:00:11. > :00:16.Good evening. A court's been hearing of the final fatal journey of a

:00:17. > :00:20.teenager who lost her life `t a notorious accident blackspot in

:00:21. > :00:23.Peterborough. Hannah Yates, who was 19, lost control of her car on

:00:24. > :00:28.Northbank, near Whittlesey, and it plunged into the water. Hannah's

:00:29. > :00:31.death was one in a series of accidents last winter. Desphte

:00:32. > :00:40.safety barriers being put up, today campaigners said the measurds still

:00:41. > :00:45.didn't go far enough. A beautiful girl who we miss so

:00:46. > :00:52.much. Our hearts are broken. The words of Hannah Yates's famhly after

:00:53. > :01:04.the inquest today into her death. She died after her car went into the

:01:05. > :01:10.river one night last winter. Hannah Yates was happy in herself `nd was

:01:11. > :01:16.on her way to see her voice friend. After she crashed, a witness heard

:01:17. > :01:21.her shouting. She said that she was trapped and it sounded as if she was

:01:22. > :01:23.banging on the glass. It was one of a series of accidents starthng with

:01:24. > :01:51.her death. Today the coroner said that

:01:52. > :01:55.Hannah's death was accident`l. After her death, her family joined

:01:56. > :02:01.campaigners, calling the better safety measures. Temporarilx speed

:02:02. > :02:06.limits were brought in and safety barriers put up on the end where

:02:07. > :02:16.Hannah Yates died. It is a shame that it took Hannah's death to make

:02:17. > :02:22.the council finally realised the need for a safety barrier on this

:02:23. > :02:27.road. Her family said today they were disappointed the corondr did

:02:28. > :02:30.not ask for more safety measures, but they had to accept what had

:02:31. > :02:36.happened and move on with their lives.

:02:37. > :02:39.In less than 24 hours a votd in Brussels could mean online hmages of

:02:40. > :02:41.child sexual abuse become more difficult to block. The

:02:42. > :02:43.Cambridgeshire based charitx The Internet Watch Foundation is

:02:44. > :02:46.concerned that a decision tomorrow by the European Parliament will lead

:02:47. > :02:55.to images remaining accessible on the internet for longer. Ben Bland

:02:56. > :02:59.has the details. Last year the foundation received reports of more

:03:00. > :03:03.than 13,000 websites that wdre hosting images of children being

:03:04. > :03:07.sexually abused. At the momdnt they share the web address with the

:03:08. > :03:11.service provider Hugh Block it almost immediately. The new law

:03:12. > :03:15.could make it illegal for the Internet providers to do th`t in the

:03:16. > :03:21.future. Instead they might have to get a court order and that hs

:03:22. > :03:26.opposed by one of the members of the European Parliament. This is

:03:27. > :03:32.irresponsible and dangerous and that amendment must not be allowdd to go

:03:33. > :03:39.through. And this matters bdcause removing and deleting the ilages and

:03:40. > :03:42.take up to a couple of weeks, so the ability to temporarily block access

:03:43. > :03:50.to the web address almost immediately is very important.

:03:51. > :03:53.So why are they doing this? To make it easier for legitimate businesses

:03:54. > :03:58.to trade across Europe without worrying that their websites are

:03:59. > :04:04.slow down of locked. Someone in Cambridge be abld to live

:04:05. > :04:12.from someone trading in Belgium as easily as buying from a company

:04:13. > :04:16.based in this country. Our region's Conservative and Labour MPs want

:04:17. > :04:31.assurances that Internet providers will be able to log websites hosting

:04:32. > :04:35.illegal images. `` block websites. Next, more on the record levels of

:04:36. > :04:38.air pollution affecting our region. Government experts say todax in

:04:39. > :04:41.parts of East Anglia and thd East Midlands levels have peaked. It s

:04:42. > :04:44.partly caused by dust from the Sahara. Joining me now is Dr Alison

:04:45. > :04:47.Greig from Anglia Ruskin Unhversity. Why has this region been so badly

:04:48. > :04:52.affected? This part of the country is being effected because it is in

:04:53. > :04:56.the path of the airstream which has come up from the Sahara, crossed

:04:57. > :05:02.over Europe and ended up in this part of the world. So do yot think

:05:03. > :05:07.these high levels we have bden experiencing today are a ond off or

:05:08. > :05:15.will we see these conditions again? Generally, we get this sort of

:05:16. > :05:20.airstream about five or six times every year. This is the first time

:05:21. > :05:25.this year we have seen it. Ht does happen occasionally. We havd seen

:05:26. > :05:30.extreme rainfall over the l`st few months. Part of that has bedn put

:05:31. > :05:36.down to climate change. Do xou think these high levels of elution are

:05:37. > :05:42.down to the same thing? It hs very difficult to in any particular event

:05:43. > :05:47.on climate change, but the dxperts have said, and they are quite

:05:48. > :05:51.possibility that we are seehng possibility that we are seehng

:05:52. > :05:57.changes in our weather pattdrns due to climate change and so whhlst we

:05:58. > :06:01.cannot pin this particular dpisode on climate change, it is possible

:06:02. > :06:05.that in the future we are lhkely to see different weather patterns, this

:06:06. > :06:16.sort of thing happening mord, or even less because of climatd change.

:06:17. > :06:20.Thank you very much for joining us. Football, and just one result to

:06:21. > :06:23.tell you about from tonight. In League One Peterborough plaxed at

:06:24. > :06:31.home to Colchester. Posh won the match ` final score 2`0. Th`t is all

:06:32. > :06:36.from the late team, but don't forget from the late team, but don't forget

:06:37. > :06:45.our breakfast bulletins beghn from 6:25am. Time now for the we`ther.

:06:46. > :06:51.It is quite cloudy across the region at the moment and there has been

:06:52. > :06:57.rain and drizzle, but the rdst of the night look mainly dry. There

:06:58. > :07:01.could be some fog patches developing, but it won't be a cold

:07:02. > :07:07.night. We start with some mhst and fog, but that will lift and there

:07:08. > :07:12.will be hazy sunshine. It whll feel warmer with temperatures around 18

:07:13. > :07:21.degrees Celsius. For the afternoon, cloud might produce rain across

:07:22. > :07:28.western counties. On Friday we will get a fresh air mass. In a loment,

:07:29. > :07:31.the National forecast, but here is the outlook.

:07:32. > :07:36.be dry. The air pollution has been hitting the headlines today. For

:07:37. > :07:43.more information on that, here is my colleague.

:07:44. > :07:48.Good evening. Very hazy skies in London today and many other towns

:07:49. > :07:52.and cities across the UK. On Thursday there is the chance of some

:07:53. > :07:56.pretty high pollution in the south-east and East Anglia but by

:07:57. > :08:02.the time we get towards the end of the week, we will see clearer

:08:03. > :08:06.Atlantique air coming in and we should get rid of the Saharan dust

:08:07. > :08:15.which has been making services grubby in the last few days. You can

:08:16. > :08:16.see the pattern across the Atlantic. We also have a weather
