:00:09. > :00:12.First tonight there are claims that businesses in Fenland could be

:00:13. > :00:14.missing out on tens of thousands of pounds of support because

:00:15. > :00:16.the Local Enterprise Partnership is targetting more affluent

:00:17. > :00:22.The local MP Stephen Barclay says it must be made more accountable

:00:23. > :00:43.A company with a multi-million pound turnover, these are destined to

:00:44. > :00:50.become high-tech MRI scanners. They are still winning orders. One to

:00:51. > :00:54.help the commission Sellafield. But they say like a funding from the

:00:55. > :00:58.enterprise partnership is hindering their expansion plans. Much of what

:00:59. > :01:04.we do ultimately result in money of the pockets of employees that goes

:01:05. > :01:08.into the local community, all of the local shops and services ultimately

:01:09. > :01:13.the growth in this business. We have the growth in this business. We have

:01:14. > :01:19.a terrific opportunity to turn this into a very substantial business

:01:20. > :01:23.over the next few years. We have had very little support, sadly. The

:01:24. > :01:29.enterprise partnership at the heart of all of this is based here and it

:01:30. > :01:33.aim is to bring inward investment and funding to help businesses. That

:01:34. > :01:36.works across eight different counties with the aim of trying to

:01:37. > :01:44.bring in more jobs across the hall of the area. There are concerns in

:01:45. > :01:48.terms of major projects, like high-speed rail in the a 47 which

:01:49. > :01:51.appear to be making no movement whatsoever when schemes with a

:01:52. > :01:57.weaker business case elsewhere in the county are being progressed by

:01:58. > :02:00.the partnership and then as a lack of transparency as to how they're

:02:01. > :02:03.reaching those decisions and why they are pushing schemes in the

:02:04. > :02:07.here. Infrastructure delivery to here. Infrastructure delivery to

:02:08. > :02:13.whatever part of the county takes time and I think that is the

:02:14. > :02:17.reality. We understand that local people feel they need it now and

:02:18. > :02:23.that is to the rest of economic area. Can you understand why they

:02:24. > :02:27.feel they are not being helped? I understand why the feel they have

:02:28. > :02:32.been forgotten but other areas will feel the same. Companies here say

:02:33. > :02:37.they will continue to expand but say the rate at which they can grow and

:02:38. > :02:41.grasp opportunities is dependent on support and hard cash.

:02:42. > :02:44.One person has died after a gas explosion and fire

:02:45. > :02:48.Emergency services were called to Back Lane in Eye at half past

:02:49. > :02:50.Witnesses described the "frightening" moment that

:02:51. > :02:57.windows of neighbouring properties were smashed to save others nearby.

:02:58. > :03:01.Tributes have been paid to the man who was knocked down and killed

:03:02. > :03:04.He's been named as 58-year-old Mitchell Bailey.

:03:05. > :03:07.Flowers were laid at the Roman Way First School

:03:08. > :03:08.in Royston where Mr Bailey was a governor.

:03:09. > :03:12.The fire engine was responding to a 999 call on Wednesday evening,

:03:13. > :03:15.Hertfordshire's Chief Fire Officer is promising

:03:16. > :03:19.The fiance of the murdered children's author Helen Bailey

:03:20. > :03:21.'couldn't be bothered' when police tried to interview him

:03:22. > :03:23.a court heard today, but watched their every move

:03:24. > :03:28.Ian Stewart is accused of sedating and killing Miss Bailey,

:03:29. > :03:31.before dumping her body in a cesspit at their home in Royston.

:03:32. > :03:41.Kate Bradbrook sent this a little earlier from St Albans Crown Court

:03:42. > :03:47.Today we saw a police interview which was recorded with Ian Stewart

:03:48. > :03:52.back in April. Also today police revealed ordeal of a focal Ian

:03:53. > :04:02.Stewart needs to report his fiancee missing. My partner has been missing

:04:03. > :04:06.since Monday and has not contacted anyone. She said she was going away

:04:07. > :04:15.I don't know where she said she was going. I decided we should report

:04:16. > :04:21.it. It hasn't been reported already? It hasn't. She has been missing

