:00:37. > :00:51.Police forensic teams scoured the scene on the B1091 this morning,
:00:52. > :00:53.looking for clues which may help explain how two
:00:54. > :00:56.It happened just after 11 o'clock, when police say
:00:57. > :01:01.The victims are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s.
:01:02. > :01:03.Police are still trying to trace their next of kin.

:01:07. > :01:13.I did hear there had been another hit and run down

:02:24. > :02:29.speak to is the driver of the BMW. We believe he fled the scene on foot

:02:41. > :02:41.level crossing in Lidlington in central Bedfordshire.

:03:18. > :03:20.of UK Athletics and was awarded an MBE for her services
:03:21. > :03:23.She was returning to Harlow from a board meeting in Coventry
:03:24. > :03:26.last month when her train journey of almost three hours turned
:03:27. > :03:33.The CrossCountry train's disabled toilet was out of order.
:03:34. > :03:37.A member of the train crew suggested she get off the train at a station
:03:38. > :03:40.to use the disabled toilet there, but there were no staff
:03:41. > :03:44.She could not wait until the train reached Peterborough.
:03:45. > :03:48.I had to do it. I could not wait.
:03:49. > :03:50.It was humiliating, but I had to do it.
:03:51. > :03:52.When that happened to me, I just realised that sometimes,
:03:53. > :03:54.when you are different, you are so isolated.
:03:55. > :03:56.The world disqualifies you from having a life.
:03:57. > :03:58.It is as though, when you have a disability,
:03:59. > :04:04.you don't deserve to have equal rights in the community.
:04:05. > :04:06.The MP for Harlow, Robert Halfon, has taken up her complaints
:04:07. > :04:08.with CrossCountry Trains, describing the service as appalling
:04:09. > :04:10.and totally unacceptable in the 21st-century.
:04:11. > :04:17.I have never heard her complain in this way about her disability.
:04:18. > :04:19.In fact, she is a very positive, wonderful human being.
:04:20. > :04:22.It hugely saddens me that she has had to suffer and be humiliated by
:04:23. > :04:48.A spokesperson for CrossCountry said...
:04:49. > :04:50.Anne says she decided to speak out in the hope
:04:51. > :04:59.Too many people with disabilities, she says, suffer in silence.
:05:00. > :05:02.I spoke to Anne earlier and asked if she had heard
:05:03. > :05:07.They haven't apologised directly to me.
:05:08. > :05:11.They have sent a statement to the BBC this morning.
:05:12. > :05:14.They have also sent a letter to my local MP, Robert Halfon, but
:05:15. > :05:16.they have not actually apologised directly to me.
:05:17. > :05:29.This is what so many other people with disabilities are going through.
:05:30. > :05:32.You know, this is what it means to really have a system
:05:33. > :05:38.that is letting you down, a system that is failing you.
:05:39. > :05:40.The CrossCountry trains failed me big time.
:05:41. > :05:48.The least they could do is at least apologise.
:05:49. > :05:50.Is that why you decided to come forward publicly,
:05:51. > :05:53.given that you have a profile as a Paralympic athlete?
:05:54. > :05:58.I am not going public because I have a profile as a
:05:59. > :06:02.Paralympian, I have gone public about this issue because I do not
:06:03. > :06:07.You do not need to be a Paralympian, you do not need to be in
:06:08. > :06:10.the public eye for the world to listen to you.
:06:11. > :06:13.I think people who are suffering, they need to rise up, they need
:06:14. > :06:18.Will you be travelling by train again?
:06:19. > :06:24.I will be travelling by train again and the reason why I
:06:25. > :06:27.will be travelling by train again is because I really want to hold
:06:28. > :06:32.Finally, we hear about the huge profits that train companies
:06:33. > :06:34.get but with something like this, an incident like this,
:06:35. > :06:37.should they be fined for this type of unacceptable
:06:38. > :06:42.There should be huge, huge fines imposed on such
:06:43. > :06:51.The CrossCountry trains should be fined for what has happened.
:06:52. > :06:52.We have legislation that actually supports passengers
:06:53. > :06:54.with disabilities, that says their human rights
:06:55. > :06:59.or disability rights are met, but what is the need of
:07:00. > :07:01.having legislation that is so weak that companies
:07:02. > :07:11.and organisations and big franchises will get out without paying fines?
:07:12. > :07:15.I think it is high time we started to call upon the government and all
:07:16. > :07:29.together, so that we can start to hold such people to account.
:07:30. > :07:31.2017 will see the pharmaeutical company AstraZeneca start
:07:32. > :07:34.to move into its new global headquarters in Cambridge.
:07:35. > :07:35.Up to 2,000 scientists will eventually be housed
:07:36. > :07:38.in a bespoke building on the city's Biomedical Campus.
