:01:08. > :01:09.Earlier, police appealed for the public's health to trace him.

:01:10. > :01:11.I would be very grateful to the public.

:01:12. > :01:18.If they could keep their eyes out on social media.

:01:19. > :01:26.If they see him, call 999, but do not approach that man.

:02:03. > :02:05.And those tattoos on his arms, they read "pride" and "honour".

:02:06. > :02:09.So quite distinctive for anyone who might have seen him,

:02:10. > :02:13.either here in Luton or elsewhere over the past few days.

:02:14. > :02:17.It is now a nationwide search to try and find him.

:02:18. > :02:20.But just to reiterate what the police have said,

:02:21. > :02:26.not to approach him, but instead to dial 101.

:02:27. > :02:29.Next - it was supposed to be the perfect mix of town

:02:30. > :02:31.and country living, but residents who live

:02:32. > :02:34.in the new town of Priors Hall Park in Corby say the reality

:02:35. > :02:39.They were promised woodland walks and stunning scenery.

:02:40. > :02:41.But what they've got is a building site.

:02:42. > :02:47.David Crookes was one of the first residents to move

:02:48. > :02:51.into Priors Hall Park, seven years ago.

:02:52. > :02:54.And he gave me a tour of the estate to show what was promised

:02:55. > :02:59.The lakes, the cycle areas, the picnic areas,

:03:00. > :03:03.all the activities that are advertised on their

:03:04. > :03:11.And this is the woodland walks and lakeside views

:03:12. > :03:13.still being promoted on the Priors Hall website.

:03:14. > :03:19.All the builders have left, and this is what we are left with.

:03:20. > :03:25.Nowhere to walk, we are surrounded by these Harris fences all the way

:03:26. > :03:28.The estate everywhere you look, it is Harris fences.

:03:29. > :03:34.Large areas of woodland have been cleared and the areas that

:03:35. > :03:39.The website shows picturesque Lakeland areas, but this

:03:40. > :03:43.is in fact Rutland Water, some 20 miles away.

:03:44. > :03:51.Either fenced off or surrounded by wasteland.

:03:52. > :03:53.Fed up about the situation, local residents are now

:03:54. > :03:57.All the woodlands that were promised have actually been taken down.

:03:58. > :03:59.Across from our house, a beautiful area, they have

:04:00. > :04:04.We bought it on the promise that it was only going to be 30 houses.

:04:05. > :04:07.Now, all the woodland that was remaining has been taken

:04:08. > :04:17.But I am really, knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have moved.

:04:18. > :04:19.Nothing has lived up to the expectations

:04:20. > :04:29.There is no bus routes, so you would need to have a car.

:04:30. > :04:35.There is, if you are willing to drive ten miles.

:04:36. > :04:38.The situation here is contradicted by the fact that the developers went

:04:39. > :04:43.But the whole of the site is now in the hands of administrators,

:04:44. > :04:53.Houses are still up for sale on the website.

:04:54. > :04:56.But the administrators have no comment to make

:04:57. > :04:59.as to whether this website itself was misleading potential buyers.

:05:00. > :05:04.As for the residents already here, the wait for woodland and lakeside

:05:05. > :05:13.There are just two days to go before the Prime Minister triggers

:05:14. > :05:22.of the region's most senior Ukip members.

:05:23. > :05:24.Patrick O'Flynn, who's an MEP, says the party will act

:05:25. > :05:32.despite Ukip losing its only MP Douglas Carswell at the weekend.

:05:33. > :05:35.The party is striking a defiant tone?

:05:36. > :05:37.Yes, Patrick O'Flynn airily dismissing any such

:05:38. > :05:39.suggestion that Ukip is on the ropes.

:05:40. > :05:42.But to say Ukip has waged a civil war with itself recently

:05:43. > :05:45.It's had three different leaders within 12 months,

:05:46. > :05:49.fisticuffs in the European Parliament,

:05:50. > :05:52.and now it's lost its one and only MP.

:05:53. > :05:55.But with the country still in the EU, rumours

:05:56. > :06:01.of their demise are premature according to the MEP.

:06:02. > :06:04.I was elected on a mission to get the United Kingdom out

:06:05. > :06:07.And it was a much scoffed at mission at the time.

:06:08. > :06:10.But we are on course. But we are not there yet.

:06:11. > :06:12.So absolutely, that core function of Ukip hasn't

:06:13. > :06:16.Let alone the other policy ideas such as bringing down

:06:17. > :06:20.foreign aid budgets, being the tough law and order

:06:21. > :06:24.party, and tackling the crisis in integration.

:06:25. > :06:27.So what's their future in this part of the region?

:06:28. > :06:30.In the 2010 General Election, their regional

:06:31. > :06:35.Five years later, and they had quadrupled that number.

:06:36. > :06:41.But despite the gains, they had just one MP to show for it.