:04:22. > :04:28.since Monday? Yes. Other evidence focused on police searches of Helen

:04:29. > :04:34.Bailey's home. Helen Bailey was last seen on the 11th of April last year

:04:35. > :04:38.had reported to police few days later, officers searched her home in

:04:39. > :04:42.Royston several times along with the surrounding area. Today the court

:04:43. > :04:46.heard from one of officers involved, special Sergeants McCall Goodier

:04:47. > :04:50.said Ian Stewart was very interested in what we were doing following is

:04:51. > :04:53.everywhere. She said he was very inquisitive, asking why we were

:04:54. > :04:59.doing things. He was watching our every single move. Another Sergeant

:05:00. > :05:03.said that at first Ian Stewart was very accommodating, and at other

:05:04. > :05:09.times appeared quite dismissive. He said he appeared to be in pain from

:05:10. > :05:13.his recent surgery, holding his hands to his side. It was the job of

:05:14. > :05:17.DC Hollie deigns to conduct a formal recorded interview with Ian Stewart,

:05:18. > :05:19.she said he kept cutting her short, she said he did not want to do the

:05:20. > :05:40.interview. She said Ian Stewart only started to

:05:41. > :05:44.relax when officers had finished searching the house, he agreed to be

:05:45. > :05:50.interviewed on the 22nd of April. The prosecution claim that he

:05:51. > :05:53.sedated his fiancee with sleeping pills before killing her and putting

:05:54. > :06:00.her body in the cesspit under her home. Ian Stewart denies murder,

:06:01. > :06:04.fraud, perverting the course of justice in preventing waffle burial.

:06:05. > :06:10.Other evidence focused on searches of Helen Bailey's home.

:06:11. > :06:13.Prince William has officially announced he is to the leave his job

:06:14. > :06:15.as a pilot with the East Anglia Air Ambulance.

:06:16. > :06:18.Kensington Palace say it will allow him to spend more time

:06:19. > :06:20.on his royal duties from this summer and help the Queen

:06:21. > :06:24.The Prince says he's loved being part of a team

:06:25. > :06:42.Here's Julie with a look ahead to the weekend and beyond.

:06:43. > :06:49.It is another dry night, and a cold one with a lot of clear sky.

:06:50. > :06:53.Temperatures I think like last night will fall below freezing, probably

:06:54. > :06:57.lower than these values in some spots, possibly down to -5 minus

:06:58. > :07:01.six. And with light winds, we're likely to see patchiness and that

:07:02. > :07:05.could be freezing fog. This will take awhile to create a model and

:07:06. > :07:08.once it has gone it should be fine and dry but we are expecting some

:07:09. > :07:12.thick clouds to feed in from the east. It should say die, probably

:07:13. > :07:17.the best of any rightness and sunshine the further south you are.

:07:18. > :07:21.The bridge is at best around 5 degrees, and we hold on to light

:07:22. > :07:25.winds. It looks like the dry conditions will continue into the

:07:26. > :07:28.afternoon the DVD. The National forecast is coming but I'll leave

:07:29. > :07:31.you with Outlook, Sunday has the better chance of brightness and

:07:32. > :07:32.sunshine and dry conditions hash-mac Dry conditions continuing

:07:33. > :07:36.into next week. feel cooler. Can we keep it going

:07:37. > :07:40.until the start of the new week? I suspect we can. Unconfirmed about --

:07:41. > :07:46.concerned about the fog around. Here is Helen with the national picture.

:07:47. > :07:53.Good evening. The weather is upon us. The cloud has made all the

:07:54. > :07:57.difference this week in particular. We have had some wonderful weather

:07:58. > :08:01.watcher pictures, this is Marlowe in Buckinghamshire, this was Conwy

:08:02. > :08:06.earlier in the day. Some areas still have the cloud. What a difference

:08:07. > :08:15.that makes. Edinburgh, the central lowlands, plagued by this band of

:08:16. > :08:19.narrow cloud, overnight more areas share in the frost. Pretty

:08:20. > :08:22.widespread, the frost overnight, cold across northern England,

:08:23. > :08:24.Southern Scotland and Northern Ireland than it has been this week.

:08:25. > :08:25.These
