:21:10. > :21:12.at the British Championships in Glasgow The final's tonight. He s
:21:13. > :21:15.got a number of other events this weekend too. And don't forgdt the
:21:16. > :21:16.cricket season starts for Northants and Essex on Sunday.
:21:17. > :21:26.There's coverage on BBC Loc`l Radio. For those of you training for the
:21:27. > :21:29.London Marathon on Sunday, xou're almost there. Hundreds of rtnners
:21:30. > :21:32.from our region are taking part including two ladies who drhnk beer
:21:33. > :21:36.for a living. They work at the Adnams Brewery in Suffolk Btt of
:21:37. > :21:40.course a few pints and runnhng 6 miles don't really go hand hn hand,
:21:41. > :21:46.so something had to go. The details from Sam Naz.
:21:47. > :21:49.It may sound like the dream job but making that perfect beer takes
:21:50. > :21:52.careful planning, patience `nd precision. Now Adnam's mastdr brewer
:21:53. > :21:59.Belinda Jennings is putting those skills to use in a different
:22:00. > :22:05.challenge ` the London Marathon Hi, Belinda. Should you be doing that?
:22:06. > :22:08.Hi, Sam. It's OK, I'm just having a little sip. OK, obviously, with your
:22:09. > :22:14.Marathon training you are off the booze?
:22:15. > :22:23.Any temptation? Not at all. I'm so focused for
:22:24. > :22:26.Sunday. Just a little sip whll do me.
:22:27. > :22:29.This year, she won't be alone ` colleague Emma is joining hdr on
:22:30. > :22:32.that gruelling marathon course for the first time.
:22:33. > :22:36.Hi, Belinda. I'm just having a bit of a taste for inspiration. I wanted
:22:37. > :22:39.to show you some bits, but H also wanted to talk to you about Sunday.
:22:40. > :22:42.Are you all set? I'm getting there. I'm excited but
:22:43. > :22:46.terrified. A marathon is a huge commitlent
:22:47. > :22:49.with hours of training. When they're done with their day job, thdy spend
:22:50. > :22:56.their lunchtimes pounding the prom, and what a place to do it.
:22:57. > :23:00.This is my fifth one. That doesn't make it any easier. It's sthll as
:23:01. > :23:04.exciting as the first one w`s. It's as nerve wracking as well. H have a
:23:05. > :23:07.couple of friends with disabled children, and I know the problems
:23:08. > :23:09.that arise from that. Whizz Kids provide mobility for disabldd
:23:10. > :23:15.children to give them some independence.
:23:16. > :23:18.I'm running for St Elizabeth's Hospice. I'm running for thdm
:23:19. > :23:23.because my dad sadly passed away 18 months ago. I can't think of a
:23:24. > :23:28.better charity to run for. They set up a Hospice at home to enable my
:23:29. > :23:29.dad to die while we were around him. Don't push yourself too much, just
:23:30. > :23:42.enjoy I'm just a real combination of a bag
:23:43. > :23:43.of nerves and a real spring of excitement.
:23:44. > :23:47.Weeks of training, more than 30 000 competitors, 26 miles. The challenge
:23:48. > :23:55.that awaits them is far frol small beer.
:23:56. > :24:19.And if you are taking part, have a great day. We'd love to see your
:24:20. > :24:24.pictures. I admire everyone who is taking
:24:25. > :24:32.part. I hope you enjoy it. Now for the weather.
:24:33. > :24:39.It's looking pretty good. It's certainly not going to be r`ining.
:24:40. > :24:44.Temperatures may climb to around 16 Celsius with sunny spells. We may
:24:45. > :24:50.have quite a bit of cloud around at times on Sunday. Quite a cool start
:24:51. > :24:54.with some cloud around, but it should break to allow the stnshine
:24:55. > :24:59.to come out. The afternoon hs looking a little bit warmer. No rain
:25:00. > :25:04.on the forecast, so the verx best of luck to everyone taking part. Our
:25:05. > :25:09.temperature today was quite interesting because we had `
:25:10. > :25:15.northerly breeze. Depending on where you'll is, it did make a difference
:25:16. > :25:23.to how it felt. `` depending on where you live. Some parts got to 14
:25:24. > :25:28.or 15 degrees. Those are sililar temperatures to what we will see the
:25:29. > :25:33.weekend. It will stay mainlx dry and bright with some cloud around at
:25:34. > :25:38.times. You will certainly notice the breeze, particularly through
:25:39. > :25:41.tomorrow. Tonight is the drx night, with some clear spells around and
:25:42. > :25:45.some mist patches around thd early hours of tomorrow morning. Ht won't
:25:46. > :25:51.prevent temperatures from f`lling away. Do be aware that if you are
:25:52. > :25:57.out in rural locations, the temperatures may get lower. We are
:25:58. > :26:02.at risk of a touch of ground frost. The pressure pattern for tolorrow
:26:03. > :26:06.looks like a fine morning. This cold front is heading down from the North
:26:07. > :26:10.West. It won't have very much rain by the time it gets to ask, but it
:26:11. > :26:17.will mean cloudier skies for the afternoon. `` by the time it gets to
:26:18. > :26:24.us. That cloud starts to go for the afternoon. Temperature is still
:26:25. > :26:29.likely to get to around 15 degrees. There will be a bit of a noticeable
:26:30. > :26:33.breeze. Where the figure cloud is, there is the chance of an isolated
:26:34. > :26:38.shower, but for most of us ht looks as if it will stay dry. High
:26:39. > :26:43.pressure is the dominant fe`ture for Sunday into Monday. It is looking
:26:44. > :26:48.like some fine conditions as we start next week. But with some clear
:26:49. > :26:54.skies during the day, it will mean some chilly nights. Temperatures by
:26:55. > :27:00.day up to 14 degrees, but bx night down to three Celsius. We are still
:27:01. > :27:03.at the risk of a touch of frost and places. Not a bad outlook.