:06:42. > :06:49.Britain's Best Surprise - that's the slogan tourism

:06:50. > :06:53.bosses in Northamptonshire are using for their latest campaign.

:06:54. > :06:56.And the county's stately homes and Formula One connections are seen

:06:57. > :07:01.as big selling points, as Stuart Ratcliffe reports.

:07:02. > :07:04.These pictures speak a million words.

:07:05. > :07:06.But perhaps in the past, Northamptonshire hasn't been

:07:07. > :07:11.Which is why former creative director of advertising

:07:12. > :07:16.giant Saatchi and Saatchi says Northamptonshire's stately homes

:07:17. > :07:25.You can see people's eyes glaze over when you

:07:26. > :07:27.say you are going to Northamptonshire.

:07:28. > :07:33.They imagine wind swept moors like Sheffield.

:07:34. > :07:37.You say, it is 60 minutes on the train to Northampton.

:07:38. > :07:44.They look surprised. They literally do not know about it.

:07:45. > :07:48.The launch today at Boughton House has two major objectives.

:07:49. > :07:51.To boost visitor numbers and then, crucialyl, the economy.

:07:52. > :07:54.The ?1 billion of tourist money, increase that by

:07:55. > :08:08.And take jobs up to 20,000 from 13,000.

:08:09. > :08:12.That is directly from the tourist-led visitor economy.

:08:13. > :08:15.Some of Northamptonshire's most high-profile of residents are

:08:16. > :08:19.supporting the county's biggest ever marketing drive.

:08:20. > :08:23.This is the most famous stately home here, perhaps - Althorp.

:08:24. > :08:26.It is expecting a surge in visitors later this

:08:27. > :08:31.20th anniversary of the death of the Princess of Wales.

:08:32. > :08:35.To mark that anniversary, a special exhibition

:08:36. > :08:37.featuring unseen photographs of the late Princess will be

:08:38. > :08:44.But it is much more than stately homes, the hospitality, arts

:08:45. > :08:46.industry and motorsport industries are lending their support.

:08:47. > :08:50.We get 1.5 million visitors to Silverstone yearly.

:08:51. > :08:53.Events, driving experiences, conferences.

:08:54. > :08:56.We are at the heart of Northamptonshire.

:08:57. > :08:58.They can extend their visit beyond what

:08:59. > :09:04.Another of the most recognised buildings is

:09:05. > :09:08.getting in on the act. Doubling as a billboard.

:09:09. > :09:14.Organisers admit it is being run on a shoe string.

:09:15. > :09:17.As someone said to me today, we make the best shoes in the

:09:18. > :09:25.world, so our shoestrings will take a beating.

:09:26. > :09:30.I'll leave you with the weather for the week ahead with Julie.

:09:31. > :09:31.Hello there. It's a dry night.

:09:32. > :09:34.With some mist and fog, and also some clear sky.

:09:35. > :09:38.Underneath those clearer skies, it is going to turn quite chilly.

:09:39. > :09:41.Temperatures could fall lower than that - down

:09:42. > :09:45.In the wind, that means we cannot rule out patchy frost.

:09:46. > :09:48.Tomorrow, the mist and fog should clear fairly readily.

:09:49. > :09:51.Then we should have a dry spell of weather with sunny spells.

:09:52. > :09:53.Eventually, some showers pushing in, and some of these could be heavy,

:09:54. > :09:58.Temperatures at best around 17 Celsius.

:09:59. > :10:01.In the best of any sunshine, I think we could get higher,

:10:02. > :10:03.up to around 20 Celsius, 68 Fahrenheit.

:10:04. > :10:05.We finish the day, yes, with a scattering of showers,

:10:06. > :10:08.but also a lot of fine and dry weather, too.

:10:09. > :10:13.Then on Wednesday, the tail end of this front might just produce

:10:14. > :10:16.a lot of cloud in the morning. Even a little bit of patchy rain.

:10:17. > :10:20.On the whole, looking dry, quite a lot of cloud around

:10:21. > :10:25.Towards the end of the week, Thursday and Friday,

:10:26. > :10:27.the weather influenced by this system.

:10:28. > :10:29.The cold front moving through on Friday.

:10:30. > :10:32.As it stands, Thursday should be largely fine and dry

:10:33. > :10:38.Again, temperatures could get higher than this, up to 19 or 20 Celsius.

:10:39. > :10:40.On Friday, that cold front bringing outbreaks of rain.

:10:41. > :10:42.Eventually clearing, giving way to sunshine.

:10:43. > :10:46.In a moment, John will have the national forecast.

:10:47. > :10:49.I will leave you with the outlook for next weekend.

:10:50. > :10:53.Some of the showers could be thundery.

:10:54. > :10:55.Sunday perhaps a few showers first thing,

:10:56. > :11:03.showery on Saturday, dry and brighter on Sunday and if we go back

:11:04. > :11:06.to the temperatures in the next couple days, you see those highs on

:11:07. > :11:22.Thursday. He is John Hammond with the national
