. > :00:56.It commemorates those from the Scottish regiments that died.

:01:05. > :01:07.diseases that people in Bedford were immune from, but because thdy were

:01:08. > :01:12.They were buried here to be next to their mates who signed up

:01:13. > :01:17.In Ipswich today, troops from the present`day exercised their freedom

:01:18. > :01:22.of the borough, reservists from the Royal Logistic Corps marched into

:01:23. > :01:27.Christchurch Park to receivd their campaign medals from the maxor.

:01:28. > :01:31.They are just back from the final six`month tour of Afghanist`n.

:01:32. > :01:33.That recognition of the commitment that our guys have

:01:34. > :01:37.shown by volunteering to serve overseas, particularly in a

:01:38. > :01:41.dangerous operation, it is testament to them that people have cole out to

:01:42. > :01:46.It is poignant to mark todax on the anniversary of the start

:01:47. > :01:52.We think back, could really do what they did 100 years ago?

:04:24. > :04:25.A gruelling sporting challenge took place in Essex this wedkend.

:04:26. > :04:28.Long`distance walkers attempted to walk 100 miles in just 24 hours

:04:29. > :04:31.They set off yesterday at the Garon Park Athletic track in Southend

:04:32. > :04:33.They had to complete 400 laps of the track.

:04:46. > :04:50.in regular events, shorter distance events, this is a big step tp once
