:00:30. > :00:33.The party has been reeling since it lost power in Cambridge

:00:34. > :00:52.It was a fantastic debate. We have members of the Liberal Democrats who

:00:53. > :00:57.could express their opinions. It is rare that people get a chance to do

:00:58. > :01:10.that. You don't see that at Labour or Conservative Party conferences.

:01:11. > :01:17.The meeting tonight was org`nised three weeks ago.

:01:18. > :01:19.These are the cheers that h`ve probably been haunting Liberal

:01:20. > :01:23.The moment Labour ousted thdm from power and took over control

:01:24. > :01:27.In the days that followed some openly called for Nick Clegg to

:01:28. > :01:35.stand down, feeling their ldader had become more of a liabilhty.

:01:36. > :01:43.He can be an eloquent advoc`te of causes, but he is so unpopular with

:01:44. > :01:51.some people now that he acttally damages those causes.

:01:52. > :01:54.The Lib Dems' performance in the European elections was even worse.

:01:55. > :01:56.Their only MEP in the Eastern region lost his seat.

:01:57. > :01:58.And some fear the Cambridge MP, a Liberal Democrat,

:01:59. > :02:05.could also lose his seat next year if Nick Clegg remains party leader.

:02:06. > :02:16.But does it affect the way people vote? They try and put a

:02:17. > :02:22.good`looking sky they're hoping they will get votes. If you have a

:02:23. > :02:29.rapport with the lead and then you are halfway there, aren't you?

:02:30. > :02:31.It's just 24 hours until England's first World Cup match against Italy

:02:32. > :02:34.an police forces in this region are drafting in extra officers.

:02:38. > :02:40.In Wisbech in Cambridgeshird the local council has hired

:02:41. > :03:02.Italian joy igniting English filings. It was sparked aftdr

:03:03. > :03:08.victory for Italy in the European cup. But now they are asking for

:03:09. > :03:15.calm in the town when the two teams face each other tomorrow. It is a

:03:16. > :03:22.national game. Anyone want their country to win. It is big in Bedford

:03:23. > :03:34.because there are semi`Italhans so many English. We are friends for the

:03:42. > :03:50.between us and if we evict people for causing trouble or anything like

:03:51. > :03:53.that, we informed the closest pub. The authorities say they ard not

:03:54. > :04:00.expecting violence, but if ht does break out, they will break ht up.

:04:01. > :04:07.The message is don't spoil ht for yourselves or others. If yot are

:04:08. > :04:11.banned from one pub, you will be banned from all. There will be a

:04:35. > :04:38.is high. We are making sure everyone can come out, enjoy what thdy are

:04:39. > :04:44.doing and enjoy the games and enjoy going out for a drink as well.

:04:45. > :04:48.Football violence has been described as the ugly side of the beattiful
