:00:46. > :00:47."It doesn't seem real that our little Archie has gone to
:00:48. > :00:53.heaven and our little Daniel is in intensive care."
:00:54. > :00:55.Today, in Chelmsford, at the opening of an
:00:56. > :00:56.inquest into Archie's death, it was revealed
:00:57. > :01:01.David Dingel, a coroner's officer, told the hearing Archie Darby
:01:02. > :01:05.was a four-month-old baby being held in his mother's `rms when
:01:06. > :01:10.he was taken out of his mother's arms by the family dog and `ttacked.
:01:11. > :01:13.The hearing was told that a postmortem examination took place
:01:14. > :01:17.The provisional cause of de`th was severe head injuries
:01:18. > :01:22.These are Staffordshire bull terriers similar
:01:23. > :01:25.to the family dog that attacked Archie Darby at this house
:01:26. > :01:32.This afternoon, the boys' atnt Claire Ferdinand confirmed she owned
:01:33. > :01:38.the dog and also confirmed she's a serving police officer.
:01:39. > :01:41.Essex Police say they are continuing to investigate
:01:42. > :01:43.the facts but they have also said the investigation is not a
:01:44. > :01:47.criminal one and is unlikelx to be in the future.
:01:48. > :01:50.Officers say an examination of the dog's body has found nothing
:01:51. > :01:53.that could explain why the attack happened.
:01:54. > :01:56.Meanwhile, Archie's brother, Daniel-Jay,
:01:57. > :01:59.is still recovering in hosphtal with his parents after undergoing surgery
:02:00. > :02:04.to treat what police describe as life changing injuries.
:02:05. > :02:09.In that statement, the boys' aunt Claire Ferdinand
:02:10. > :02:12.issued on behalf of her and her husband, she said,
:02:13. > :02:18.and would never have risked the lives of our precious ndphews.

:03:21. > :03:25.Norfolk seems to have had a few incidences of stranding in
:03:26. > :03:30.And with a big beach like Holkham, it was bound to
:03:31. > :03:35.This afternoon, a team from the
:03:36. > :03:37.Cetacean Strandings Investigation programme,
:03:38. > :03:39.based at London Zoo, arrived to carry out a
:03:40. > :03:51.postmortem to find out more about the whale and why it died
:03:52. > :03:54.But we can say at this stagd, it looks like it is a femald.
:03:55. > :03:56.I can't tell you exactly because that area
:03:57. > :03:59.It's obviously a young anim`l, the females get much bigger
:04:00. > :04:02.than this and it also appears to be pretty thin,
:04:03. > :04:06.There are a couple of things we have in the back of our
:04:07. > :04:07.mind about what might be driving that.
:04:08. > :04:10.We'll hopefully learn more `s we go through the course
