:00:15. > :00:19.First tonight, a week after a woman was raped in a car park in Ipswich,

:00:20. > :00:22.detectives release new CCTV, in a bid to make a breakthrough.

:00:23. > :00:24.The woman was attacked in the early hours of Saturday

:00:25. > :00:28.Police say she had been followed by two men for some time.

:00:29. > :00:31.She was left unconscious by the severity of the attack.

:00:32. > :00:33.Tonight, there are extra officers on the streets of Ipswich.

:00:34. > :00:44.The latest CCTV footage of the two unknown young men is very clear.

:00:45. > :00:47.There is a hope that someone knows the pair or will

:00:48. > :00:49.recognise them from last Friday night into the early hours

:00:50. > :00:54.It is thought the two men had an altercation with two women in

:00:55. > :00:56.Bowman's Bar at around 1.40 on Saturday morning,

:00:57. > :00:58.before heading into the club next door.

:00:59. > :01:01.The men left the club on foot about 2:20am.

:01:02. > :01:04.They are then picked up on CCTV again at about 3.05,

:01:05. > :01:08.in Dogs Head Street, where it is thought they saw the woman.

:01:09. > :01:10.Moments later, between 3.10-3.20am, she was

:01:11. > :01:16.attacked in Rope Walk and dragged into a nearby car park.

:01:17. > :01:18.Here, the victim, who is in her late 20s, was

:01:19. > :01:20.beaten, brutally raped and knocked unconscious.

:01:21. > :01:24.The woman has been released from hospital, but has been

:01:25. > :01:30.We are targeting our enquiries in accordance

:01:31. > :01:31.with the intelligence we are receiving.

:01:32. > :01:33.As you can see, we have produced good images.

:01:34. > :01:35.We just need the golden piece of information

:01:36. > :01:41.You are treating these two men as potential suspects,

:01:42. > :01:46.I am satisfied that the two men whose images we have

:01:47. > :01:48.released are the two men need to speak to

:01:49. > :01:56.It is very likely, if people see these

:01:57. > :02:00.images and know these men, it would be able to give us their names.

:02:09. > :02:09.CCTV near the town's Cattle Market area,

:02:10. > :02:13.Tonight, police have stepped up patrols in the centre of Ipswich,

:02:14. > :02:15.partly to give reassurance, but also in the hope that these

:02:16. > :02:18.new images they have released will jog someone's memory.

:02:19. > :02:20.They say it is crucial that any witnesses come forward

:02:21. > :02:24.It is thanks to the cameras installed by the owners of the

:02:25. > :02:28.bar that the police were able to get such good images of the two men.

:02:29. > :02:30.They want to talk to anyone who may have spoken to

:02:31. > :02:34.them a week ago today, but especially the two women with whom

:02:35. > :02:36.it is believed they had an altercation with in the bar

:02:37. > :02:38.in the early hours of Saturday morning.

:02:39. > :02:39.Their recollections could prove crucial.

:02:40. > :02:41.Suffolk Police say anyone with information should contact them

:02:42. > :02:55.on 101 or call Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.

:02:56. > :02:56.Justice Secretary Elizabeth Truss has spoken publicly

:02:57. > :02:59.for the first time about the catalogue of errors

:03:00. > :03:00.which led to a mentally-ill man electrocuting himself

:03:01. > :03:06.Mrs Truss is now offering Dean Saunders' parents the chance

:03:07. > :03:16.to help the government prevent further suicides in jail.

:03:17. > :03:18.Elizabeth Truss, leaving Whitemore high security prison.

:03:19. > :03:20.She is promising more prison staff and more money for those

:03:21. > :03:24.The tour of the prison came just days after talks

:03:25. > :03:29.I met the family of Dean Saunders and,

:03:30. > :03:37.clearly, it was a very tragic event which took place at HMP Chelmsford.

:03:38. > :03:40.I have offered them to become involved in our policy-making,

:03:41. > :03:42.to make sure we're doing what we can to prevent those

:03:43. > :03:49.Are you sorry with regard to the Dean Saunders case that

:03:50. > :03:50.things were not in place at that time?

:03:51. > :03:53.Certainly, it was not good enough what happened in

:03:54. > :03:59.We have looked at the case and learnt lessons from it,

:04:00. > :04:01.both in the prison service and the NHS.

:04:02. > :04:04.But there is more that we need to do.

:04:05. > :04:07.Dean Saunders was mentally ill when he electrocuted himself

:04:08. > :04:08.in his Chelmsford prison cell last year.

:04:09. > :04:10.The prison ombudsman reported that he should have been

:04:11. > :04:14.An inquest stated that he had been failed by

:04:15. > :04:16.both the prison service and the mental health systems.

:04:17. > :04:19.At the meeting with the Justice Secretary,

:04:20. > :04:21.the parents of Dean Saunders Saunders

:04:22. > :04:23.came out with assurances that mistakes made in their son's death

:04:24. > :04:35.When we went through Dean's case in the first place and pointed out

:04:36. > :04:37.all the failings the Justice Secretary said, "Yes, we agree."

:04:38. > :04:40.Now, we just need to see the actions.

:04:41. > :04:43.With levels of violence in prisons up and staffing levels down,

:04:44. > :04:44.the Prison Officers Association has welcomed the idea

:04:45. > :04:46.from the Justice Secretary of the Saunders family

:04:47. > :04:53.helping to prevent further suicides behind bars.

:04:54. > :04:56.Tonight, the parents of Dean Saunders said it was too late to

:04:57. > :05:05.save their son, but they welcomed the offer to try and save others.

:05:06. > :05:08.There has been a second bird flu outbreak in Suffolk,

:05:09. > :05:10.this time at a farm run by Gressingham Foods,

:05:11. > :05:14.This afternoon, Defra confirmed that the virus has been discovered

:05:15. > :05:16.at the farm in Redgrave, close to where the first outbreak

:05:17. > :05:21.No birds have been found to have the virus, but thousands

:05:22. > :05:30.of ducks will have to be culled. Mike Liggins reports.

:05:52. > :05:58.been phoned on the farm. To contain the portable spread of the virus, a
